Where I live people can object to you filming you on your own property without your consent.
They can be ordered to point their cameras away from your property.

Not a problem here.

What if you live in a building or house at an intersection with a traffic cam?
The state I live in is not going to change the view, and most of our traffic cams can be moved in any direction at any time.

How close did CW live to his friends that he stayed with? I am wondering if they had video that might have captured any evidence? Could part of his behavior they found disturbing have included his resistance to them reviewing any video evidence they may have had at their own home?

They are public places. A neighbour does not have the right to monitor your comings and goings on your own property.
It would not worry me, but others think that it is an invasion of their privacy.

I do too because her suitcase and shoes were at the bottom of the stairs.

and this post take me to the Arrest Affidavit. It stated that her purse was on the counter, her phone tucked on the loft couch. Then suitcase and women shoes. My question,; was it usual for her to leave her shoes at the stairs bottom or did she had a mudroom area or metal tray for shoes on the first floor?

I don't think it is SA. And CW is not the only one to protect. It might be something totally different.

The only thing to protect is the integrity of the trial. Autopsy reports are usually only sealed when it would hinder an ongoing investigation like in the case of an unsolved murder where they withhold evidence to avoid false confessions. If they have already arrested and charged someone for the crime, they are only worrying about the trial.

My husband had coal tatts, when there was a minor fall that caused abrasions the dust would stay there and be visible after they had healed.

BTW, I have visited the coal mine only once, it was a working mine but we had an "excursion". It was scary to walk to the actual mining place, the shaft was very narrow and the transporter/conveyor belt seemed to be running fast. (I don't know the proper name of it, it is the transporter lifting the coal to the surface). The time of the walk was not included into the actual working time, so while we could take our time, the miners needed to walk fast. Anyhow, dangerous and very hard work, all I can say.

His whole demeanor during the interviews was the antithesis of what you would expect to see from someone who was out of his mind with worry. I've seen many murderers put on academy award winning performances when they're appealing to the public for help, including tears, but he can't because he's a psychopath. Psychopaths have a lack of feelings or concern for the losses, pain, and suffering of victims, a tendency to be unconcerned, dispassionate, cold-hearted, and non-empathic.

And very well paid, at least where I live. When I married, in 1967 I was earning $40 a week and my husband could earn up to $1,100 a week.

I’m actually monitoring my property and I have a right to do that.
I’m sure other people in the Watts neighborhood had video doorbells and video cameras. And they might have even linked with neighbors thru Nest or Ring or the other brands. That is an option.

They were already out of his life. Gone. Forgotten. He was ready for the next episode of his life.

Do you have the right to monitor other people's properties?

When I saw that her suitcase and her shoes were down on the first floor, it made me think she was hoping to quietly come in and not wake anyone.

He leaked so much of his own truth while trying to lie on the porch interviews, I cannot get the phrase out of my mind where he said he looked a the baby monitor and saw BW sprawled out and blue on the bed and thinnking God forbid SW did get to bed, barely standing upright from the conditions mentioned above, and looked over to see BW. .

snipped & BBM

I think CW leaked alot of truth in his lies on the porch interviews. IMO, he's ad-libbing. He may have reiterated the same thoughts in the different interviews, but I don't think it's a memorized speech. Was it even his idea to give the interviews, or was he put on the spot?

IMO, CW was trying to convince the viewers he was concerned, but he kept inserting his thoughts of the events that transpired in those last few days. It came across as a jumbled mess. JMO.

"Barrel rush" was one of CW's phrases that stood out to me (after his confession).

The actual events, surrounding his disposal of the bodies, and then going to work that morning, must have felt very 'final' to him. Like he was done, the end of the story. Boy ,was he wrong.

Do you have the right to monitor other people's properties?
You do generally do, as long as they don’t have “a reasonable expectation of privacy” in the area in which the camera is oriented.

So in most cases, a camera that captures a neighbor’s yard is fine, but one that peers into their house, obviously would not be.

I also think there are two minor children being considered. Many states keep these (minor autopsy) confidential -- and Colorado just missed being one of them.

@PrimeSuspect

“There's just been pages and pages of character assassination against SW and the 'ol' CW says she did it', so she must have!

I find it difficult to relate when some choose SW's fb as evidence of something sinister while CW gets a free ride because he was thought of as a nice guy.

It's like what CW did somehow makes sense or was understandable, in what universe is this possible?"

His parallel universe.

Haaa exactly. It’s been quiet on that front tonight.

It still surprises me that he didn't even seem to try to look worried or concerned about his missing family. If he had just limited the entire discussion to pix of the family, and how worried he is, and what he is doing to help organize the searches etc, he would have looked much less suspicious.
