Def weird. He just never has, for even one minute, acted like a husband whose beloved wife was missing.
This is why I wish LE or the family would speak out to the media. Some families are very close and have specific plans for mothers day, others not so much. I wish we knew if the family had made plans to do something to celebrate the day and if so what time everyone was expected to meet. IMO it would be natural to mention the family plans because it would help show that SM didnt intentionally wonder off, but without more information everything BM does makes him look for guilty

I found this interesting too. I dont recall it being stated anywhere what or where the job was. I know construction starts early but anytime around 5AM seems strangely early to start what i assume is a loud construction job. Granted I dont know how far away the job was, so it could have started at a more reasonable time. Is anyone here familiar with construction work? Is starting this early on a weekend normal?

The Denver job wasn't scheduled to start until Monday. BM claims he went up to Denver early (really early) to prepare the site for the Monday start.

Not normal for landscaping or residential construction. Highway construction - yes, often in the middle of the night.

What could he possibly have had to do to set up for this Denver job, that would require him to be there for at least 9 hours?

Thank you for clarifying this....so BM intentionally woke up at 5am on a Saturday, to drive to Denver for a construction job that didnt start until Monday (around 48 hours early).....He did this knowing that mothers day was Sunday and that he would not be spending it with his family.... and at least from what Ive read, he provides no reason for needed to be at the site so early.

Without more I truly struggle to understand why leaving on Saturday was needed. This behavior makes no sense to me and IMO is very suspicious. Im trying to stay open minded, so if anyone has another viewpoint Id honestly like to hear it because I feel like Im missing something.

I agree. It just seems unusual. Something against the norm.

Sometimes a contractor would ask one or more of his workers if they want to work a Saturday or Sunday but usually it would be if a promised deadline is approaching or they wanted to get a jump on new site. But on Mothers Day it would be even more unusual to me unless something pressing about it. JMO

And the guys (crew) coming up Sunday night-pretty odd that his crew was coming up on Mother’s Day evening to spend the night in Denver before work on Monday. Why not just ask them to get an early start (maybe leave their home at 5 am, like some guys do), to get there before 8? What time does construction start in Denver? Did his crew expect to be in Denver for a while on the job, and he had made arrangements for their lodging starting Sunday night?

This is a new picture of Suzanne I've never seen ... maybe the Moorman family supplied it? I wonder what significance it has if any?

I’ve thought that BM told LE that he left for Denver at 5:00 a.m. so that he wouldn’t have to provide receipts for an overnight stay, yet could still be conveniently out of town when his wife “went missing”.

Is the guess that their daughters did not have cellular coverage while out of town? No OTW messages until further down the road? Sporadic or no communications during the week? Couldn’t have known they were running late until they were running late. Could they have been surprised to learn that SM was home alone on MD? Could they have been confused to find out that BM was in...Denver? People I know text more than they probably should, but also don’t live in the mountains with spotty service. IMO.

Does anyone else think that maybe the visit to the Salida job sight late Saturday night was to acquire fill dirt either for body transport, future burial elsewhere or both? We know there was fill dirt there and the neighbor reported hearing machinery noise/ felt vibrations from equipment running. Could BM have used the equipment and filled the bed of his truck within a 30 minute time frame?
Others have suggested he could have covered the body with dirt in the truck bed but where would he get the dirt to do so? If he had a backhoe at home too he could use it to remove dirt from truck bed and replace it after body was placed in truck bed. The job sight was 12 miles from the home correct?
Maybe he left the home later under cover of darkness to bury remains elsewhere? Maybe he even needed additional fill dirt for an adequate burial and IF there even was a Denver job he went there to retrieve the extra dirt?
I’m not in the habit of burying bodies much less transporting them but wouldn’t it make sense that he would want a body in his truck or whoever’s for as little time as possible even if covered with dirt? IMO
I believe she is close either in the direction of Denver or slightly the opposite way.
I also wouldn’t be surprised that BM could cover a body in the truck bed with a shovel in a timely manner. Also IMO

@Cindizzi sbm Jumping off your post, because I read down to another tweet by P/Evil guys, w 2:57 sec vid, w just the two of them talking (think this is correct link. https://twitter.com/187Cjm/status/1297660985512165381).

One host says SM fam member(s?) said she was sweet, docile and loved Sesame Street. A 49 y/o woman loved Sesame Street? As if describing a preschooler? Maybe it was her Father. Sad to see him so sad. Reminded me if my own, RIP.
Anyway, other host talked about her as a fighter against the cancer.

Are those two descriptions consistent w each other? Regardless, glad for P/E continued coverage.

So many unanswered questions, right? I have to wonder how many questions LS put to BM that he would not answer. Basically, all we learned that was new, is that he was “confused” about when he did some “mechanical thing” to his bobcat (most likely he lied until confronted with facts) and that by his own admission he is LE’s #1 suspect. Although the latter really isn’t news to most of us :). There was no bike ride (LE refuse to even acknowledge finding it), there’s no mountain lion (but we do have a cat named bob ;)), no accident and “got in the river” and no abduction. I guess that’s why he felt it necessary to inject “someone that knew her well” as possibly being responsible. That’s an understatement if I ever heard one. I suspect that irony is lost on someone as egocentric as himself  He just can’t get outside of his own head to see how he sounds and appears to others.

All MOO!

Who do you think is likely to be the significant third party? A good buddy guy friend? Someone whose car he may have borrowed? A possible female friend? A coworker type who helped to move machinery or vehicles? Do you have a hunch who it might be?

I have 2 people in mind. But to avoid violating TOS, I’m going to refrain from going into details. Hopefully in the near future we’ll be able to discuss it further. I’m almost positive LE has talked to at least on of the people I am thinking of.

I don't think there was a job in Denver. The only person who has stated that is BM - after he changed his story from "training" (which he did only after Fire Chief said there was no training).

And first he had a conversation with Suzanne about whether it was okay for him to go that morning (no mention of how early it was) then it was "she was still sleeping."

Has anyone heard anything about his job that day? Who was the job for? Has anyone come forward with information about it?

This pic looks to be of a much younger Suzanne.
I'm wondering if it was taken before she even knew BM.

Maybe her family want to focus attention on her identity as a daughter and a sister, vs. her roles as a wife and mother.
I note they're also hash tagging #SuzanneMoorman.
Moorman. They're her blood.
She's THEIR daughter and sister.
So, it makes sense to me that they would want to focus attention on the fact that she loved by them, too.

It's also possible that the picture was taken while she and BM were dating, or maybe newlyweds.
She looks to be in possibly her early 20s in that pic…I can't recall how old she was when she and Barry got married, does anyone here remember off the top of their head?

I note she's wearing a baseball hat in that photo, and as we all know, BM was a baseball player who tried and failed to make it in the big leagues.

I'm pointing his failed attempt out, because I think it's significant.
I'll bet he's never acknowledged to himself, much less accepted, that he wasn't good enough.
I suspect this failure left a permanent chip on his shoulder.

Not good enough for MLB.

And not good enough for Suzanne, either.

She deserved much, much better.

JMO.

It almost looks like it could have been cropped, maybe a message to be conveyed in the missing pieces? Or the eyes being closed could suggest something more somber or peaceful. IMO.
