I think that maybe this story serves as a warning to young, and not-so-young, people who like sexting? Everything might be out in the open, one day, all the details, all your quirks, all your lives. No one is immune. People have the right to privacy, but only to a certain extent. Be careful of what you type.

And while I think that not everyone is blessed with Lauren Bacall's sexy voice and beautiful laughter, these "creepy giggles",mostly, reflect the tiredness of the investigators. After all, these are the same LEs who had to type "juvenile is in a diaper, the body totally covered in oil". The same LEs who had to deal with the sordid, scary consequences of this affair. I really feel sorry for them.

0905 hours- Watts called Ann Meadows (realtor) and held a three minute forty second conversation.

1227 hours - Meadows told Watts, "hi, I'm working on your market analysis - I would like to bring my listing coordinator with me when I bring it. Did you finish the basement? Any other upgrades? (These messages were also found in Shanann's phone, likely sent as a group text by Ann.)

1243 hours - Watts to Meadows : "Basement is still unfinished. No other upgrades"

1303 hours - Meadows to Watts: Suggested a house at 6508 Saratoga* may be viable.

1314 hours - Meadows asked if Watts preferred a three car garage. Watts replied, "3 car garage. I will drive by the 6508 address when I get home."

Shan’ann phone -1.25 am she told Cassie they had landed. This is the LAST outgoing communication found on Shan’anns phone.
CW phone - 1.48am logged Vivint alert of Shan’ann entering home.
NU phone - 2.01 group text out (inc SW) “we are home”
Shan’anns phone is then dormant until 7.40am when CW sent a staged message to her pretending to not know where she is.
CW phone - 2.18am home router logged an unspecified activity
Cw phone - 6.29am started to make calls to co worker several times and left message.

It's clear from SW's messages that NC was a key turning point and we know this is when the affair kicked off.

He discovered he liked not having his family around.

I think I missed some of the vitriol towards her since I left last night and haven't had a chance to be here hardly at all today.

I did point out some discepancies, and wondered why they hadn't pursued any charges for not being honest with LE, but I refrained from name-calling. It does disturb me when people are allowed to get away with things like that without prosecution because it sets up the next person to be less than honest, etc... Ultimately, I'm sure the authorities have much more important issues to pursue and that is why this was let go. Everything we're learning came from them so they are aware.

I am disturbed to discover she is completely different than Amber Frey. I do mean completely different. Her words to LE don't align with her actions at all. I can only imagine she was lapping up CW's lies about what a bad person SW was and fueling that fire in a variety of ways.

She had no respect for a woman whose wedding rings she was telling him to hock when she didn't even know where SW was or what had happened to them yet. The things she googled about marrying your mistress and such tell us she was completely aware she was, indeed, the mistress of a married man who wasn't at the end of his divorce.

I don't believe she was directly involved in the murders but the information we have now informs us that she isn't necessarily psychologically sound herself or a even a person of good morals in general.

I agree! I guess that's why in the DA's press conference he hinted at NK being less helpful than he liked (that was my take on it).

When you read her interviews her story changes and each time her 'memory improves' (???). Eg visiting SWs house etc.

I got the impression the police interviewing her were concerned about her mental wellbeing. I can't recall where I read it in the documents, but it was suggested she needed psych support (or some other mental health support I believe)

They needed to keep her sweet and not turn her into a defence witness

Now they don't need her.

No. On page 2103:
0620 hours: “proving messages have been deleted from Watt’s phone, Shanann noted on several messages....”

The implication is that CW deleted messages. In other areas of this document, the discrepancy between messages on their phones is also referenced (using the words missing), with the same implication.

The selective deletions are quite interesting

The girls had not seen him, hardly at all, for 6 weeks. That is an eternity for 3 and 4 yr olds. I am pretty sure they were crying for Mommy at some point, that weekend. When toddlers get cranky and tired, they want Mommy. I bet he didn't like that much at all. He has very thin skinned.

Yes, he descibes how Bella was asking several times about her Mommy during the weekend. After she was put to bed on the night of the murder, he said she came out of her room asking for her. Chris told her she would be there in the morning when she woke up. Heartbreaking.

Was there a door to the outside from the basement where CW could go and come as he pleased without SW or the house alarm tracking systems knowing his movements?

Right. This was when his relationship with Nickol was apparently becoming intense. Chris claimed he had never met anyone he felt he could talk to before. As this was happening, he was disconnecting more and more with his wife. I think this is when he made his mind up that he was done. Just like that. Imo

Yeah. That’s likely true. He didn’t have time to delete her phone records after the murders.

Taking her phone to work would have been out of the question (location data).

He likely planned to delete things off her phone later, or destroy/get rid of her phone completely.

Fortunately, NA screwed him.

Shan’ann obviously went upstairs immediately she entered the house. I believe she got undressed, changed into a different top and then got into bed.

It's embarrassing how quickly he changed from "I didn't do anything.." to claiming Shanann killed his kids, after the investigator suggested it. Like a small child caught doing something and latching on stupidly to whatever their parent throws out there to see if they come up with an excuse.

His thinking is incredibly juvenile. He really does seem to have low intelligence. I thought he was supposed to be such a whiz in school? I think the one guy who described him definitively as just average was probably more on target. This guy is almost simple-minded.

Yes I found this the most fascinating of all.

Coder played him with the oldest tricks in the book.

It was especially interesting that Coder had Watt's almost agreeing that he had something to confess on the Tuesday night but let him leave. But in that interview, Watt's was no longer seriously denying he had something he needed to confess to Coder.

Then Coder swiftly broke him on the Wednesday.

I guess there is an experience level there - that it was best to give the perp more time to stew
