I don't care about the salacious details of the affair. I don't care if CW and NK had anal sex in broad daylight in the middle of the street. What I do care about is NK's integrity as a witness AS I DO EVERY OTHER WITNESS in this case (she is not special) and whether or not NK has been honest and completely forthcoming. In my opinion, she has not.

Does that mean I hate her or that I'm sexist? Good Lord, are we really going to resort to those kinds of accusations? I don't hate her. I have ZERO hate in my heart for anyone, and not only is it offensive to insinuate those things, but it derails the thread. And you're correct, I have the right to feel offended. NK is a part of this case and her actions, statements, demeanor, etc. are going to be discussed. PERIOD.

Please be reminded that SHANANN, BELLA, CECE AND NICO are the victims in this case.

I have a hugely massive problem with seeing NK's life, the life she still has after willfully having an affair with a married man with 2 toddlers and a pregnant wife still living in the family home, the life she still had when researching her Amber Frey book deal options, the life she had when searching Shanann at the same time as sleeping with her husband (I'll eat my socks if she never had any idea that Shanann was pregnant and never did any SM hunting)... the life she had when being questioned and her father was there to say "leading" about questions to protect her... the life she still has to live when according to some she should have been protected by LE (despite being rude, arrogant and sometimes uncooperative) and is a poor thing because she searched for anal sex prep with Shanann's husband and they didn't redact a ton of stuff to spare her feelings because they must have a big old grudge... to be just as ruined as Shanann's life.

Shanann who was pregnant, ill, desperately trying to save her marriage and the health of the unborn child CW later said he didn't want because his new fling was so exciting. Shanann, the wife who was strangled by her husband. Who has no life at all anymore. Who's husband was sleeping with a woman who was in HER own marital home with her things and her babies things. Who can't have her father step in and protect her, or her 3 children anymore. Who has been raked over the coals even after death for being such a bad wife she was probably responsible for her own murder in many circles. Who's husband's mistress was indignant at the thought of him sleeping with his pregnant wife. Who was tossed into the dirt face down with her son partially birthed.

Yeah, no. The sympathy train for Nichol Kessinger does NOT stop at my station.

I became tearful reading your post. So utterly heartbreakingly awful how SW and her children were treated by that . I saw a quick clip of Amber Frey last night on TV. Wow the difference. She was crying, stressing her worry about Laci and wanting her to come home.

I wish people would stop undermining others opinions and accussing them of being this or that regardless what their opinions are. Most of the cases we follow on WS are full of horrible acts that are hard to hear and read and it makes it even harder when there’s offensive banter on the threads. I enjoy hearing others opinions even when I don’t agree with them. Just because we don’t agree with an opinion or view it doesn’t mean the opinions of others are inadequate.

I don't understand your post, there are those with strong opinions regarding NK's words and actions which happens to be the majority and then, there are a few who believe NK is beyond criticism and calling out others for doing so, sexist being the offending word.
All posts are being respectful and compassionate to those who have sympathy for NK but just not agreeing with it. Then, your post is calling out people who respond to the few who don't like NK being criticized as somehow offensive?! Probably the 'like' button is the issue here.

Probably because he is stupid and thought he was smarter than LE and didn't think LE would be smart enough to know about the app? Or, maybe he couldn't spend one moment without looking at one of NK's naked pictures and he didn't want to delete them? Maybe both?

Without cellphone, cc’s, vehicle, car seats, medications, was out of touch - whilst 15 weeks -high risk pregnancy, and not feeling well. Per Discovery #1 (assuming there will be more) p575, it looks like NK initiated the deletions on Tuesday.

IMO he kept the Secret Calculator because he thought he was crafty and that was all he had left.

What I have an issue with is some people are actually open minded and don’t bash victims, but they are lumped into the category of a victim basher because a post was liked. There are many reasons why posts are liked and it’s not only to support the context in the post.

