I'm new and just figuring out things, how to post. But has anyone seen the interview with miss McMahon, I think? She seems a little sketchy to me. Say she couldn't describe his tats? You have sex with someone, I think you're gonna notice his tatts?

Is she the one who said she slept with so many guys she met in bars while she was drunk that she doesn't remember all of them? The one when asked if she was 100% sure it had been Chris Watts, said, "See, that's the million dollar question!" Was that the one?

Of Course. But I don't think he knew that. If several days passed, he would have had time to get the sheet, clean the hatch, look for those little things he missed. Would he have eventually been caught, Yes. Would the case been closed as soon, probably not.

And the longer the wait, the less likely they could determine cause of death. His disgusting story might have stood. A major motive for those amazing CBI interrogators prying out a partial confession was to get to those bodies asap, in order to get more information. I suspect that shallow grave was temporary, or that he planned to burn it.

I doubt it. The case is closed. There's nothing more to be done. They made it very clear and without a doubt that Chris Watts is the only one responsible.

I'm still on catch up on this thread and saw this. Apologies if it's been answered.

I have a long way to go still with the timeline, but I can let you know the following -

He left the house at 5:45am (per GPS)

He arrived at Cervi 3-19 at 6:53am (per GPS)

*BUT he texted co-workers somewhere close to 6:30am to say he was already at Cervi 3-19

*That last one I haven't reached the texts yet to update the timeline because those are near the end of the discovery, but I have a rough memory of that from my first reading.

I have wondered if the GPS times are out by about 20 minutes, but I don't know if that's possible. Is it tracked centrally or on the truck? Could he have fiddled with the tracker?

What if he texted coworkers at 6:30AM to say he was at Cervi 3-19 in order to keep them away, as in "I'm here and handling the problem, no help needed....nothing to see here, carry on..."

If I may quote myself above - LOL - edit wasn't working - in my reading today one friend referencing the infamous peanut incident also said something about razor blades lying around the house, like the MIL was taunting the kids or SW? HUH? That was the first I'd read of that, assuming the friend's account was true.

If I may quote myself above - LOL - edit wasn't working - in my reading today one friend referencing the infamous peanut incident also said something about razor blades lying around the house, like the MIL was taunting the kids or SW? HUH? That was the first I'd read of that, assuming the friend's account was true.

I thought that that was just an analogy. Like having nuts out was analogous with leaving razor blades where children could get them.

Also during my skimming/reading of the huge doc today, I noticed they indicated 2 of his searches were wiped out on the phone but somehow they recovered them. One was how to delete an Instagram account. The second was "80mg of Oxycodone will..." (rest cut off by URL of search). Another site
says this is referenced on page 1587 of the documents file (sorry that I didn't mark it myself, so assuming the other site's reference is true...) - any ideas what that meant? I don't think anything has been said to date about him or the mistress using substances, right? I looked up Oxy. A normal adult dose is 9mg every 12 hours but it does also come in 30mg doses so 90mg would be super high but not like taking 100 pills when the dose is 2. So assuming they had some in the house from some sort of medical event, wondering what he was thinking about...

80 mg of Oxycodone is an excessively high dosage. As a hospice nurse, there would never be a circumstance to use that amount. (unless one was thinking overdose) SW may have had that Rx for her post surgical pain.

I do believe that he became depressed when reality struck that his big plan was foiled and now he would never be with NK again. I also think he didn't want his dirty laundry to be aired publicly. I also think the evidence was so overwhelming he didn't stand a chance and he knew it.

IIRC, in his post-polygraph confession interview, there was a point at which he had started to cry a little bit, and then he said something that sounded to me like, "So I'm never going to get to talk to her again?" and then the first real, actual crying (IMO) started... My take was that the "her" he was referring to was NK...

Hi I'm sorry I've been busy for the last couple of days but been trying to catch up and watch him these videos that are just heart-wrenching but somewhere I did see or read that Shanann's friend Nickole's son Nick found Shanann's phone in the loft couch immediately and Nickole was the one that knew the code?? Does anyone confirm this info or am i delerious?

I see a lot of discussion of why CW texted at 6:30 AM to say he was on site when he wasn't there yet. I think it could as simple as he was running late to work and he lied to try to hide that fact. I'm not sure if he had to be there by 6:30 or how flexible his hours were but if he was normally expected at the office by 6:30 AM it makes sense for him to send a text lying to his supervisor and saying he was already out in the field doing work. If he skipped the office perhaps he would have to send a text in order to get "clocked in" for the day. He lied about everything. Lying about being late to work seems like it would be second nature to Inmate Watts. MOO.

Yes, Nick found it under a few pillows on the couch. Chris tried the code but it didn't work. Nichole was on the phone with Addy ( I think) and she said to try the babies due date and that worked.

I don’t get it! I try, and I try, and I try. That’s why I’m still here at WS. Somebody, please tell me WHY CW did this in a way that makes sense! Help me understand! Those precious, adorable, innocent little girls. How could he? CW has to have some kind of psychological make up like none of us has ever seen, so we have no frame of reference for understanding. I imagine if they took one of those Dr. Phil type brain scans of CW’s brain, he would have black spots all over it.

People like CW have no conscience and no empathy for other human beings. People are objects to him, a means to an end. His wife and kids were useful to him for a time, but as soon as he found something else then he was done with them. A divorce must have been too much trouble in his mind, so he thought it would just be easier to get rid of them all.

Things were coming to a head, he wasn’t going to be able to hide his wife’s pregnancy from NK for much longer. He was intoxicated by NK and just wanted to run off into the sunset with her. He had his family in his ear bashing Shan’ann at every opportunity. He just thought he could get away with it.

No conscience, no empathy, and an arrogant belief he could pull it off and not get caught. It’s as simple as that IMO.
