Ok, so if you don’t buy the baseball bat story, how do you think blood got under the floorboards, on the fireplace, and wherever else it was found?

We don't know if blood did get under the floorboards or whereever else because Slater testified at the prelim that the test results weren't back. So this is something we won't know until trial.

Ball bat would be far too messy and totally unnecessary if the goal was to make it appear that KB disappeared on her own. That apparently was PF's goal to present it as a possible suicide. Plus, if KB's remains are found, blunt force trauma to her skull will not be indicative of suicide.

I'm not sure where the baby was but I'm betting she was nowhere near there.

I was not mistaken. AA Attachment 'A' page 8 reads as follows:
66. Lee had knowledge of how Frazee murdered Berreth, because he told her about it in detail. Frazee used a baseball bat to kill Berreth in the living room of her residence on the 22nd of November, 2019. Frazee had tied something around Berreth's eyes, and was having her guess the scents of different candles.

68. Frazee instructed Lee to clean Berreth's residence. Lee described a horrific scene at Berreth's residence that was inclusive of blood all over the residence. Blood was on the curtains, pillows, books, baby toys, stuffed animals, oven mitts, Berreth's purse, and other items. Lee took the items covered in blood from Berreth's apartment and burned them on Frazee's property with Frazee.

Lee wore gloves, a hair net, booties, and a white suit that covered her whole body. She also used the shower to help clean up the residence.

70. Lee stated investigators could still find Berreth's blood on the rock face around the fireplace because she was hoping investigators would find it. There is also blood on the baby gate, which Lee moved to the back bedroom. She also stated that there might be blood on the base of the walls. Your Affiant has viewed photos of Berreth's residence and found a fireplace that matched the description Lee gave.

Sam is awesome, no doubt, but mistakes can happen. Either the AA is incorrect OR either Slater misspoke OR Sam misreported. I'm sure it will be cleared up at trial. I choose to believe it happened in the living room and if I'm wrong I'll eat crow. I don't like the taste of hats

The Arrest Warrant Affidavit clearly states that KKL said the murder occurred in the front part of the condo, while the baby was in the back room. Mary Longmire testified, in the last hearing, that the child had NOT witnessed a murder, in her professional opinion; which would seem to pit one prosecution witness directly against another. To make matters even more blurry, in the cause hearing the prosecution had Slater describe a security cam photo that he said he believed was PF at the door of the condo (without the baby). I haven't picked a horse in this race, so I'm anxiously awaiting the trial testimony. JMO

Again, you are quoting the arrest affidavit which isn't evidence. None of the testing on places KK pointed out to LE had been returned at the time of the preliminary hearing. All that had been tested and confirmed to belong to KB was in the bathroom and the testimony by CBI agent Slater confirmed it.

Thanks, Dave. I wasn't aware of Longmire's testimony. But folks do need to be careful because the Arrest Affidavit isn't evidence.

67. Frazee's ...... daughter, ..... ,was present in the residence when her mother was murdered by Frazee. Specifically, Frazee stated.....was inside a play pen in a back bedroom of the residence. Investigators were able to look at Frazee's historical cell site locations and found Frazee's phone was connected to a tower that would service Berreth's residence between the hours of approximately 13:00-16:30 on November 22, 2018. This information tends to support Lee's information about the location of Frazee on November 22, 2018. Furthermore, investigators located a child play pen at Berreth's residence.
