I did. I said it was not a joyous occasion for Dylan to move six hours away from all he knew in Bayfield, his friends, his father, his school. I said that Dylan would be conflicted about moving even if he wanted to go. Even the world of children is rarely black and white.

He had rarely seen his father in the three years previous to moving. Even Mark admits that. And Dylan was eager to move to a larger school, with more 'girls' to choose from, better sports opportunities, and closer to his extended family.

I think it was more positive than negative. I don't understand what it has to do with D going missing though. Are you implying he ran away and hid in Bayfield?

Both parents of missing 13-year-old Dylan Redwine took polygraph tests, the boy’s mother said Monday.

Elaine Redwine told Nancy Grace on CNN Headline News that both she and Mark Redwine took polygraph tests. She said she passed, but said authorities cannot release results.

Unless you know Dylan personally and asked him specifically how he felt about it, this would be your opinion and should be stated as such instead of as if it is factual. When anyone else says something in a factual manner, they are asked for links. If you don't have a link, a simple "IMO" makes it easy to determine that this is your opinion.

You are absolutely right and this is why I want to talk about Dylan. What kinds of feelings, conflicts, adjustments he may have been dealing with. Moving away was not a joyous occasion and even if Dylan wanted to go, he was bound to have some conflicting emotions. I don't know why some people think that really taking a look at Dylan and getting a comprehensive picture of him is somehow disrespectful. In no way is Dylan responsible for what has happened to him. He was only 13.

The problem here it that when does it become sleuthing the victim? If you want to go down this path, perhaps if you ask a mod what the rules would be?

It's common early on to focus on the last known person to have seen the missing person, but after a time, and when there hasn't been enough evidence found against that person, they usually move on to something else, and focus in another direction. Not necessarily another person... just other possibilities.

They can't move on until they've cleared the logical. And that's why, IMO, it would have been so great if they had been able to have full cooperation and clear MR quickly, if possible. This is from the link to Klaas Kids provided by WS:

They will ask questions that seem irrelevant and may even ask you to take a polygraph examination. It is not fair, but it is necessary. JMO, but I really do feel bad for LE in this case. I am sure many of them are parents, and being unable to charge anyone to date must be incredibly frustrating and weighing heavily on them.

IIRC, and I don't have the source material at my fingertips so I can't provide a link, the following was said to have happened.

MR said that LE suggested mediation for MR and ER because of their communication issues.

ER said that she would not attend mediation without LE there.

From data I have heard that people received when getting in touch with LE through the Tip Line, it does not appear that LE is favoring one party over the other or telling one party things that they are not telling the other party. JMO

Many of us have been closely following the Jodi Arias trial. The prosecutor, Juan Martinez, is a real "firecracker" and has a massive following of secret (and not so secret) admirers. A "Juanette" is one of many terms of endearment his admirers use to show our love for him. Hope that explains!

Perhaps MK's opinion has changed over time from that particular discussion with NG. Maybe Tricia can try to see if she can work some magic and get MK's group involved or TES or anyone else who can assist with finding this child. It's gone on long enough.

Three trained dogs hit on four locations near the dam where human scent was picked up.

Dylan's brother, Cory Redwine:

"Hope's are high, but the situation isn't very promising, so..."

Cory watched the activity by the dive team from New Mexico today.

"Me and him, he was my hero just as much as I was his, it's just been...I can't even explain it you know...it just tears you up inside not knowing where...what he's doing."

Dylan's family was asked (by investigators) to bring more of his clothes tomorrow for use with the dogs to pick up his scent.

Missing Boy's Mother Suspects Ex-Husband in Son's Disappearance
IGNACIO, Colo. Nov. 26, 2012


The mother of 13-year-old boy Dylan Redwine, who disappeared a week ago during a court ordered visit to his father, fears that the dad may have done something to "remove Dylan from the situation."

Dylan Redwine was last seen at the home of his father, Mark Redwine, when he vanished seven days ago.

"I was married to Mark for a lot of years, and I know the way he reacts to things," Elaine Redwine told ABC News. "If Dylan maybe did or said something that wasn't what Mark wanted to hear, I'm just afraid of how Mark would have reacted."

Elaine and Mark were divorced and live about five hours away from each other, ABC News affiliate KMGH reports. Dylan was staying at his father's home because of a court order granting his father visitation rights for Thanksgiving.

Elaine Redwine told ABC News she believes her ex-husband was upset that she was the court-mandated primary custodian of their son.

"I don't think Mark treats him very well," Elaine Redwine said. "I would not put it past Mark to have done something to remove Dylan from the situation. You know, like 'if I can't have him, nobody will.'"

Elaine Redwine told ABC News she was having a difficult time getting in touch with her ex-husband about their son.

"He hasn't had any contact with us. [My older son] tried to get a hold of him by texting him, and he wouldn't respond," she said. "I just find it odd that at a time like this, he would be so evasive."

Mark Redwine declined to speak to ABC News.

Mark Redwine is certainly a victim.

according to who?

LE?
himself?
people who know him and live in the same community?
people who don't know him?

The only person who knows for certain if MR is a victim is Dylan and unfortunately he went missing within 24 hours of being in his fathers care.


Dylan is missing, MR was the last known person to see him and his actions have been curious to say the least IMO

if he is a victim why does LE still have him under investigation according to their last press release?
