No wonder CO officials will never solve the multiple shooting case. See this below from the same article. You would think they would want to be involved to learn if there may be a connection. One thing I can guarantee. Their shooter did not just disappear from the face of the earth. He is somewhere.

Weld county is north from where most of our shootings occured but still. It seems to me they would want to learn about any similar type shootings to see if they can find any connection to arrest their perp.

I mean what else would they be doing if they dont even want to do this sort of thing. They may as well disband and give up.

Yea I knew that Supreme Court decision would start to make this happen.

Of all cases where our judges bleeding hearts think to give someone a second chance just because they were young when they committed murder this is not the case I would consider allowing the offender leniency.

If you cant do the time then dont do the crime. Especially murder of 10 people. Good Grief.

I was wondering if you had seen that news about the AZ arrest. I wonder if there are any similarities between the two situations?

It sounds like that AZ arrest was a serial killer but different than the AZ highway shooter. So if i am reading it right it sounds like they still have not caught the guy who did those random highway shootings in AZ.

If true then it means both the AZ and CO highway shooters have never been caught yet. I always wondered if the two were maybe related and I suppose it could be possible given the location is not too awful far away and I think the CO shootings had almost stopped when the AZ highway shootings started.

Stephen Rich, 48, of Loveland, was shot by several officers after he allegedly fired his gun near Namaqua Park at around 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said they were investigating an attempted traffic stop and crash in the area at the time."

"WELD COUNTY - A truck driver who initial reports indicated had died after he was run over by his own vehicle last month had actually been shot, the Weld County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

Deputies first learned about the incident at around 3:20 p.m. on May 18. They received a call about a possible fatal traffic accident in the area of Weld County Road 136 and Weld County Road 77 west of Hereford."

"The Weld County Sheriff’s office says it does not believe this case is connected to a series of mysterious shootings that happened in northern Colorado two years ago.

They left two people dead and one person hurt near the I-25 corridor.

The task force set up to investigate the shootings is aware of what happened here but is not involved in this investigation."

The task force seems to have eliminated a connection pretty fast IMO. Do they already have a suspect in mind? Perhaps one that is behind bars for something else? Or just different caliber weapon? Pondering...

I think it's probable the perp(s) live in Wyoming, if not out in the country, and if not related to gang activity But who knows.

It's been over 2 years since Jacoby and Connolle were killed.

A) Gang Activity
B) A Nutjob(s) possibly coming in from Wyoming OR
C) Lives in the boonies somewhere around here

Probably off who knows I'm baffled and obviously so is everyone else.
