CO - Kimberlee Singler, 35, charged w/murder of her children, girl, 9 & boy, 7, injuring third child, age 11, CO Springs, 19 Dec 2023

This case really pizzes me off!!! Coming up on two years and she’s still sitting on her azz in the UK. It shouldn’t pay for a murderer to jump on a plane and flee the US to avoid prosecution. Yet here we are and she’s still winning 😡🤬😡
Same!!

It’s like that man Nicholas Rossi who faked his death and fled the US after being charged with rape. He fled in 2020 and his identity was discovered in Scotland in late 2021. He fought extradition and it wasn’t until January 2025 that he was FINALLY sent back to the US. Infuriating!

As of 6/22/25 she is no longer listed in the Colorado court site.

And NOT finding anything about her extradition... anyone else have better luck than me? Last "latest" article coming up for me is March 20, 2025. :(

We know Singler filed an appeal end of March, and if the High Court fails to move the appeal forward, she still has the option of appealing to the Supreme Court and/or the U.K.'s highest court.

The Appellate Court in the US can take a year or more to render a decision, and I doubt this would be any faster in the UK! I expect we might have an update in March 2026. The good news is we are only waiting on the higher court to agree with the lower court's decision to return her to the US.

Addressing Singler in court, Judge Zani said: “Ms Singler, I’m afraid I have rejected a challenge to your extradition. The case now passes to the secretary of state [Yvette Cooper] for a decision on whether extradition is to be ordered.

“You have the right to ask the high court for permission to appeal against my decision and to appeal against the secretary of state’s decision.”

Singler was arrested in Kensington, west London, by officers from the UK’s National Crime Agency in December 2023.

The bodies of two of Singler’s children were found with stab and gunshot wounds at their home in Colorado Springs after reports of a burglary. Colarado police later said the reports of a burglary turned out to be unfounded.

Police said Singler initially cooperated with officers but disappeared during the investigation.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KOAA) — A Colorado Springs woman accused of drugging and killing her two children back in December 2023 will be sent back to the United States after a judge in London ruled in favor of her extradition, according to our partners at NBC London.
[.....]
Singler has been fighting extradition back to the U.S. while in UK territory, with her representation claiming that sending Singler back to the U.S. would breach Article 3 of the European Convention of Human Rights.
[.....]
In Singler's court appearance Thursday morning, her representation claimed that there were flaws in the investigation by Colorado Springs Police, including the claim that her daughter's witness statement was non-voluntary.

Despite Singler's arguments, the judge ruled in favor of the extradition. It is unclear when she will be extradited to the U.S.

In January of this year, a U.K. judge ruled that Singler could be extradited the U.S. Following that ruling, Singler’s attorney indicated he planned to appeal to the High Court.

Friday, the Crown Prosecution Service confirmed with 11 News that Singler went before the High Court this week for permission to appeal, which was denied.

“Defence have indicated an intention to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights,” the Crown Prosecution Service said in an email to 11 News.

No timetable for when or if that appeal will occur has been provided.

Well, it took 11 months for the Secretary of State to deny Singler's request (not to extradite), and now she gets to appeal the Secretary's decision! I trust the European Court of Human Rights won't need this long to reject her cause. She's at no risk of death, and her argument that her child's witness statement was non-voluntary is more than weak! JMO
