I wonder why that night as well.

Theories on here seem to point to him wanting to get rid of her. Wouldn’t he be happy if she is finally leaving?

I figured he wanted them gone because he would not have to pay child support. If she was the one making more money and they got shared custody, he may have ended up with getting child support from her.

I think five weeks on his own was a lot of fun for him. She may have said some snide things to him and he snapped. He probably fantasized getting rid of her for a long time and he didn’t like what she said. Then when done with her, he moved in to get rid of the ither hassles in his life. Freedom. Finished.

Family annihilators are selfish creatures, IMO. It's not enough to be separated from their family, they want their family to be GONE. It's not quite as cut and dry as not wanting to pay child support or alimony, it's more about how they want to pretend their family never existed in the first place so they have to wipe them out. I listened to a FBI profiler speak about this once. It's like they are so detached emotionally from their family members that they no longer see them as actual human beings, they are simply objects that belong to the perp. And when they're finished with those objects, or think they're somehow in the way, they simply get rid of them. If they were separated and lived in different states, the wife/kids would still exist so they'd still be a problem, even if it was just on an emotional or psychological level. Obviously it doesn't make sense to people like us, but it does happen.

The premeditated issue seems obvious, given there are more than one person killed. After the first death, the decision was made to keep going.

You’re making the assumption he killed the children.

IMO he was getting rid of the sheets not because there was something on them, but because he realized he’d left the matching sheet behind at the burial site & didn’t want it to be matched to anything in the home.
I agree, that would be one of the reasons and even more likely, one of a few. Murders were committed, the bedding is important evidence and CW isn't that stupid. jmo

This is a good theory. We don't know (yet) if there is some type of evidence on the bedding found in the garbage. It is entirely possible it was placed there in between when LE was there the first time, and when they came back with a search warrant. Regardless of the reason/timing, he felt the need to dispose of them.

JMO....there is no value in the videos. They are snippets of time in their life before any of this happened....just like any of us right now. What ever happened that night is far removed from their past. IMO the girls were already dead when she returned home. She dropped her suitcase, kicked off her shoes, and planned to go to bed but was ambushed quickly and did not see her unfortunate fate. So sad of an outcome for everyone.

Agreed, which IMO is not enough for me to categorically say he is guilty of killing the girls.

Can we agree that one of those 2 parents killed the girls?

And if so, what makes one believe it was more likely SW than it was CW that killed them?

@Mrspratcher @gitana1 @Amandaaa,

In advance, I apologize if anyone has already covered this.

IF CW takes a plea deal, will the public ever know what evidence LE, FBI, CBI, etc. had?
IF the coroner's report is released, will it be redacted for names attached to finger prints, foot prints, etc.?
IF CW takes a plea deal, will we ever know the truth (yes, that is subjective I realize)?
Thank you.

I would say it's more likely CW killed them. All I'm saying is I'm not ready to rule SW out just yet.

You’re making the assumption he killed the children.
Since we've been talking about the evidence that he killed the children, what do you think the credible evidence is that he did not kill them? So far I can only see the word of CW, which is not credible IMO (and he has good reason to lie again).

You’re making the assumption he killed the children.

An assumption based on the charges filed against him, his dishonesty in regards to her disappearance, and his actions following their deaths.

Yes, we are like LE is. He, her murderer and proven liar is the only one who has accused her.

Posters are saying that he would not like to be the guy known as leaving his pregnant wife. I see that people seem to accept adultry while wife is pg ,so I do not think that he would be concerned about it
I agree that he wouldn't want to be known as someone who cheated on his pregnant wife. If he was okay being known as that kind of guy, then I imagine he would have just left, but instead, he killed his family.
MOO

I wonder what they want to get back by wiping the families out? Because to me it seems to be about own image that in their mind is tarnished by their own families. It is as if their families never existed, they'd go back in time.

Only CW back in time was overweight, odd and could not get a spouse.

I wonder is SW made a huge mistake, psychologically, when she tried her jokes on him, and much worse, made that video telling how she did not like him at first and how he followed her? There is something in the video that made me think she married him only when she got sick with lupus.

In CW's eyes, now he was thin, sexy and able to get relationships, lots of them. And she remembered him the way he used to be. And told the world about it. Moreover, it was obvious that SW with her perfectionism turned him into a handsome, cute Chris.

Maybe he deleted his FB not to see her posts? Not because of anyone else? Because SW, alive, could always say, "when I met him, he was an overweight, awkward, inexperienced dude, I made him into what he is now"?

Well that’s not exactly a leap.

It’s not. And if you don’t want to look at both possibilities, I suppose that’s your prerogative. Some of us here want to look at both scenarios until we know more. JMO
