While i am still leaning towards Barry being guilty, its still quite possible for a husband and wife to be having a terrible relationship full of arguments, fights, affairs etc and even hate each other yet at the same time a random stranger could one day decided to murder/kidnap either one of them. Like i say i don't believe that is the case here, for me there are a huge amount of red flags on barry, but just because a couple is not getting on and maybe don't even care about each other any more and are fighting or having affairs doesn't make them immune to being kidnapped or murdered by a stranger.
I personally think after being with my hubby since {{cough}} '77 that it takes more than bad financial issues/ mismanagement to cause such hatred and anger in a marriage. The only time I have ever seen any relationship cause such discourse always involved an on the side relationship by one of the couple man or woman. It doesn't always happen immediately. Some couples stew on it for some time before they react. The hatred grows like a volcano until it explodes. It doesn't take much at that point to lose control. I don't think there's a third party abduction in this case but something has told me as I stated way in the beginning that being stuck with a spouse during a pandemic that was used to being secretive and having an affair must be high tension. moo

@MassGuy how long without an arrest will you start to get worried? 7 months? a year?

I think 7 or 8 months, and I would start to worry.

No body cases take a ton of time, and I didn’t expect an arrest yet. But if we don’t get one before the end of the year, then I’ll be worried.

If I had to make a guess, I’d expect an arrest in the next month or so.

I am just now starting to read up on this case. Wow! So many threads, I doubt I'll ever catch or keep up! Any hints from anyone as to what the personal item is that has been found?

I wondered the same when I watched AM on the vigil video.
Even AM himself seemed to allude to him believing the bike was thrown down the ravine, not that she crashed it or anything.
How do they even know where to start looking?
He did mention the PE guys were assisting with many more experts so maybe that's a strategy that just isn't being released yet.

jmo
Maybe they will search in the Crescent Butt area, or whatever the name of the place is where BM lay on the ground after looking over the bluff.

It could drag on like that Donthe Lucas trial also from Colorado. Will be interesting if Colorado has the goods or not in that case, I feel like they got bullied into charging him with lawsuits from the family.

I thought this as well but I also saw someone comment that he is an outdoorsman and on a bluff like where he was that it was wise to be flat on the ground because they are prone to eroding/giving way and that is the safest position. From there you can most safely look over the edge and out off of that point. Is it true - who knows. It would be nice to think it was the former and that searchers were just getting too close to the truth so he drew attention away.
Do we know whether he was prone on his back or on his abdomen?

I'm trying to remain optimistic and continue to believe that LE just needs one more tiny piece of the puzzle to present an airtight prosecution.

I am hopeful for an arrest within a month. I think they are 99.98% there.

Not a clue. We only have guesses.

I'm curious.

Did the property owner in Denvo Springs KNOW the wall was crooked?

WAS a wall crooked?

Or could it be that, pressed for an alibsplanation, did he choose a completed job that would be the PERFECT sort of project for a nonexistent crew not to do?

JMO

Isn’t it also interesting the employer for the job site and all the surrounding areas that would notice such work have been radio silent?

I wonder if BM has enough shovels? You know, he keeps digging himself into holes. Keep it up BM!! People are noticing and starting to see the holes!

Hi, I missed the original info on why they went to Crescent Butte, can you point me in the right direction? Thanks

I could be wrong, but I think there are 2 places where BM has reportedly laid on the ground. When AM said a fellow searcher relayed that info to AM, IMO they were in hiking distance of the home or the “bike found” location.JMO

Crested Butte is 95 miles from Salida.
The Crested Butte reference is from the PE website quoted here :

My interpretation was LE was interested in hearing about BM's reaction overlooking the bluff when he allegedly took to the ground with an emotional reaction. MOO
Sounds a bit histrionic, like a show, when he hasn't shown much concern or emotion otherwise. jmo

We've really not heard from anyone directly who worked at or with BM on any jobs. Well, other than the one that ended up in a brawl and a court case. I mean anyone from one of his crews over the years, saying, "Barry was a great guy," or "Barry was all right". Only a couple friends who have stuck strictly to social media and their information sounds highly suspect, as in, hand fed to them, by Barry.

MOO

I get the feeling that most people work for Barry once and then turn down any future opportunities to work together.

After BM was done carrying on, did his searchmate press forward? Or did the search turn back, the direction from which it came?

Killdeer are known to fake a broken wing to redirect attention. TS gave a Cousin It interview, to shift focus away from her moving truck (and hidden agenda, splitting town and relocating a precious child's body).

Sure, maybe the location was significant to his marriage and overcome with grief, he crumpled.... or are we looking at diversionary tactic?

JMO

Re BBM
That is a great analogy if that is what happened there.

Ive seen a Kildeer mother bird in action. She walked a few feet away from her nesting area and began to flutter around on the ground to fake a broken wing. Its a great distractionary tactic.

This is pointless unless the task force gives them locations in which to search. I hope they have areas of interest in which they can deploy these people. I don’t think she’s anywhere near that house.

So I’m happy this is happening, but skeptical it will result in anything fruitful.

I am dumbfounded why Tim Miller and EquuSearch haven’t been asked to organize? Has anyone seen any inquiries or know if the family is aware of this amazing organization?

Report a Person Missing

Special note: Texas EquuSearch can only accept a missing person case if it has been filed with the appropriate law enforcement agency, a case number has been assigned, and law enforcement gives their consent for Texas EquuSearch to become involved.

Requests for Texas EquuSearch’s assistance must be made by the family of the missing person and/or the law enforcement agency handling the case. If the family requests our help, law enforcement MUST approve our assistance after the request is made by the family.

In his interview with Chris McDonough and Mike King at Profiling Evil, Tyson Draper told them that they day he took video of BM was the SECOND day Tyson had been in the area. Tyson reported that the first day, he had seen BM drive past in his pickup and that BM looked very distraught; his hair was all disheveled, he was red all over (he wasn't wearing a shirt), and he appeared like he was hitting his chest up against the steering wheel, like someone might do if they were upset. When asked, Tyson said BM didn't appear to notice him; he just drove past.

I wonder where BM had been before he'd driven past Tyson that day and what it was that so affected him.
