Do you see gloating? Happy and arrogant, primping her hair?
Yes, as a matter of fact she was primping her hair. Better go back and watch Sonic again.
Yes, she was arrogant. Definition is self assertive or self serving. KK is totally self serving.
Don't get me started on her gloating.
As for happy, you'll have to ask her yourself......

I went back to the front page and looked for a sonic vid but I don't see one....hate to ask but does somebody have one where you can see her primping her hair at the sonic? Is that what she did or am I misunderstanding?
so confused....omg and how did she keep all of that mess of hair out of the crime scene she was cleaning up? yuk!
Trying to understand multiple dumb@sses is really confusing. :/

Response to inquiry on how KOAA will cover the trial

We'll publish reports on our website as we can -- so likely at lunchtime and then at the end of the day. We'll have live reports in most shows. Reporters cannot live-report while court is in session, basically.

I don't think I ever saw it at all back when it was posted. I thought at one time there was a video that wasn't verified to be KK that was removed.
I can't remember now but either way I would also like to see the one that is being discussed.

Media blitz expected for Patrick Frazee trial; national attention not new for Teller County
As the proprietor of a business advertising free water with healing powers in the heart of downtown Woodland Park, WH can’t help but get his fill of gossip from customers about the upcoming trial of Patrick Frazee.

But the dust devil the Frazee case has kicked up which begins Monday with at least four days of jury selection has nothing on the media maelstrom that snared WH back in 2001, he says.

[...]

Residents of the nearby town of Cripple Creek, about a 40-minute drive from Woodland Park, might disagree come Monday, when the media crush returns.

[...]

Opening statements are on pace for Friday or Monday, Nov. 4, and media outlets are expected to provide blanket coverage.

[...]

“It’s a rural area, and stuff like this doesn’t happen all the time,” said BW, 52, who lives in the same subdivision as Frazee between Divide and Florissant. “This has been the talk of the town for the last year.”

[...]

Another case that put Teller County under a microscope came in 1992, when 15-year-old Jacob Ind fatally shot and stabbed his parents as they slept in their home in an upscale subdivision of Woodland Park.

[...]

The Frazee case has divided Teller County’s notoriously independent residents.

Several people who knew Frazee and grew up with him told The Gazette they can’t believe he did it, and pin blame instead on Frazee’s mistress, Krystal Kenney, who is expected to serve as a key witness against him.

Cripple Creek is a town well-known to Frazee and his family. Those who don’t know him personally generally know someone who does.

[...]

“Personally, I think he’s getting shafted somewhere,” said JM, 84, who knew Frazee from the 2 Mile High Club. “I don’t think he’s that kind of guy. And that is the general opinion on the street in Cripple Creek. He’s a decent, normal guy.”

[...]

“We hope they fry his 🤬🤬🤬,” said DW, 52, a Teller County resident of 26 years, even though prosecutors are not seeking the death penalty. “We don’t like people treating our women like that up here. (In) Teller County, we like to think of ourselves as old-fashioned America.”

[...]

“Even if he comes out of this not guilty, he won’t be able to live in this town,” the bartender said. “There’s no way. They will run him out of here.”

[...]

Updates from inside the courthouse will be sparse. A judge has banned any live-reporting from the trial, including the use of Twitter to report on testimony.

Reporters will be able to file dispatches during just a few windows during testimony: morning break, lunch break and afternoon break. Anyone leaving to alert the public to breaking news — or to use the bathroom — will be barred from reentry until after the next break.

[...]

In this town of 1,200 people, some people wonder if jury summonses issued across Teller County for the trial could outnumber the town’s population.

[...]

“We live up here for people like that to stay away — for people who are up to no good to stay away,” she said.

Kelsey Berreth Murder: Jury Selection In Patrick Frazee Trial Begins Monday

"Investigators spoke to three other people besides Lee, according to the affidavit. Each claimed to know details about a plan Frazee was developing to kill Berreth. It is unclear whether any of the interviewees could have prevented the murder contacting law enforcement before police started the search for her."

So who are the other three?

I love newspaper reports that contain the phrase "the bartender said". We just don't see as many of them,as we used to, back in the day. JMO

KK's friend and the two lawyers she confided in would surely be testifying.
It seems clear to me that they could have spoken up and changed everything.

