We really dropped the ball by not starting a fundraising campaign for a new courthouse.

Every EMC order refers to the age of the courthouse as part of the reasoning.

Of course when I say “we dropped the ball,” I’m referring to @GordianKnot

The fact that it doesn’t work like that, notwithstanding.
Bolded and Redded by Me, the fact that "Redded" is not a word, nothwithstanding:

You misspelled, "mic."

Be that as it may.
Uh-Uh.
You can forget this idea.

I still haven't forgotten the last time you volunteered the royal "us" to spearhead a fundraising campaign:

I spent every Saturday for two months in that dumb school parking lot washing cars until my fingers bled. Meanwhile, there you were, scampering around on the playground in your #12 jersey with your Nerf ball clutched under your arm, yelling, "Green-Nineteen, Green-Nineteen, Rita! Rita! Rita!" the entire time.

Lesson. Learned.

Oh and if I were KK, just a gentle reminder- she might not want to visit that area again. Just in case she's caught speeding or something....

Well, she better be real careful, she's got to appear in court to testify during the trial.

I'm drawing a complete blank here...

I assume you're referring to Meghan G's gun, but what is the story about an unregistered car in three states? TIA

KK's friend's car, the VW Passat, had expired license tags, as well as the friend's gun in the vehicle. That was the vehicle KK drove to CO for her trip there to clean up KB's town home.

Cameras will not be allowed in the courtroom for the Patrick Frazee case later this month. A request for expanded media coverage was denied by the court. #KelseyBerreth @CBSDenver

Frazee trial Judge Scott Sells has just burst the balloon of every broadcast journalist covering the proceedings. He's denying cameras in the courtroom. Part of thte reason? The courthouse was built in 1904 and is "ill-suited for modern technology." #kelseyberreth #patrickfrazee

People v. Frazee: The Court issued two orders today - a decorum order for the 10/18 pretrial readiness conference, and an order DENYING the request for EMC. There will be no cameras in court or the courthouse for trial #KelseyBerreth courts.state.co.us/Courts/District/Case_Details.cfm?Case_ID=2867…

Well we’ve already seen what one CORRECTED Tweet led to.

We had a whole new crime scene, despite the evidence provided by the affidavit, the prosecutor, and the context of Slater’s testimony.

Just imagine that on a larger scale.
Gee, I don't recall that conversation. Can you refresh my memory, Said NO ONE EVER! Lol

I do recall an incident about picking up PF's truck but it had nothing to do with KK.

It was when PF's "father figure friend" was driving PF to pick up his truck, but they stopped at KB's condo to pick up package CB sent, and she asked PF to collect it. It was said to be the friend that went to KB's door, and PF waited in the truck. I believe friend also reporting seeing a utility tag on the door.

That's all I can think of that involved "PF picking up a truck," and "going to KB's condo."

Search warrants reveal new details in Kelsey Berreth case | East Idaho News

From the article:

<snip>
"According to documents, a UPS driver was seen dropping off a package at Kelsey Berreth’s home on a neighbor’s surveillance camera on Dec. 1. Two days later, an elderly man with white hair and white facial hair was seen picking up the package. The man was later identified as a friend of Frazee who approached detectives at the end of a news conference on Dec. 10.

He told detectives Frazee needed a ride from Woodland Park to his home in Florissant, Colorado. He said to investigators he was Frazee’s “best friend,” and “father figure,” knowing Frazee for decades. He also told investigators Frazee directed him to drive to Lake Avenue.

“Upon arriving, (the friend) further reported he instructed Patrick to remain in the vehicle while he (the friend) went to the front door and retrieved the package,” according to documents.

The friend told the detectives he wanted Frazee to stay in the vehicle so he would not be seen on the neighbor’s surveillance cameras. He said to investigators Frazee was not involved in the disappearance of Berreth but law enforcement should look into a Southwest Airlines pilot who Berreth formally dated." <snip>

Another witness whose testimony I look forward to. Such a loyal and faithful friend. Not so much to the airline pilot, though.

There was speculation that the murder took place in the backroom, which was first incorrectly reported, and that KK put blood there herself to stage the scene. Imo

When the trial starts, will a new thread open in the Trials section?

Who is going to fly to Colorado, GordianKnot or MassGuy?

I for one am very unused to sealed documents, sealed exhibits and a lack of public viewing. Any person in the courtroom can hear it, and that can be the general public, so why can the general public not hear it and view it?

I am not judging but simply saying it is a bit alien to me.

Hopefully they have done something about the acoustics and have a sound system or something...

Jmo.
Well I am judging, and feel free to rip me apart. The tax payers help fund this trial and support PF's needs in prison- food, shelter, medical care, etc. The tax payers ARE the public! They have a right to know what happened to Kelsey and who the characters are that partook in this heinous crime.

This is garbage. The could allow a few media outlets with cameras/mikes set up inside and put it on TV for those who want to watch- maybe some family members of Kelsey's who live far away and can't come would like to watch it at home or record it for after work to watch. Or even KK's and PF's families, not that I give a whiff about any of them, but I do realize some of the are innocent and had nothing to do with this crime.

Media is pretty good about letting other media outlets use their live streams, so they wouldn't need all media outlets inside, but let a couple in, dammit! They're not the ones that cause the commotions in the court room.

This is just outrageous to me.

You won't get any judgment from me, I think it is BS myself. I couldn't have said it better. If nothing else, they could use one fixed camera pointed at for instance, the judge, or somewhere else with audio and have it shared outlet to outlet. Any person from the public could be in that courtroom.

I simply stated no judgment in my post because I am not so familiar with Colorado law but I don't agree with it nor the secrecy of documents, etc.

Most players are public servants and law and order is in the interest of the victims and then the public or it is how I feel but these days it seems to be all in favor of the defendant and fear of years of appeals.

Thank you! I don't recall the expired tags at all, and couldn't find this incident in the warrant section that describes KK borrowing the black VW, and MG's account about her altered gun.

Last I recall, Idaho is one of those states where your license tags identify the county you live in (like area codes in the old days)...

I know MG was moving at the time, and asked to borrow KK's truck for the move. There's 30 day grace period post expiration -- perhaps MG postponed renewal for her new address.

The statement by Slater I'm referring to is under Nov. 24th in the timeline and he specifically identifies PF and KK going back to the townhouse to pick up his truck. It's just one of those things that doesn't add up and I'm not sure it even matters. I just hate loose ends and I'm guessing this case has a few of them :)

I remember it and in talking with friends it is something I often bring up. It is a loose end and it was odd and only mentioned without much explanation. Hopefully many of these things will become clear as a preliminary does not tell all... I personally think they were back to the condo or he met her there, etc., etc. Maybe took Krystal's borrowed car because it was not "known". Hard to say.

It nags at me too though.

Yes, maybe at some point they met there later. Maybe after they met at the gas station, he left his truck at the condo rather than leaving it at the gas station to do God knows what.
Didn't Kelsey also have a truck or wasn't there a vehicle they shared or something?
Are first we didn't know who it was registered to and it turned out it was in Kelsey's mother's name?
It's been so long I don't remember. But I thought there was a vehicle that was believed to be in both their names at first. Imo

I think they shared the green Toyota. Her truck was in her mother's name and hers I believe.

This was the night wasn't it where they were going to move the "tote and body"? I am wondering if they did not pick up at the Franch or have another truck of PF's at Nash... There was mention of a work truck, etc. a white truck, a red truck... They then went back later to the condo to get his red truck...?

I have no idea but the statement stays with me constantly.

Jmo.

ETA: Green Toyota car.
