"you've got a mess to clean up"
sounds co -conspired to me.
there that's my end done...now your turn.

kk didn't do anything to suggest to anybody she was in deep doo doo and scared for her life.
she sneakily did everything she thought she could to cover her tracks of getting to Colorado incognito.

seeing her for real at the sonic window after she has cleaned up that crime scene.
the fact she had worked up an appetite.... comfortable with her actions imo
flicking her hair and checking her self in the mirror she did not appear like she had a care in the world.o_O

BBM. Yes, it does. KK also claimed PF threatened her child's life yet she did absolutely nothing to ensure her child's safety such as tell the child's father to be on heightened alert.

she was not afraid of PF.
as someone posted a few back sorry I forget who....
she flubbered the usual "oh I did it because I was scared " to save face.

I mean how do you put it out there. yep I wanted that 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 dead. I was all for it!!
she's not stupid......not by a long shot.

With all due respect, I'm going to have to disagree with you big time here.

KK is indeed stupid.

To throw your life away.....your children, the job you trained for, your self-respect.....might be the height of stupidity (and other words invented by GordianKnot!)

Others may differ and that's all good (and not stupid)......just different from my POV.

I'm going by what was reported from the preliminary hearing by reporter Sam Kraemer. The blood KB's mom found in the bathroom triggered a more thorough look at the bathroom and blood was detected in other places in the bath leading LE to believe it was KB's blood and it was the crime scene. I don't know how blood could have gone round the corner, down the hall and onto the fireplace unless it was intentionally planted there. At the prelim, the Slater said testing was not yet completed on the blood found in places KK said she left it.

DNA of another male was found in Kelsey's bathroom sink. If the bathroom is the crime scene and the male DNA found there isn't Frazee's then I don't believe it is a giant leap to assume someone else was solicited to kill KB.

Live blog: Patrick Frazee appears in court for preliminary hearing

3:31 p.m.
Defense points out the DNA of another male was found in Kelsey’s sink. Tests revealed it wasn’t that of Patrick Frazee.

3:02 p.m.
Slater says CBI agents were able to find areas where blood remained in Berreth’s townhome. That includes the fireplace and a nearby wall with a light switch. Again, that matches Kenney’s story. Slater says testing on those samples isn’t complete yet.

2:04 p.m.
Per Slater, Kenney says she purposely left blood spatter in certain areas of the house. That includes spots on the fireplace, a switch near the fireplace, and the baby gate that was leaning on the wall that leads upstairs. Why she did that? She told Slater she wanted police to find that and find her soon.

Kelsey's brother was in that apartment along with Kelsey's mother the day she discovered the blood...so yes, it was probably his DNA, and we will hear about it at trial. Also, please read what you posted. The article states Kenney purposely left blood. It does not say she placed it there! She left it there, as in she didn't clean it up!

It shows that in Colorado, everybody charged with murder is denied bail and has nothing to do with the judge's opinion of the evidence.

JMO

You are correct. But the judge said there was enough evidence to substantiate the charge of first degree murder! The judge read the evidence and agreed there was enough to make the charge.

I’m sure the prosecution is doing everything they can to figure out who that DNA belongs to.

Even if they don’t figure it out (which I actually think is quite likely), it won’t matter.

I can’t tell you how many cases I’ve followed where DNA evidence was found, that didn’t match the suspect or victim.

The evidence shows who committed this crime, and doesn’t leave room to point the finger at some phantom third party.

Besides that, I’m convinced the defense will point the finger at KK, which will render foreign DNA moot.

The arrest affidavit explicitly states that KK said the murder occurred in the living room, not in the bathroom.

Blood didn’t travel around any corner, and again, there is zero evidence it was planted.

Foreign DNA and fingerprints are found at just about every crime scene. Finding unknown DNA doesn’t prove anything.

BBM. The testimony of CBI Agent Slater says back office (which was right next to the bathroom.) Slater also testified the testing of suspected blood found in the living room was not completed.

Sam Kraemer @SamKraemerTV

The murder, according to Kenney (through Frazee), happened in a back office/second bedroom, Slater said. When Kenney went back to Frazee’s home, Slater says Frazee gave Kenney the cell phone. Kenney took Berreth’s purse & took it. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee

BBM. ITA agree because KK also told Agent Slater that she didn't believe KB was abusing her child.

Not exactly. The Judge said there was enough evidence to go to trial. A jury is going to decide guilt, not the judge. Even at the Preliminary hearing, the Judge said he had not even read all the search warrants yet.

No, it wasn't the brother's DNA.

11:27 a.m.

Slater said investigators collected swabs of Cheryl and Clint Berreth and they took a toothbrush, mouthguard and a bottle nipple from Kelsey’s bathroom. They said the blood returned with a high number, meaning investigators believe Kelsey Berreth’s blood was found in the bathroom.

11:25 a.m.

Slater said CBI agents and Woodland Park police returned to Berreth’s townhome on Dec. 6. They tested the bathroom using a chemical that reacts with blood that can’t be seen with the naked eye. Investigators said they found blood on the toilet, the outside of the bathtub, the bottom of the trash can, on the floor, on the vanity, on a wall near the toilet and on hinges in the bathroom.

The defense pointed it out at the Preliminary Hearing. He also got in that poisoning the Starbucks was KK's idea, not PF's. So KK continued to stalk and want to murder KB even though she didn't believe the baby was being abused.

Kudos to this reporter for being so observant.

4:00 p.m.

Defense points out Kenney said she didn’t think Kelsey was abusing Kaylee, but still drove to Kelsey’s townhome on multiple occasions to try to kill Kelsey Berreth.

I think she's seriously delusional. She told LE she found a tooth and threw it away. I'd like to know if it was found at PF's house.

Still, DNA of a male other than PF was found in the condo, and neither PF's DNA or his fingerprints were found. If KK cleaned up so well as to wipe away all traces of the killer, how does one explain KKL leaving all of the other samples that were presumptive positive?
Just asking. The question has bothered me for months, and I don't have an answer. JMO

Didn't KB's mom and dad stay at her condo after she "disappeared" and before they found the blood? I'm leaning towards the male DNA being that of KB's dad.
