He ACTUALLY pulled RAGE out of NOWHERE! Go back and watch and post if you can. I know I made a mental note of it because after i had seen that a person posted saying he and his dad seemed to be rehearsing which story they were going with in the interrogation room and I could not have agreed more.. like an extended conversation from the ride.

It struck me as so odd, that CW would think “rage” would be an understandable reaction. I’ve never seen anything like it. I have no idea what it means, but to actually kill 3 people with his bare hands, CW was on a rampage. Was he calm, cool, and methodical when he did it? Or was he crying out in anguish? I have no idea.

I think NK was a smart girl. Doing everything you can to try to fix your marriage before you end it is wise advice. She was playing it out. I don’t see the world in black and white. I think she could have meant that when she said it, but I also think with everything he told her, she thought it was 90% over, 10% chance of reconciliation. So, I can see how she could send nude photos, too. If CW told her he wanted to go back to Shanann, NK would have walked away. She doesn’t strike me as the type of woman who will die without a man. She seems pretty independent to me.

No, no she isn't. Just based on the few videos we have, her texts, etc., she is definitely not a smart girl. She's very emotionally immature as well.

I agree. This was a hot affair....not casual. He was telling NK he was divorcing his wife. Once SW was gone, NK told him to pawn the wedding rings. IMO there is no way she was expecting, encouraging or wanting CW to try to work it out with his wife. They were both planning on an ongoing relationship, hot and heavy. imo.

Agreed. She was already fantasizing about the craft and nature project she would do with Shanann's children, implying SHE would introduce them to things the "superficial" mom never did (SARCASM, Shanann was by all accounts an amazing mom <modsnip- name calling>). I do think that NK was tired of waiting for CW to move out (also suggestive of a longer affair!) and may have been starting to give, if not open ultimatums, a sense that she needed him out of the house and devoted to her or it wasn't going to keep working for her. Her secretiveness about the affair also suggests she did know how very, very married he still was.

I get the idea she liked the sex, and wanted to get married. I don’t really pick up a real soulmate vibe from her. I think he fit some of her lifestyle husband characteristics. But not a whole lot more than that

I notice the same. Like in her messages to Charlotte, I don't see her saying stuff like "I think I met the love of my life" or anything of substance other than "he seems too good to be true". Even that seems like more of an indicator of her doubting he would leave his wife. If I was talking to my best friend about falling in love, I would be gushing about how he makes me feel or his great personality. She mentions mainly the sex. Maybe I've been married too long or am too sentimental of a person compared to single people my age.

NK has found a real defender in you. I don't say that with sarcasm. It's interesting that we all carry our own assumptions, projections and judgments around, based on our own life experiences, much as we try to be neutral.

To me, it was obvious she was pushing pushing pushing. To the point of working several hours after work on several days to try to find an apartment for him. And then even telling the agents herself that he didn't seem all that interested in the apartment hunting. All of the tell tale googling (even if you give her a pass by saying there is no proof she actually clicked on what she was googling) all of the nekkid pix, the interest in what he should get his kids for breakfast, the fascination in where he should live after the divorce with relation to where his ex wife would live, going to SW's house 2 times at least and even going up in the loft. There was no way she wouldn't have easily known the pair was pregnant, his friends in the office did. Her own best friend commented that NK had a history of choosing the wrong guy, paraphrased, I think that passing 30 with no particular man in sight, finding one who shared some interests and showered her with love bombs made her head over heels for CW. She just taught herself to look over the fact he had a family, with another member well on the way.

I think he may have had a burner phone and began using his real phone when SW went to NC and he found out about the calculator app. He chose the basement for privacy. I wonder if SW didn't want him running after work because something seemed fishy about it to her. Just pondering.

Don’t think so. The e-mails discovered by the employer don’t indicate that. Also, the investigation was very thorough. I doubt they would hold that information back if there was any indication of them having an affair over months.

I don’t think CW was organized enough to keep an affair hidden, and contrary to what many think, he was not an adept liar. Yes, he lied a lot, but he couldn’t keep his lies straight. A real good liar (or someone with truly psychopathic traits) wouldn‘t babble on an on until he gets caught in his own lies. I think he went full speed with NK once SW was out of the picture and he had the bachelor‘s life. He was lacking object constancy, and when Shannan was gone, she didn’t exist in his mind. And boy, he wanted her gone once and for all when she was back to destroy his honeymoon (in his mind).

The way CW rushed in, no way he could have handled a steamy affair with SW being in the same house with him IMO.

I think NK's idea of encouraging him to "fix" his marriage, while at the same time sending him nice photos, was probably more a manipulation and insecure rant -- she was probably super upset that he was in NC, telling him to go just be with his wife and family then if he wasn't going to get his own place snap, get divorced, and be with her. That isn't really a heartfelt "fix your marriage"; it's a needy call to action and devotion, really.

I totally agree that it started earlier. In her first interview (sometime in the first 4 minutes, I couldn't listen to any more than that), she talks about Father's day and then (IMO) caught herself to make sure that was in June. That combined with her supposed description of him talking from the basement after putting the kids to bed, which would have only happened once, not frequently, it doesn't add up. MOO.

I don’t reach the same conclusion. I don’t think she was that invested in him. Thinking about it, yes, but she realized he came with a lot of baggage, and she was considering whether or not to take it on. Then the murders happened.

I've met women like her - I would describe her as a mans woman. I bet she had few female friends but many male friends......great to go to/watch ball games with, have a few drinks, hang out with. Will come across as as needy in order to make a guy feel more macho or be a strong, all round good fun gal - she will change personalities to suit the man/situation.

That poor detective in the second interview - she spoke at him, not to him. If it was possible to talk someone to death it was all over for him !

The source for a lot of the love stuff is Watts.

When I was in my late 20s i had a 2 month intense fling which I assumed was mutual, then one day out of the blue got cruelly dumped by telephone

She basically just decided I was not the one for her and ended it.

Seeing NK in the interviews, I don't get the idea she was fully invested in Watts yet.

She seems much more upset about her own problems than in mourning for her true love

I’m glad he has been moved for his safety so that he is kept alive and he endures every miserable day locked in a cell till the end of his life. If he is killed behind bars the Watts family could sue the prison service for a substantial amount and I am sure nobody wants that.

If his whereabouts aren’t publicly known does that mean his ‘fan mail’ will stop because nobody will know where to send it? If so great.

I guess if the fans send the mail to the last known prison it will be forwarded to the present one. Besides, I wonder if he might keep the money they send him. Actually it should go to a children charity.
