Yes, that's an excellent and horrifying interview.

I would add that it was the most insight we've had into the monster that Patrick Frazee is.

So court TV is back on the air...I hope hope they cover this trial. I don't remember if cameras are allowed for this one or not..does anyone know? If so, I have their app on my phone and will be streaming.

In Colorado, only arraignments and advisements shall be considered by the Court for expanded media coverage (EMC) for criminal trials. As such - that's where our phrase "trial by twitter" came from.

Rule 3 of Chapter 38 of the Colorado Supreme Court Rules explicitly lays out in subsection (3) that, “[n]otwithstanding an authorization to conduct expanded media coverage of a proceeding, there shall be no: (a) expanded media coverage...
in criminal cases, except advisements and arraignments[.]”, emphasis added.

KK part 2:

I was so terrified of PF that I was also able to let my guard down enough to take a nap after all that driving and activity while still in his presence.
I was SO terrified I could only eat at Sonic immediately after cleaning up a days old crime scene full of blood all over the refrigerator and dislocated teeth on the floor.
(sorry y'all ....just can't drop that one..)

I can't argue with anything you said because I agree with you 100%. I completely forgot about her going with her best friend to party in LV. How any normal person could so such a thing, is beyond comprehension. If that was me that stupidly agreed to do the clean up and then help burn the body, I'd be a sobbing mess- probably be committed, I would never forgive myself for partaking in such a thing- never mind party! We have more than one psycho here, in my opinion.
Yeah Party Hearty...gamble and knock back some shots after you clean up knocked out teeth from the floor of a murder scene and watch a body burn all.day.long. Sounds super fun (rolls eyes). People who are supposedly terrified for their own safety do that all of the time don'tcha know.

Nothing ruins some people's appetite...

Most of us cannot even imagine... The very thought makes us sick... The cleanup of a young innocent mother's blood, the burning of her corpse...

Allegedly the smell of a burning corpse is like nothing else. And that with these two apparently triggers a craving for pizza.

Yah, she was really terrified. NOT.

You absolutely canNOT tell me mama F could not tell that was just some regular bonfire smell..there's no way it could smell like anything normal. I hope they put granny on the stand

KK said Mama F was on the porch, and mama F was prepared to take the Fifth if called during the preliminary hearing.

I think she not only smelled something, but she knows some things.

They have to call her.

And she will have to testify, right? She can't plead the fifth during the trial, can she?

Well according to KK's best friend 4-EVA, KK had a great reason for doing or not doing what she did. I guess all that hard work built up a need for carbs and protein and a nap.

She can unfortunately. If she thinks she is in legal jeopardy, she will continue to plead the Fifth.

The only way she couldn’t, is if she were to be given immunity from prosecution.

I think if I was on the jury and she plead the 5th, that would tell me all that I need to know about her character as well as her son's. Where he got his character, too. I know we can't say much about her on here as she's not a suspect in the crime, but in my opinion, she was an accomplice- after at the very least, and possibly before, too.

Yes. I can’t wait to hear this really good reason for attempting to carry out murder on 3 occasions, cleaning a crime scene, misleading an investigation, and allowing Kelsey to be murdered.

“I was scared” doesn’t cut it, and never will.

Yup. She pleads the Fifth, and it’s bad for her son. If she tells the truth, it’s probably worse.

I think her memory is going to suddenly fail her.

Lots of “I don’t recall.”

Don't forgot, too- she was ssssssssssssoooooooooo distressed!

How distressed was she, Steels?

She was ssssoooooo distressed that she went out to LV after and partied with her BFF, probably high fiving each other that the deeds were done and KK had her happily ever after coming soon.

*Gag*

If I could hit the "like" button for this 10 times I would.

I always find this tricky in criminal trials. For example, in criminal trial, a defendant can exercise the 5th and not testify at trial, and jurors cannot use their right not to testify against them in deciding their guilt or innocence.

However, if a defendant takes the 5th on the stand, they cannot selectively testify -- choosing to answer some questions, and not others.

At a criminal trial -- witnesses can also take the 5th Amendment, and refuse to answer certain questions if answering would implicate them in any type of criminal activity (not limited to the case being tried).

However -- unlike a defendant -- a witness can selectively choose which questions to answer, and which not to answer.

(A defendant cannot be forced to take the stand -- but a witness may be forced by law to testify by subpoena). Again -- not forced to incriminate themselves.

MOO

ETA: I watch a lot of organized crime trials where witnesses often take the 5th Amendment, and will still answer some questions.

Thank you. It will be interesting to see what she does. Even more interesting to hear what she has to say.

I believe SF will be selective with her testimony: she certainly won't pass up her chance to tout what a fantastic son and father PF is, but will invoke the 5th for every question posed to her by the prosecutor. MO
