No, no she isn't. Just based on the few videos we have, her texts, etc., she is definitely not a smart girl. She's very emotionally immature as well.
Well she’s a genius compared to her lover.

It depends on your perspective. Some might say she pushed him or even make her responsible for CW murdering his family. I think she wanted some proof he‘s committed and not playing games with her. Fair game.

Was she the reason CW annihilated his family? Yes. Was she responsible for his actions? No.
I agree she wasn't responsible for his actions. But I don't buy her story that she was encouraging him to make his marriage work. I don't buy that she didn't know SW was pregnant. I don't buy that she was up in the loft of his house yet didn't enter the bedrooms. I could go on, but I am not going to fall for this shrinking violet business, she was pushing harder than he was for him to get a divorce, IMO.

Don’t throw tomatoes at me :D but would the discovery docs be laid out to clear her of suspicion? I‘d think the DA would just include stuff that was relevant to making his case. NK was not on trial.
I would never throw anything at you! :p Lol

Not in my opinion. Discovery is discovery. The DA can't help what she said or did. It was neither laid out to clear her or cast suspicion on her. I'm fairly certain there are other witnesses who are also displeased with the information released. MOO

I think CW “cooled” on the talk of the apartment search when it became evidence that a first & last’s month’s rent and a security deposit were going to need more funds than he had immediate access to, and that he would have to get past SW to get that much money.

I think that one of the next options became getting rid of SW. Then he could sell the house and get the funds to start his new life.

In his sociopathic delusion of a dastardly “simple” solution, it would all be so clean and he would be the sympathetic figure.
I don't think he even wanted an apartment. He was probably hoping he could just move in with NK. He was dropping hints that a two bedroom was too expensive. He may have been thinking that after his family went missing he would be able to move in with her. Imo

Yes, I wondered who she was calling in Fayetteville! That's where the Watts live....
Note one of her Google searches around the time of the murders was Ronnie Watts...

There is a pause between the words "so ashamed" and "of him" that made me think she was about to admit her shame, but then thought better of it, because why should SHE be ashamed, she doesn't want to admit to ANY wrong doing at all. I think the shame is that she knew damn well he was married, and also "addicted" to her as he kept saying, and she was manipulating him to leave his wife already-- very impatient-- which leads one to believe the relationship was long than 5 or 6 weeks. She seemed very frustrated that he was still living in the house with his family and her devotion to finding him a place was because she wanted him to move out already, not because she is the incredibly helpful, magnanimous person she likes to portray herself as. I do see a self-serving, arrogant, confused, whiny, supercilious woman who got herself in a bigger mess than she could have imagined. Someone (sorry I cannot remember who!) had a spot on interpretation of his letter to her promising "firsts" -- she was admittedly complaining that he had already done all these things. Well idiot inmate CW seems to have not realized that killing your family doesn't undo that you still had firsts with the person you married, that the children you smothered and dumped in oil will always be your first children -- and now because of his evil actions, last children. I think he's a sick man and it was just the wrong combination of personalities in a toxic sex-addicted needy faux-love embrace of ego and pathology, and though it is not her fault that the sick-o wads a murderer of the family in their way, how can there not be shame? It slipped out. Then the pause. MOO IMO

I wish I could like this 20x over

Worse. Atleast mommy spews her vitriol in public.

Her daughter does it from the shadows of the Internet, manipulating weak-minded people who are willing to grasp on to anything with which to attack Shanann.

“I’m friends with CW’s sister! She’s telling me all these things that no one else knows.”

Lies.

Possibly
I remember seeing people posting that "explanation" in a FB group, very early on in the case. When I heard RW state it in his interview, I was a little stunned. Did the Watts get this from the FB group (to which they were leaking gossip to), or did the FB group get it first from RW?

I am positive someone on their legal team or family has read this board.

Something in my gut tells me that NK may have been hiding in the garage to make it look like the garage door was alerting on the alarm. This would make it look like it was Shanann who left out the garage door.

You know anything is possible at this point.

Technically the evidence of it is her interview.
I missed that post of @PommyMommy. I try to read everything she writes. The only evidence I know about is NK saying she advised him to fix his marriage. She said it during her first interview. That counts, doesn’t it? I think NK and CW got themselves involved in a hot, steamy, sexy relationship pretty fast after Shanann went to North Carolina. I think they spent a lot more time playing sex games, taking photos, and doing the deed than they spent having serious conversations about the status of his marriage. I think NK innocently believed CW’s marriage was over because CW told her it was, and because he seemed to be available 24 hours a day. When Shanann returned, all of a sudden things started to change. It all happened very quickly.
It counts if she is deemed reliable (ie: truthful). IMO, she's not. If she sincerely wanted to see CW fix his marriage, she would have stopped seeing him. She did the exact opposite. She would have known from looking at Shanann's Facebook that they were expecting another baby. MOO

Will be appearing on CNN Headline News (HLN) at 11:00 AM Pacific Time, 2:00 PM Eastern speaking about the Chris Watts case and his move to Federal Custody.
Why would he be moved to Federal Custody? Is he that big of a threat? Why did they not put him in ADX Florence?

Yes. I believe it will air Friday. Can't remember the time. I have DVR set to record it.

Oh wow ok. I've been so busy at work, haven't had a lot of time to keep up with things but thank you

I totally agree that it started earlier. In her first interview (sometime in the first 4 minutes, I couldn't listen to any more than that), she talks about Father's day and then (IMO) caught herself to make sure that was in June. That combined with her supposed description of him talking from the basement after putting the kids to bed, which would have only happened once, not frequently, it doesn't add up. MOO.
I'm sure she knew exactly when Fathers Day was. She seemed pretty close to her own dad. The fact that he may have been in the basement and that there no sheets on the bed may have been a clue as to what the order of events was that night. I think that's why she mentioned it. She said him saying the sheets were smelly and he had to wash them at that time is what doesn't add up, to me, as well as him just "staring" at her. What was he doing or thinking at that time?

Most experts say a complete cut of contact between a wayward spouse and the affair partner is what is necessary for the marriage to have a chance at surviving. There is no chance of saving the marriage if the wayward spouse keeps living in two worlds and is dedicating time and energy on the affair partner that should be spent on the family he/she hopes to repair. NK would have seen this if she had Googled "repairing a marriage after an affair". Instead, she was searching about "marrying your mistress" and "man says he will leave his wife" and wedding dresses. I'm sure of her true motivations and it wasn't CW saving his marriage.

I agree with all of this. She gives the impression she gave CW the opportunity to make up his mind who he wanted, she put no pressure on him, encouraged him to do the right thing by his wife and family.

She could not come out and say it was fun while it lasted but I'm not bothered if I see him again - the guy disposed of his family for her.

She is not going to say I told him it's them or me, I'm fed up sneaking around so it's all or nothing - four lives lost, she knows people would consider her in some way responsible.

So, she takes the politically correct option and says she told him fix his marriage. I don't buy that - if she was not that into him and he declared his undying love and his intention to leave his wife she would have run for the hills. She did not run, she stayed and went apartment hunting.

Are they doing a 20/20 interview??
Yep SW’s mom posted on fb that they want everyone to see how beautiful and loving their daughter and grandkids were.
