I've said I believe that is a possibility. He may have planned to kill everyone and them maybe hang himself but he chickened out, hence the bad job in doing every thing else he did afterward.
If that was the case would CW not have made a suicide note in advance of murdering his family? What about the dog? If CW had planned to kill everyone and then himself, would he not have done something with the family dog too? maybe give the dog away, let it out of the house to roam or killed the dog too?
Either way, if CW planned to murder his family and kill himself after, it is premeditated murders.

Anadarko to plug, abandon wells east of Longmont
Is this the site of the bodies ? Just wondering bc they were abandoned and if he knew that
He worked there, so did mistress so I’m assuming that he knew this and that is WHY he took them there. I think he intended to throw them all into the oil but he couldn’t get SW up the stairs. I’m sure that was a blow to his inflated ego - since he had become such a fit and muscular Thriver.

It is if you did it to keep her from killing your children. If his story is true, he pretty much had a "get of of jail free" card. All he had to so was call 911, report that he'd found her killing their children and he killed her. His story doesn't make sense.
Especially if calling 911 might reveal that the TOD of the mother was "before" the TOD of the kids.

And maybe he accidentally slipped and fell in his mistress too.
Good thing he can’t access this thread. That might strike him as a really stellar defense.

Her father had been taking care of the children for a week while they were in California on a Thrive trip. There are/were videos and posts during this time. When they returned they went back to NC with her Dad, so he could have paid for it. Not sure if CW went that first week or some other week during her 6 week stay???
Her mother’s friends at beauty shop said they were definitely separating ... there’s a video of woman who works with her mother stating this.
But, they had to pay 50% of California (any) business trip - per Thrive agreement, I read.
Plus, trip to Arizona and all those other trips that they certainly couldn’t afford.
This is a “fake it until you make it” Thrive theme, even if it puts you into debt, it will be worth it in a few months ... but, it wasn’t worth it, and I think it played a part in the murders.

I agree

One fact that I haven’t seen mentioned (and forgive me if it has been) CW is twice the size of SW. If he came into the room while she was strangling their baby girl all he would have had to have done would have been to whack her extra hard, and she’d go flying across the room.

You do incite “emotion” in many of us (which I actually enjoy) lol but I still can’t decide if you’re working for the prosecution or the defense!

CW is a liar. He definitely lied on TV, probably lied about his defense and who knows what else. Forensics will tell the truth. He should have walked away.

Oh my god, knock off the anti-SAHM posts as if we're leeches that don't contribute to our households.

It's not even subtle. It's a jerk thing to do/say. Period.

(O/T, I just had a married man hit on me and with this case fresh on my mind believe me when I tell you I just reemed him a new one)
This made me LOL

His story of killing the mother in a fit of rage after she killed their babies is taken right out of the movie Shutter Island. The only difference is the method in which they died. Imaginative one, this guy.

He did so poorly...
He had to have at least a little time to clean up.
He did not have to give video interviews/statements to the public.
He may not have had time/opportunity to hide the bodies anywhere else or at any other time.

IMO... he should have called in sick, then claimed LATER that is was because his wife and kids had left.

I think he realized about the neighbors cameras ruining just about any story he came up with a little late.

It was just one big cluster- you know what.

Hiya,
But did it really? OR MLM SM posts depend on her being RELATABLE to current or potential clients?

IMO, relatable which includes complaint about your husband snoring, laundry left a foot from the hamper, etc. They RELY on being relateable, not perfect, IMO.

Very good thought! Relatable makes sense. The point remains that she would still do just fine with her business, even as a single mom. She is outgoing and I think people would still relate to her quite well.

I think CW put each girl in a separate oil tank because he wanted to dissipate the decomposition smells between two oil tanks. It took a lot more time and effort to put them in separate tanks then to put them in one tank. It was a deliberate decision he made and one that he had to have considered well in advance of the crime. Also, with one child in each oil tank, less chance of blockage or anomalies in the tanks JMO.

CW could not have been panicking too much because he took the time to put the girls in separate tanks. He had enough where with all to think that part through so I don't buy he was overcome with grief and snapped.

Oh man. I accidentally strangled 2 toddlers and a pregnant woman to death. Oopsie.

Ridiculous and disgusting.

Moo

Appears that way to me...

it might also be being with someone where acceptance is felt - with someone that has a consistent paycheck which can allow a calmer existence than paying for a lexus he does not care about

he was fine and and happy in an old truck and some shorts

did not seem like he was into expensive clothes furnishings cars

:p:p
Time to come up with some really poor Defense suggestions for them.

I wonder if we can come up with anything even more incredible than his own "confession" of what happened that night.

( am joking )

We all make choices in life. If he didn't want to support a wife and two (soon to be three) children he didn't have to, and he could have found a way out that didn't involve murdering anyone.

the grave was described as shallow and easily located -- an an indicator of panic and rush

it doubtful based on LE reports that grave was very easily located

so I am not sure the notion of never being found would work -- out in the sun would stink i would think
I think an oil tank is an absolutely brilliant place to dispose of a murdered corpse, and I think he planned to put her in a tank, too, at a later date. I think the sun came up, he ran out of time, and drove to a remote location, where he wouldn’t get caught, and dug a temporary burial site.
