LOL, I was 22 or 23 and worked out everyday. I am petite, too.
I didn't know I'd pass the written with flying colors, didn't even study the material. My sister didn't, nah nah.
In the end, I bowed out. It would've been me or a perp. I pictured being in front of a dunkin' donuts:
"NO DON'T SHOOT, you don't want to throw your life away!" Bang, I was dead. Yeah, it wasn't for me.
That and all of the stories I heard of what they subjected rookies to. This was a long time ago, folks.
From what I understand, it's a whole new ball game now, thankfully.
PS. I only took the test to appease my LE Dad. Had no idea I'd do well.
Even my investigative Lieutenant said to me, "Why are you here?!". LOL!
