That other site with 33k donations claims the money is for searching for Suzanne. I thought that was Andy's site at first, since they list all the expenses of searching. I wonder how many ppl think they are donating to Andy's search.
In the beginning few minutes or so of PE live Mike King referenced often and vehemently they, TN named iirc...would do the right thing and turn over all of those funds to AM’s efforts
I cheered his strategy of repeating and pushing the point
A guilt ‘em into it!!

I can't believe GFY gets 15%, that's wack.
I'd rather send my money directly. I'm going to look into that before I contribute to it.

Someone mentioned this to me and I think it’s a great idea. I asked LS and she loved it as well. I have tweeted to PE to see if they and AM would like this to happen.

It’s hunting season while we will be there searching. How about selling orange t-shirts with #findsuzanne #justice4Suzanne on them for the volunteers to wear. Both for safety and to raise money. All proceeds over cost will go directly to AM’s new gimme page..

Any thoughts or additional ideas?

No they aren't, unless it was used as a concealment for masking the taking of a human life.
Excellent point Warwick7. Whoa, I'd be doing some digging in this area if I was LE, the positioning of it really does look suspicious, like it would throw off the dogs, nothing to see here .... h'mm, wonder if they've looked directly under. Very interesting indeed.

Please get back to us (me, haha) and let us know what PE say. I'm going to contact LE directly when I'm done with 10 other things on my plate.
I think that 15% is wasted, especially when donated more than, say, a minimal amount.
ETA: I was thrown off twitter. It was over a racist remark I could not stomach.
Go figure.

BM is doing, all he pleases.
Why the hurry????
You would think, this selling, buying, guardianship could wait.
What next.
BM does not care, how others perceive him.
It's all about his greed, the more money the better.
MOO.
BM has plans and likely has for a long time. His plans don’t include or even consider Suzanne. I don’t believe for a second that the Indiana courts granted him guardianship without his prior knowledge. I can imagine him putting it to an attorney in terms of Suzanne is sick and may die. What plans do we need to put her estate in order and make finances available to be available in the event of her demise. This was not a last minute conversation since Suzanne’s disappearance. IMO

Depending on how cold you think it might be towards the end of September, you could think about those orange safety vests like hunters use. Loose at the sides with a tie. They would just go over any normal shirts/light jackets searchers would be wearing. I saw some on Cabelas, (and Dick's Sporting goods) but I don't know if they could be personalized with a message. Or google something like "orange safety hunting clothes". They probably sell them in CO, they are even less expensive than T shirts. And more usable if it's chilly. Just an idea. (Or sell both for people who also want to buy t shirts for relatives back home too)- The professional searchers will probably have their own orange safety vests. (?)

I'm not totally sure i'm the person to handle the T-shirt nor vest (which is a fantastic idea) sales etc. I could coordinate it but i'm just trying to think out loud for options. I also think that an army of orange t-shirts/vests in town will make certain people shake in their boots. I figured everyone that ordered one could wera it over whatever they wanted for weather related comfort.

I would happily look into it if they come back and like the idea. Stay tuned.

I have to agree. I was torn, and still am to some degree, but I just don't think BM is a someone who can think on his feet.
He might've had to alter plans, but whatever.

Would it be an idea to see if a local company would sponsor the t shirts/vests?

September in Colorado can be some of the most beautiful days all year.

I attended Colorado schools and it was the weather I especially looked forward to at fall semester--back to school. :)

Salida's late September 2019 is typical of Southern Colo: warm days in the 70's and cool morning and evenings.

* Gunnison is about 60 miles west from Salida (US50W), and the location of the regional airport weather station.

Totally!!!!

If anyone knows a local company (perhaps a cooperative bike shop) or similar, let me know.

Sounds like he used a hatchet or an axe to take the antlers off the body of the elk, no matter how it was actually killed.

Agreed. I wonder if he carries one in his truck. I wonder where it is now.

It was the only outcome that I could see occurring, given that nobody opposed Barry's petition. Posters here on WS seem not to like the decision, though -- given the uncontroverted evidence that would've been in front of Judge Casati showing Barry's fitness as guardian -- it was legally the correct one.

Exactly.

Internet message boards can use rumor and innuendo.

Courts rely on actual evidence and facts.

Just fyi for ya’ll considering donating to AM’s search fund through the PE donate button...there is an option not to give 15% or you can change it to a smaller percentage. I thought about doing that but wasn’t sure if 🤬🤬🤬 would deduct it from my donation so I left it alone but they added the 15% to my donation.

They add it automatically.

No, you’d always use a saw.

All of this COULD become evidence if this matter ever gets to trial. It’s happened in many other cases. So, do not despair, websleuthers intent on justice. The guardianship could end up being a perp’s downfall.
Agree! LE is watching and aware of guardianship issue. Perp will be letting his guard down. Just a matter of time.

I wonder if they thought about opening up the septic tank. I wonder where the septic is located. My septic is a concrete box, it has a lid. If you had the right type of construction equipment you could lift that lid up easily and rebury the box. No one would be the wiser if you had no grass. moo
