They found a sufficient amount of blood in the townhome on the evening of the 20th. PF was arrested the next morning. MOO

Good point. If she had never reconnected with him and he had not convinced her what a horrible mother Kelsey was, she would never have been involved in the first place.

But there's something seriously wrong with KK that would have surfaced anyway (and probably surfaces all the time in her life). Lots of people hook up with exes who tell them tales about their baby mamas, etc., but almost no one enters into long discussions about murder, helping to plan a murder, and then cleans up after a murder. Most people would distance themselves from an ex who started talking about murdering their current fiancée.

And as for PF, it's possible he absolutely hates everything and everyone and that rage is his ordinary state. He has learned, like many sociopaths, to mimic the rest of us. Because he can do that, he thinks he understands the normal world better than it understands itself. The world was his to smash and brutalize, at will. He didn't care if he took himself down, at least not in the sense of "cared enough to avoid incriminating himself every which way from Sunday - including spelling out all his plans to KK."

PF would have made a good (but short-lived) gladiator or a member of the Roman legions (or their Germanic counterparts) where bashing was the occupation and life was brutish and brief. He's too stupid and undisciplined to have risen in the ranks of either. He's the kind of guy a centurion would be happy to send out as a sacrifice, in hopes damage done would aid a larger cause.

PF has no larger cause than whatever he wants in the moment. His future doesn't look good, from his own perspective. Sksksksks.

Happy early birthday to you all. Let's not forget that Baby K's birthday is also in October.
I almost hope for a delay so she won't have to grow up and find out that her father went to prison for murdering her mother close to her 2nd birthday. She should be blowing out birthday candles with her Mama every year instead of watching a trial. But I guess it's a somewhat moot point since PF effectively ruined every holiday for Baby K forever when he murdered Kelsey on Thanksgiving Day. Baby K will never have another birthday or holiday with Kelsey. She'll never know her Mom, except through the memories of her grandparents and uncle. Poor baby will grow up hurting and missing her mom no matter when the trial happens. So I will join you all in hoping that Justice is her birthday present too. MOO.

They had all those search warrants, but no arrests until someone said they had witnessed the body being disposed of, and had been told about the murder by the killer.

Yes, and maybe what is confusing people is that KK gave her account on the 20th and they also went to KB's townhome that evening. Search warrant was drawn up and signed by a judge by the end of the day. MOO

Well, that's what I thought to begin with, but then I read another post that said they only searched until the 12th.

So maybe it WAS the culmination of all the blood evidence that KK pointed out that was a major factor leading LE to believe she was murdered.

At one time I had all the dates written down somewhere, but who knows where that is now.

I guess I'm just not as organized as all your people down in the basement.

I'm not sure which is worse, that he asked, or that KK actually gave him the opportunity to ask two additional times!

But whether or not she would have found herself being involved in a murder if she had not met PF is hard to say.

They had a long history together and the whole situation was a recipe for disaster.

Oh no, I definitely want that jerk behind bars for life- I don't want him to ever see the outside of prison ever again. Believe me, I am livid beyond words over his actions. He is despicable.

However, as a woman myself, there is just no way in God's creation that I could ever attempt to kill another woman, then clean up after my boyfriend or whatever he was to her's mess from the murder. She is a nurse for God's sake. She saw suffering in her work days. How could she do this? How can you explain her behavior? How can you explain one mother killing another?

The last I know, KK and Kelsey didn't know one another- maybe met here or there at a rodeo, but they didn't interact outside of that. She didn't know Kelsey as a person! She helped a man who she knew in her younger years, then reconnected with him after PF and Kelsey hooked up- which begs the question- just how much time did she actually spend with PF, living so far away? How could she have formed an opinion about Kelsey without knowing her, and just go along with either trying to kill her or clean up after her boyfriend or whatever he was killed her?

The only victim here is Kelsey. PF and KK are not victims. They are the reason why her daughter no longer has a loving mother, why her parents can't even give her a decent burial, why her brother has no sibling. Both of them. KK is not a victim here!

Legally though, she is less culpable than he is because she didn’t kill Kelsey.

And that's the thing isn't it? He "allegedly" solicited her 3 times and she doesn't just keep talking to him she drives some 800 miles 3 times to have a go at it, but just can't bring herself to do it. I'm assuming she has just a smidge more brain matter than him, but not much. As I've said before, she wanted KB dead for her own selfish egotistical reasons. PF and KK were a match made in hell.

Interesting. Well, a nurse was hired by a facility here, and promptly fired when the news publicized about her felony conviction for elder abuse! WTH?!
