Making sure he has his story right?
Actually I think he is someone who works things out in his head. Some people work things out by talking. Just a simple personality difference. IMO.

That's a good question. But what does it mean? Keeping his story right because he wants the truth and only the truth to be known? That sounds reasonable to me.
Why would anyone have to rehearse the truth? A lie yes, the truth no IMO.

Which leaves "stranger danger". He was a small looking, blonde looking, likely troubled 13 year old. How closely have they checked the registered sex offenders, I wonder?
Mark doesn't personally know Tricia and after the Dr Phil debacle he's probably a little gun shy about being question by people he doesn't know. I imagine he was worried about being ambushed. And he prepared himself for that. That's totally understandable to me.

No. Why do you think LE wants to interview the last person to see a victim ASAP? So they don't have time to construct some made-up story.
LE claims the closest SOs were cleared.
But the case in Iowa - if that perv actually was also responsible for E and L's deaths, that was like 30 miles away, wasn't it?
I wonder how wide of a radius of RSOs they checked and how many?
AlwaysShocked said that they were new to the case. Thus they are not aware of the inconsistencies in MR's past version of the stories. Nor are they aware of the reasons that ER might be a tad bitter at this time. I will be curious to see if they have the same comments after they read more about the events surrounding this case. JMO
I personally think that anyone who sticks with the "facts" and doesn't consider all the personal opinions of others will come to the same conclusion as AlwaysShocked.

Inconsistencies in the way one lays out the 'facts' of a story can be very problematic. MR has gotten his messed up a few times, imo.

Well, you could be right but I'll let AlwaysShocked make that decision. I don't think that AS needs to go thru all 51 threads to come to a good understanding of this case. There's not that many facts to look at so it shouldn't take a long time to decide. MOO.This poster has admitted to not being familiar with this case and only basing opinion on a single radio interview done 6 !/2 months after the disappearance of Dylan (November 19, 2012). I would suggest that opinion doesn't bear a lot of credence at this time. After the poster catches up and reviews all the interviews, msm articles and videos, official LE releases, over 51 WS threads, etc. , even the official facebook page I would venture to guess an opinion change. I will agree with the post that Tricia was an incredible host and unbiased moderator on the Sunday show (June 2, 2013).
former staff member with First United Methodist Church in Durango has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to lure a child through the Internet.
Ian Robert Walker, 24, of Alamosa, was arrested Wednesday on the campus of Adams State College in Alamosa. He was booked into the Alamosa County Jail on suspicion of Internet luring of a child and sexual exploitation of a child. He since has posted bail.
The La Plata County Sheriffs Office, which assisted with the investigation, is seeking possible victims of Internet crimes against children in this region.