See, to me, /if/ she believed he was living in the basement (and I'm not sure how much he was?) and separated by all but papers and location that's not at all the same as trying to seduce him out of a happy marriage. (But even then, it takes two and I don't really believe in "homewreckers" as a thing.) I don't see why it would be a stretch to imagine he lied or downplayed things to NK when he's the main person in this case we know for absolute certain lied a lot about some big things.

I don't see this warm all over each other relationship between Chris and Shanann that suddenly stopped. The videos of their interactions seem so uncomfortable to me. But that's after the fact interpretation so I really don't know.

Chris said in the interview with LE he fell out of love with Shan’ann because he fell in love with NK. He didn’t describe a deteriorating relationship. That correlates with Shannan’s text that his change in behavior came out of left field once she left for NC.

I can only imagine the disgust Shanann's family felt when they had seen what NK had to say. Especially regarding the book deal search. Frankie said their pursuit of justice isn't over. I wholeheartedly support that pursuit and completely understand why they are seeking it.

Someone entertaining the idea of profiting off of a dead family is asinine ESPECIALLY within days of their murders. It follows a pattern since NK was imagining a married life with CW while he's still married and then she's acting pious while asking him to research the impact a divorce has on children. She added, it's worse on them when they are older though! They will have a blast sharing a room in your apartment! (Paraphrasing)

The justification of and minimizing of her actions isn't a good look. What goes around comes around, I guess.

This is also what bothers me so much. How she could even think of a book deal within days of finding out that her boyfriend killed his wife and 3 babies--I just can't even process that. I would have been devastated. That would never even occur to a person with true empathy.

She also constantly contradicts herself. "I told him to work on his marriage" and then have sex with him the next day. "I barely knew him" yet she's googling wedding dresses etc. Lies, lies and more lies. And that has nothing to do with her being a woman.

I couldn't keep listening to the tape. Had to shut it off.

I don't know what videos you're looking at, but these are photos of June 23, 24 and 25th taken in San Diego. They do not look "uncomfortable" to me. Can you link the videos? MOO

If Shannon was concerned CW was sleeping downstairs nightly, she would expressed this in text messages.
He feed NK lie after lie. Blaming his wife for the failed relationship, expressing his frustration that nothing
seemed to be good enough for his wife. Portraying himself in a better light to NK.

If I had just heard my grand children were dead, I would cry. I would Say, where are they? I would not just behave like nothing had happened.

I don’t know. I have never had such a huge shock as this but when I have been notified of shocking (to me) news, I tend not to cry. It’s more like I feel so stunned that I kind of shut down. I have no doubt I look emotionless but actually I am just not absorbing or processing, I guess. I react similarly when I’ve directly experienced something shocking or awful. I was present with my mom for several weeks as she slowly died of cancer. It was horrifying and terrible and to this day, years later, I have still barely cried although I loved my mom dearly and miss her very much. It’s almost like if I can control the emotions, the event won’t be so real or awful. It’s hard to explain. I do cry over sad movies or things not AS hideous in my own life. But big things kind of paralyze me.

Tl;dr: I’m reluctant to judge RW because I act weird sometimes myself.

Most folks here seem to think that NK must have been aware of SW's pregnancy.
If NK already knew about SW's pregnancy, then CW's motive was mostly financial, IMO.
NK was already complaining about money and might have made it clear to him that she wasn't going to support him so most of his paycheck could go to providing for the children of his ex and servicing the debt from his marriage.
NK absolutely had no idea that he would murder his family.
The monster decided on his own that he couldn't afford to divorce, support his children and still be with NK.
Even NK herself says that his motive was financial, but what she doesn't seem to feel guilty about is the likelihood that he did it to be able to afford a future with her.

Per discovery NK started trying to delete texts on Tuesday. By Tuesday it was obvious Shan’ann had not left by her own accord, LE was involved but NK makes the decision to scrub her electronics instead of going to LE. I understand the embarrassment etc, but doing the right thing when a wife and 2 children are missing superceeds any embarrassment- at least for most people.
