Yes. It's also possible to flat out forget and remember at a later time. I have a very close family member who only recovered his own memories of early childhood abuse two years ago. He's in his late thirties. It shattered his world.

Tendency to high levels of dissociation can run in families. It certainly does in mine. Some think that it might be why two unrelated people can experience comparable levels of traumatic experience, but one develops DID or represses their memories, and one doesn't.

Thank you for clarifying these complex issues, it’s been very helpful!

If T was sexually abused by her stepfather or by anyone, I'm sorry that her young self experienced that. Sadly, she wouldn't be alone. But why do I feel like T is using abuse that may or may not have occurred to manipulate and gain sympathy? It seems markedly vague which is consistent with so many of her unsubstantiated claims. She always has an angle. And it's always self-serving.

More than anything, I find T preposterously inauthentic.

Oh, and awful.

The fact that she has clearly made up stories about being raped many times to many people through the course of this case to manipulate people and the case makes her less credible, and that doesn't make anyone listening a bad person for doubting she might have been abused.

I believe people who report they have experienced sexual assault, generally without needing proof or specifics, but it's such a case of crying wolf, it's harder to feel sympathy for any childhood trauma she may have experienced.

Her childhood may have been traumatic, but she survived it. Gannon didn't.

Agreed.

She is a pathological liar so I lean toward the early years of sexual abuse as being another lie because she also lied about sexual harassment, rape and harassment and that she did not "hurt" Gannon. She will do whatever it takes to deflect, take control and be the victim. imo

Is Mortecia asleep on her book??

Diagnosed with Borderline with Narcissistic features again.

As far as the narcissistic features, she touted her intelligence. She perceived how others saw her, or how she should be treated by her attorneys, and others, and that showed a sense of entitlement.

Good to know. Sounds like despite my brain going on the blink, I didn't miss anything glaringly different to the first witness.

She told Dr. Torres she had never been psychiatrically hospitalized.

What about Canada, Letecia? Now, Dr. Torres said they did eventually find record Letecia said Canada, but unfortunately they weren't able to track down where or anything. (or if it was true or real) Letecia said she could not remember that much about it. Letecia gave vague.

I think it's safe to assume LS did not spend 2 days in a Canadian psych hospital given she complained to the Judge in her letter of March 2021 that she signed consent for this info to be released to her attorneys. I'm sure the prosecutor would have received a copy of this consent in Discovery if it existed.

Definitely narcissistic but that does not cause/mean you will murder.
Some CEO's and presidents, etc are narcissistic.

Noticeable entitlement .

We’ve always known that since her Cousin It interview.

So, I'm playing catch-up here, but it basically sounds like the testing was consistently full of feigning and exaggeration, her claimed symptoms didn't match what she said she had or came across as fake, and we're right back at cluster B personality disorders. That about right?

On LS claiming DID, I think?: "Unfortunately, her exaggeration of symptoms undermines her own selfreport." Nerfed yourself there, LS.

Breaking down psychosis and how it relates to crime and insanity.

So this Canadian treatment center -- T was unable to name the facility or even the city it was in.

I wonder if it wasn't actually located in Canada.

Maybe it was located in a Disney movie.

Well, in case the District Court Judge was unaware, LS did tell him that Canada is across the border (with emphasis added). Just sayin...

The mental disease or defect has to be tied directly to their understanding of what was going on at the time. She's talking about the ability to form intent, and about perception of reality.

Says some people don't attempt to hide the crime, others do.

"As evaluators, we look at the statue as relates to the specific crime." Knowingly, consciously, recklessly. What those mean in relation to the person who committed the crime.

When sanity is raised, they consult with both prosecution and defense as to why. Review discovery, additional evidence, their own records and evaluation, talked on the phone to both AS and LS's aunt. Nothing from Canada in the records provided. Only records she received from Florida was something about a residential treatment program for substance abuse that LS claims she didn't actually stay beyond a day at.

I'm liking this witness on the stand, she seems calm, assured, and knowledgeable. Experienced and thorough in her chosen field.

Dr. says they talked to Letecia's ex Mr. Stauch, to Aunt Brenda,... oh no, attorney didn't ask what did Aunt Brenda say, I want to know.

House of Freedom is a place for maybe substance abuse (in Florida), that Letecia said she only went for a day and then didn't stay.
