I wonder why that night as well.
Theories on here seem to point to him wanting to get rid of her. Wouldn’t he be happy if she is finally leaving?
I figured he wanted them gone because he would not have to pay child support. If she was the one making more money and they got shared custody, he may have ended up with getting child support from her.
I think five weeks on his own was a lot of fun for him. She may have said some snide things to him and he snapped. He probably fantasized getting rid of her for a long time and he didn’t like what she said. Then when done with her, he moved in to get rid of the ither hassles in his life. Freedom. Finished.
Family annihilators are selfish creatures, IMO. It's not enough to be separated from their family, they want their family to be GONE. It's not quite as cut and dry as not wanting to pay child support or alimony, it's more about how they want to pretend their family never existed in the first place so they have to wipe them out. I listened to a FBI profiler speak about this once. It's like they are so detached emotionally from their family members that they no longer see them as actual human beings, they are simply objects that belong to the perp. And when they're finished with those objects, or think they're somehow in the way, they simply get rid of them. If they were separated and lived in different states, the wife/kids would still exist so they'd still be a problem, even if it was just on an emotional or psychological level. Obviously it doesn't make sense to people like us, but it does happen.
