I couldn’t finish watching the psychologist video. Great audition for being hired by defense in this case if he doesn’t plead out.
Just as I suspected and mentioned earlier. The income they made when they bought the house drastically reduced. Unless he had a different job now then he did then, Shannan's sales plummeted. This confirms it with a combined income of 147k down to 90k. Losing 57k in a situation where one was living above their means to begin with puts you in dire financial straits very quickly.
I am totally sickened not only the fact he killed his wife and children, but how he disposed of them is so horrific and also telling. My first thought was so he was ok with going to work every day knowing his baby girls were close by and a constant reminder of what he had done. Then I realized one, he doesn't care about them and two, he had no intentions of sticking around anyway. He was already talking about selling the house. He was going to be out of there as soon as possible.
Gitana the video you posted of Bella was the saddest thing I've seen since reading about this case. It brought her to life and emphasied the cruelty and horrificness of this crime. Having 2 young granddaughters of similar age and knowing how much they adore my son and are totally daddy's girls makes it all so real to me. Such a sweet little girl and one that loved her daddy...UGH.. the betrayal here is disgusting.
I know I paid special attention at that point, because it seemed like a strange request. The prosecution seemed to clarify it with the judge who said they had to give ample notification (my words, not his, as I don't remember his exact terminology).
That's an interesting thought and something that had not crossed my mind. You may be correct.I’m not convinced he confessed prior to his arrest. The company he worked for or LE looked at the company security video. That’s how I think it played out. He was fired either shortly before or shortly after his arrest and they knew where to locate SW right after the arrest.
Interestingly he has been hired as an expert for the defense in 60% of his 50 times he has testified.

Yes, even Monday night he is voicing his future plans to sell the house (now that he is rid of the obligations). But he isnt all that clever.
How does he sell a house if his wife is still missing and not declared legally dead? How does that work?
And really did he not assume he would be arrested once they found the bodies AT HIS WORK??? It sounds like Shanann wasn’t even hidden. What was his plan here?Yes, even Monday night he is voicing his future plans to sell the house (now that he is rid of the obligations). But he isnt all that clever.

Ok - this is a video of CW on YouTube giving a speech in 2012 on Communication in Relationships. WOW........just unbelievable!
Can you just say what you heard? I can't really make it out.
Maybe he wants in on the defense. He may have a lot of credentials but he doesn't seem to have a lot of smarts. Heck the whole world practically, after watching the interviews was going, "Oh. Shoot. He did it."

I honestly think he just ran out of time and that's why he just dumped her body and didn't put it in a tank also. That's an interesting thought and something that had not crossed my mind. You may be correct.
If he were an abuser he had 6 weeks of pent up frustration with no one in the house to bully and abuse. Do you think SW would have trusted him alone with their kids while she was out of town? I find that hard to believe.
RSBM. So well said! And so true. I see it all over my social media. And you are correct that all of the ones "liking" and "congratulating" and being all enthusiastic are ALSO trained to behave that way to continue the hype.
I don't really know about the trips (what's paid for and what isn't), but when it comes to "free cars," they are not "free." They are leases that you only get to have if you maintain a certain monthly sales level. If not, goodbye car. A nice perk, I suppose, but it does create a level of stress for sure and it's misleading to claim you "got a free car" in my opinion!
ugh after seeing this one thing ya gotta say about him was he sure got himself looking a heck of a lot better!

Where was it reported that she was planning on leaving him? Is there a link or is it speculation?
there is a little problem -- in the long interview when asked about how their relationship was the wife responded with a resounding their relationship was awesome
in another clip she described that she had reported to her that she kinda pondered if he was having an affair

Did the judge approve this notice or was it just a request?
I can't imagine ME wanting to delay autopsy as I'm not sure
that cold storage completely halts decomposition. Doesn't it
just slow things down?
i think it would it destroy lots of stuff - just the thought of stuffing your kids in a stinky gas tank is really quite repulsive
from the court hearing I think they knew (he told them) he stuck em in there his doing all this hypothetical talking and confessing imo is about him being caught

I'm thinking he was planning "his single life".
No more wifey, no more kids, no more financial hardship.
A do over w/ a new girlfriend maybe?
he obviously put in a lot of time and effort to get more appealing============
hi you
I was just surprised that someone did not advise them that sound was picking them up !!

Psychologist reviews interview with Chris Watts, man accused of killing family
Unsure if this was previously posted. Very interesting.
Totally agree. I know of one local "expert" that is hired nationally by the defense of sexual abusers. A disgrace to the field. And takes all the cases that ethically no one else will touch. Not saying it's necessarily the case with this fellow, but sometimes attorneys have to hire the expert who's available/willing to take the case, though that expert may not be the first choice.![]()