Defense plans to point finger at Idaho nurse in Kelsey Berreth slaying

Sept 18, 2019

Defense attorneys for a Colorado man accused of beating his fiance to death with a baseball bat indicated in court filings Tuesday that they will seek to lay the blame for the young woman's murder on an Idaho woman who was having an affair with the suspect.

[...]

The filing, titled "Endorsement of Defenses and Witnesses" was filed one day past the deadline for lawyers to present an alternate suspect to the judge who will preside over 32-year-old Patrick Frazee's murder trial in October.

As a result of the missed deadline, it is unclear whether the judge will allow the defense to try to convince jurors that it was Krystal Lee Kenney of Hansen, rather than Frazee, who killed 29-year-old Kelsey Berreth of Woodland Park, Colorado.

[...]

"....it is anticipated that as part and parcel to general denial, there may be evidence that other individuals committed or fabricated portions of the crimes alleged against Mr. Frazee, to include Krystal Lee," the filing reads.

[...]

According to Kenney's interview with investigators, Frazee beat his fiance to death on Thanksgiving while their 1-year-old daughter was confined in a playpen in another room. Frazee is accused of tying a sweater around Berreth's face as a blindfold under the guise of having her guess the scent of different candles, then hitting her repeatedly in the head with a baseball bat.

[...]

She also told police she collected bloodstained pillows, books, baby toys, stuffed animals and other possessions, which Frazee and Kenney later burned along with Berreth's body, according to investigators.

Later, in an attempt to throw off detectives, Kenney took Berreth's handgun and cell phone with her back to Idaho, sending Frazee text messages from the phone pretending to be his fiance, police say. She said she then burned the cell phone in her front yard.

LOL, now, which one of us didn't see THAT coming?

Yes. The only way to understand PF, is either stick your head in a blender, or drink near fatal levels of alcohol.

The way he discussed murdering Kelsey with KK (hitting her in the head with a blunt object), makes me think that this guy didn’t understand how much force that takes, and how much blood there would be.

I think that when he was done, he probably had no idea what to do. It appears that he actually made an effort to clean the scene with baby wipes.

Which sounds like exactly the type of thing this moron would do.

That first sentence sent water up my nose- thanks. Unfortunately, it didn't help me understand PF, but it sure cleaned up my sinus passage ways!

The saddest thing about all of this is that I think he's convinced that he's going to walk free.

I really wish this was televised. I would love to see the defense try to pin this on KK and the prosecution prove otherwise. Darn....we should have been journalists.

  • #776
these people all have guns for heavens sake.

it would have been far more human for him to have shot her in the head out in that paddock the night before.

moo
I'd love for PF to explain to us all how he would expect us to believe that someone came in to burglarize Kelsey, and told her to "hold on a moment while we wrap a scarf around your eyes so you can smell some candles".

<snipped for focus>

No. That’s the best thing about all of this.

PF standing there, convinced the jury is about to render a verdict of “not guilty,” and then he gets sucker punched in the gut. “We the jury find the defendant, Patrick Frazee, guilty of the count of murder in the first degree.” Then 7 other guilty verdicts will be read.

Of course he’ll show no emotion, because he’s every part the “evil robot” that Chris Watts was.

I am really glad that Kelsey's Mom got at least one last phone call with her on Thanksgiving. This is going to be so hard for them. They have shown amazing restraint and class.

I don't know how CB is going to be able to take the stand and not want to tackle PF. It just seems so cruel, that in order for Kelsey to get justice, that her mother has to take the stand and be in the same room as that demon varmint from hell.

Oh, she’ll tackle him alright. Except it won’t be some frivolous physical effort on her part. She’ll get to drive a nail straight into his coffin on the stand.

It's so weird to think that after a few more Mondays we'll see justice for Kelsey and her family and they'll be able to begin the healing process.

I remember Holly Bobo's mother saying she saw her husband smile for the first time in years when the verdict was read.

I pray that the rest of this family's days are spent laughing at BabyK and comparing her antics to those of her mother as a child.

God bless them and help all of us to be kind to each other and avoid swinging verbal bats at those who disagree with our musings. May there be a plethora of forgiveness for past snipes.

Here's to Monday and Justice! Cowboy's going down!
