I don’t think she would make his life a living hell and I also think she would have accepted a divorce. Her texts to him asking what was wrong were not threatening even though she suspected he was cheating. She pleaded for him to tell her if he wanted out or was just staying for the kids but she never gave ultimatums or made “there is going to be hell to pay” statements. She was much kinder then I would have been if I thought my husband was cheating. I would expect some anger as they work through the process, she did not come across to me as a vindictive scorned wife. She has received such a bad rap as controlling but look at Chris, you know whoever he was with would have to step up and make the decisions. She took charge not through beating him down but out of necessity.
That's true... although maybe at that time she still felt "he had no game" so couldn't possibly be cheating, so still had hope it was something they could work out (aside from the $60 dinner charge the night before). Perhaps when it all came out she'd feel differently but that's pure speculation. Her entire lifestyle was going to change because of lack of his income, and that alone might have affected her immensely. She did certainly seem to be kinder than I would have expected, even in discussing this with her friends.

That was truly bizarre! And the friend said he never saw a bad side to Shanann. How weird and inappropriate that CW's mother would call up his friend to trash her. And yet CW was never complaining about SW's terrible traits to him. Just CW's mother! So messed off. The friend did however say that CW is very much like his mother Cindy.
Yes he did. He said they were both sweet hearted.................

There's no immunity deal. Guys she wasn't involved. She just wasn't. There would be interrogations of her and accusations during questioning. It just is not there.
Thank you! For me, that settles it!

One quote deleted by me. Don't know how it attached???

I agree, for most that would be the first call you would make, to your closest friend, especially with such a monumental event like your boyfriend murdering his family.

Yes. Also NK kept telling the officer that her friend Charlotte hadn't even "made the connection" yet that this CW guy who murdered his family was HER Chris. She repeated that over and over yet then he prompted her to read a few texts and Charlotte's text clearly stated she knew it was the same guy. But all NK wanted to talk about was how selfish her best friend Charlotte was being over her father dying. I think the officer was starting to lose a little patience over her continued repeating of Charlotte's feelings about her dad's passing.

I get that and I can see why she would be embarrassed. However, her friends were going to be contacted. Not to metion it’s all over the news. Pretending your friends aren’t going to find out is ridiculous.

I’m just going to say I think she was a basket case and not thinking clearly, but I can understand why you think the way you do. The detective suggested she move out of state where the case wouldn’t get as much publicity, but he was wrong about that. Everybody knows and everybody hates her, all across the USA, for being a home wrecker. Me, I think she believed CW’s lies, but it feels like I’m the only one who does.

But how can you be 'in control' when you do everything somebody else wants? Even if you are doing what you want behind their back.

Without SW realizing it, CW handed over any control/power that SW previously had and he gave it to NK. He took the ultimate control himself, however. He is the one who decided to commit mass murder and hide the bodies. If that isn't the ultimate control, I don't know what is.

In regards to CW moved to Wisconsin prison, radaronline reported the following:

The source noted that Watts was flown to an airport in Madison, Wisconsin by authorities who transported him to the maximum-security prison.

BBM, how does that work with prisoners? do they fly them on commercial planes or they have different planes and airports? One time I hard from a military veteran that they fly suspects hand cuffed at the back of the plane with few military personal around. Ever since I heard that I freaked out! I wonder if they did fly CW on a commercial plane and if any general public recognized him.

Yes, very odd. I would think most people wouldn’t fling out F bombs during an interview like that. I’m about 15 years older than her as well, but I have 3 kids and 2 of them are adults and they wouldn’t talk that way either. It’s called respecting authority.

I think she was showing her maturity and her superiority complex. Silly silly girl, the best thing she can do is keep a low profile, have no contact with the media whatsoever and make a life for herself. She’s lucky she still has one !

Off topic, but I just got Jury Duty notice! I am to make myself available Jan, Feb and March! Aaaargh!
Better than Indiana where you get about 10 days notice. Bizarre.

I’m the one person who would LOVE to get selected and have never made it to the questioning phase.

Imagine that. SW was really good friends with her former mother-in-law! Even after she and the MIL's son got divorced! Enough to keep her phone number as her password. Look at that, SW wasn't the horrible, shady, bipolar daughter-in-law after all. I think it says tons about her that even her FORMER mother-in-law liked her even after the divorce. Sorry Cindy and most unpleasant Watts family.
Interesting! She also came into contact with her ex-husband's new wife through LeVel, I believe, and became "casually friendly" with her. So it was odd to read the interview report with SWs ex-husband where he said he didn't even know Shanann's married name until recently...

I agree that she had no control in the last weeks, but she certainly had control beforehand.
How do you know that? The way I see it, CW was always in control because he pretended to be someone he wasn't. He was never a fair broker, JMO.

I am still friends with my ex and with his new wife, but my husband probably couldn't tell you their last names (or her first name).

I can't imagine a law that would prohibit her profiting, she didn't do anything illegal from what I can see. Public opinion would be the only limiter, just don't buy her book, or watch her appearances, but there is a market for absolutely anything. Anyway I doubt that she will write a book.
I think she behaves the way she does because of DNA and how she’s wired, from who she was around growing up and now. I don’t see her being able to change that.

I can't get multiquote to work, apologies. @MsBetsy - you were inquiring as to what the date of the search for 80mg of Oxycodone was. Discovery page 1769 in the report says that the 2 searches had been deleted from the phone and therefore date and time stamps were not available.

Jersey.
Doesn't this sound sus?o_O
Why would there be a search for the high dosage of Oxycodone?o_O
Could there possibly be a thought/plan/idea to use this, as a means for murder???
MOO.

because the discovery document provides evidence in the form of witness statements.

I can see where your coming from too - I see it both ways. I think there’s plenty of people who have no idea who NK is. Maybe not in that area, but generally speaking.

And even if she did have the "control" to decorate or make a lot of their decisions...good. CW clearly had trouble adulting on his own.

Ugly sexism. She isn't owned by him and neither are her parents. The media is erasing her. urgh...

I think it's more about money for the media than sexism. They want the clicks from people who are googling CW's name after his conviction. It's all about ad revenue. JMO.

I'm no fan, but I don't see any way of legally stopping her from doing any publicity she wants to.
Some people will buy anything, just put it in the front row at the airport bookstore with a salacious title....will fly off the shelf.
