Little over 2 hours of deliberation today and 4 hours on Fri.
Yes, the vote must be unanimous, and why we often hear that "it only takes one juror" to dissent -- and cause a mistrial.Correct me if Im wrong, but doesnt Colorado have a 100% conviction rate for jurors? Meaning all of them have to have the same vote?
You're very welcome!Justice for Gannon.
TY for posting pics here, I often use them.
I love all that work you do . I often look over it to remind me of details about different cases. . Thank you ! The articles get edited or deleted and tossed behind paywalls. The photo history you save is amazing!Justice for Gannon.

I like this. The more I think about it, the more I find this to be the most realistic theory. I imagine they had a lot of just decompressing via conversation to do. This was a long and difficult, and sometimes bizarre, trial. To be frank, I would have needed a weekend to recover from Dr Lewis on the stand for two days, too.
I think they talked openly and free-form about the case for a few hours over lunch, and went into the weekend with the resolution to get down to business when they'd all had a chance to reset and recover and be able to give it their full attention. Smart.

Me, too!Love seeing all of the support for Gannon outside of the courthouse.
I really think the Jury is just being responsible. We are in a watched pot never boils situation here! I bet the time for the Jury is going a lot quicker and they simply want to make sure they fulfil their duties carefully and get all the paper work right. Could have simply wanted Dr Lewis' report to confirm their notes and impressions that her testimony was not credible. MOORemoving all emotion from this trial - was there any weak point in the state's case that the jury could agonize over?
John H JR. served 41 years + after his attempt to kill President Ford. He was also found NGRI.
