So you don't think NK lied at all? I'm wondering because I'm over here thinking she is a predator. I believe Shanann knew her husband and knew he didn't have game. I think NK saw him, looked him up and decided she wanted him. And she went after him. See I don't see her as an innocent victim. In fact I don't think CW would have ever killed had he not met NK. She gave him courage. His family seems to be a very sick dysfunctional family and no doubt he got a lot from them. But they didn't give him courage. She did. And 4 people lost their lives because of it. Just because she didn't do anything illegal doesn't mean she was completely innocent either. If she had been, I believe she would have been at the police department with ALL the evidence, screaming she was innocent and she had an alibi and telling them where she was and who she was with. All just my opinion. I really wish I could believe in people like you seem to do with NK, apparently I am too cynical or have seen too many lies play out.
I don’t know what to think. I blame CW for everything. I think he lied so much that anyone who came into contact with him didn’t know whether they were coming or going, including NK. I’m cutting her slack for that first interview. I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt and not assuming anything because I think she was horrified, disgusted, shocked, terrified, numb, and feeling every other unpleasant emotional reaction one might have upon discovering that someone they thought they loved was capable of committing such an evil act. I believe her when she said she had no sleep. I think she had to have been confused and a little crazy. They talked for over two hours, she was drained. I want to hear the tapes for the rest of the interviews that took place over the following days to see if she did better. I read that she wanted to do everything she could to make sure that CW would never get out of jail. She never wanted to see him again, and I believe that.

Anadarko contacted LE at 8am the 15th. NK was there at noon, so.
Doesn't her father work as a supervisor at Anadarko? Perhaps they did a cursory check of CW'S work emails, found his emails with NK, and her dad was then made aware. He probably then encouraged NK to come forward which is why he physically took her to the station. MOO

It was determined to be from the next site. He was absolutely intoxicated by NK. He killed for her. He wanted her more than he ever wanted anything in his life -- er, except when he wanted Shan'ann and wouldn't stop until he had her. He's a sick man. Make that "man."
can we see the flower pic?
Just so I can be totally disgusted...

WHOA what flower photo? I missed that. Gosh decorate for Xmas and I miss all kinds of stuff. Please don't say the flower is from that well site.... :/
After burying Shanann he took a picture of the wildflowers at the next site and sent it to NK

He did the same thing in his now infamous porch interviews.

He used stock words, ones said numerous times by the families of missing people:

“Surreal” and “nightmare.”

The difference here, is that they were said without any feeling, without any discernible emotion.

He was playing a role, trying to sell a story.

He was acting.

Badly.
Stock words and don't forget the smiles and laughs after saying them. "I just want them to come back. Heh."

yes, the MNPD man I dated was forced to have a Psych Eval after stalking and attempted to kill me.
He was diagnosed with MNPD and a psychopath.
He admitted to the psychologist it stemmed from childhood sexual abuse by the hands of his adopted mother. I met his mother she was sexually inappropriate and emotionally incestuous. She gropes him at holiday dinner, feels up his package and slaps his bum, stroke his muscles. She was all over him in front of the guests and her husband/his adoptive father. Everyone in the family said," she was always so in love with him and said it's normal, don't over analyze it!"
So, back to CW's I wonder if his hatred of women stems from a Norma/Norman Bates sexual abuse? His mother seemed extremely jealous of SW, to the point of not being natural but that of a jealous spurned lover. I wish former friends and gf's of CW's would speak up but I understand why they would not.

Very glad you escaped with your life! His mother’s behavior was VERY abnormal.

No Mama Watts was planting seeds in him even before they were married! This all came into play with him, calling her shady, etc. her parents being kept from the kids at their home. It goes on and on.
I agree, she was telling him terrible things about her, however I don’t feel it was a suddenly realization for him that Shannan was what his family said. He was with her for 8 years because it worked...until it didn’t.

Wow this is what makes horse races, I guess. I think there is a nice mountain of evidence against him. How much more could you possibly need? Evidence of planning ahead -- not just calling his co-worker to make sure he would be alone at Cervi 319, but calling his children's school; calling the realtor; running like a madman into the house not to look of this wife and children but to be ahead of the cops after his vague and changing stories about where they went; referring to them in past tense; the washing of the sheets and smell of cleaning fluid. The autopsy report was QUITE damning given he said he strangled Shan'ann because she strangled the children, and it turned out they were smothered. So so so many pieces of evidence, is there a list somewhere? All point to one person, the only person home with them, the only person to leave that house alive that day. No one else came or went. Why are you so desperate to find him less than 100% guilty? I am genuinely curious and confused. I think it's one of the most clearcut cases I have ever seen, short of his actually being caught in the act of murder. He didn't want a trial because he can barely stand knowing what people think of him now. He couldn't deal with his coworkers learning he had dumped his children and wife in oil and dirt. That was worse than the fact that they were dead in his mind - being scene as the monstrous murderer he is. A fate worse than death for sure. He's a sick ticket, is that anything less than apparent?

I am NOT trying to make him less than 100% guilty. If you've seen any of my posts, you will know from day DOT I said he did it.

I am purely speculating that someone else may know more than they are saying, and wondering if there is an additional reason that he pulled the pin on defending himself so quickly. It's just unusual, is all. We have continued to hear about the more and more perplexing responses from another person since discovery was released and I wonder if there is butt covering going on. I am not suggesting there was another person with him at the house that morning, that would be ludicrous.

Like said above, we will never see another case like this again, it's so left field.

LE ended up getting a search warrant for her phone. She was THE motive for a quadruple homicide. Her embarrassment is what is irrelevant in the bigger picture.

Agree. I have thought that CW might not have been the only one NK was seeing from work. Maybe he even showed others the pics of her and she knew it and was ok with it, but when LE started poking around she needed to cover those tracks. Her penchant for certain types of 🤬🤬🤬🤬 may have been for fantasy only and she never intended to actually pursue such activities. IMO, something related to that has caused her to be less than honest. She doesn't want to be 🤬🤬🤬🤬-shamed for having a sex life, and while that's understandable, her lover killed his family to pursue her and she should have come forward to LE with absolutely everything related to CW. I don't have much sympathy for her, having gone through my ex having an affair with someone from work. Fortunately, I left and took the kids when he first started getting violent. Cheating happens and most people find a way to move on - either work it out or split up. Good spouses/parents don't kill their families to get out of a marriage they no longer want. JMO.
