Very true. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, IF BM is innocent in disappearing SM, then he is guilty of being a bad husband IMO.

I know some will say - well, he’s a private person or maybe he’s too shy or uncomfortable to speak out, etc...

BM has been controlling the narrative from day one. The only times that BM speaks out is to defend any allegations against HIM. He puts out a 26 sec plea for his missing wife, but gives LS a thirty minute conversation to degrade his workers and accuse LE for everything else.

I have tried many times to consider other possibilities, but each one falls flat for me. We are approaching 5 months now, and if BM’s alibi or stories matched up, LE would have cleared him by now. In fact, when BM announced he had been cleared, LE was very quick to respond to LS that he was not.

If anyone has other theories that would point away from BM, then I would certainly listen to those (as long as I don’t have to do mental gymnastics to get there) You don’t have to name anyone you may suspect, just hypothetical scenarios.
MOO

Where did the info come from that he was rude to fellow chemo patients? (I’m behind).

Sorry if these have been asked before. I'm brand spanking new to the site. 1 - did LE conduct a search on BM's route to his "job"? 2 - So often in missing cases the family is all over the place trying to keep the story in the news (newspapers, tv, etc.) Why have her girls not spoken out at all? 3 - Do you think LE has a good idea of what happened or are they clueless as to where she could be?

Welcome alwayssuspicious :):):):)
I would think, LE know a great deal, and are mounting more evidence for a successful trial.

So great that the heat is mounting for him. Surely he is about to crack.

Can they search the Morphew property without consent from BM? I’d have thought not. This may have already been discussed. I have 20-odd pages of catching up to do.

yes, i am sure he would have to have permission, but as @MassGuy said, the thought of all these searchers surrounding the perimeter of the home brings me quite a lot of joy. andy did say he has a contact in salida that has offered to help him get access to all the private properties he wants to search, so if BM says "no" to that, then that's pretty damn interesting in and of itself.

i would just like to mention, on PE tonight they discussed that some search team members are already on the ground in salida. one man in particular, flew out early, and has been searching geographic regions for 3 days. he found some items today, that he photographed and sent to PE, and they immediately turned those into the sheriff's dept. bc they were DLR (don't look right).

andy also said there have been a few "earth-shattering" tips coming in daily in recent days.

imo.

eta: mike (the volunteer) was on the show, but technical difficulties prevented him from being able to discuss his findings. the evidence team came out and collected the item(s) he found today.
Would LOVE to know about these earth shattering tips and potential pieces of evidence and where they were found!!

As someone who just lost her brother to colon cancer a month ago, I can attest to it not being unusual at all that she shared with her brother or that he asked about it in the manner described above. I read up on everything that could help my brother, and the first thing that almost everybody suggests when you're struggling with the side effects of chemo is medical marijuana. Depression is very common with cancer, I think it's a side effect of what your body is going through. There was nothing I would not have suggested or asked my brother about whether he had tried if I thought it had any chance of helping him or alleviating his suffering.

I'm so sorry Kittybunny, about your brother.:(:(:(
I hope, after some time, it will be easier for you.

Here, with SM, she overcame cancer, only to have gone 'missing'.
Hope the arrest we expect, comes very soon.

Can we redirect the narrative, more accurately reflect the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and increase the VOLUME in this case by changing the TITLE of this forum to:

Suzanne Morphew, 49 DISAPPEARED
after ABRUPTLY ending a social media conversation at 2:30 pm,
the SAME DAY that her HUSBAND leaves work midday
after telling his employee that he has to
"GO HOME AND MAKE THE WIFE HAPPY".

Maybe this should be CHANGED on every social media, youtube channel, and media outlet covering the story. MOO

Could no longer edit my first post (#897), would have deleted it after I made the above changes, but couldn't do that either ... If moderator could delete # 897 please?

WS isn't working well today. Am I the only one with that problem? I fear, it will disturb the flow of the many news, which are expected to come in and sometimes wanted to be answered.

  • #908
Where did the info come from that he was rude to fellow chemo patients? (I’m behind).
Suzanne became friends with another female chemo patient and they would visit while in the waiting room waiting for treatments. The friend said when BM accompanied SM to her appointments that he was standoffish and unfriendly. This was told to Lauren a few weeks ago.

@FromGermany , I noticed it as well! Kind of wonky today.

WOW WOW WOW on the interview with Lauren! And the PE info, tips, things found.

Not one iota of information that points away from BM.

Barry just keeps digging himself a deeper hole. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

My opinion on him has not changed. Instead, it has solidified.

Every word out of his mouth is a lie.

I suspect it has been for a long time.

I also hope he has LE eyes on him 24/7. I think he's a very dangerous man and whatever walls were crumbling around him are now in piles of smoldering rubble.

There should have been "mountains of evidence" available to LE, but as we learned earlier this week, that is no guarantee that it was collected in a timely manner. There are four primary traffic cameras, numerous intersection cameras, store cameras that also catch the highway, motel cameras, store cameras..........his truck has non-defeatable exact GPS recording, and his Bobcat does as well. He had his cell phone the whole time, and the highway routes are well covered by cell towers. In the Denver area, cellular data alone should pinpoint where his phone was, and what it was doing, every minute of the day. The hotel has extensive, very sophisticated cameras, and tonight Lauren Scharf confirmed that his home does have cameras as well. They have the testimony of JP and MG that he was there in the room in Denver. BM's alibi might very well be the best evidenced alibi ever in the history of crime, but electronic data needs to be preserved, and we have no assurance at this time that all of it was saved. IMO
BBM
Keep in mind, there is no proof that he had his phone the whole time. Your post is based on the supposition that he did.

There may very well be cameras "everywhere." However, this is going to be his downfall not his alibi.

@Kittybunny, I am so sorry for your loss. Wishing you comfort.

ETA comment. Had trouble when I originally tried to reply.

I'm not sure the emotion he's feeling is guilt. Surely he feels ABSOLVED because Suzanne ALWAYS forgives him. And we know he thinks that, if just one person is helped, saved, Suzanne will be all okay with this thing that happened to him. (Notice, in his verbiage, HE didn't cause this thing, this thing HAPPENED TO HIM.) If he feels ANYTHING, IMO, it's abject frustration that he can't control law enforcement and can't control popular opinion. For someone who's been "controlling things for some time" that can't feel good. Nope, he's not feeling guilty for what he's done; he's feeling angry, like a caged--wait for it -- (mountain) lion. He's not stupid, everyone else is.

I couldn't tie into the Q&A tonight, so I am grateful for everyone's posts.

@swedeheart you said, "andy also said there have been a few "earth-shattering" tips coming in daily in recent days."

This is music to my ears!

I don't think BM is used to what he says being questioned. He said it, therefore it is. End of.

I think he was stunned when LE did not immediately take him at his word about about a mountain lion. I think he had no Plan B Story and invented it on the spot. And he can't keep all the balls in the air, what he's said in one place contradicts what he's said in another.

I wonder if AM may be planning on having a heart-to-heart with his BIL before the search begins.

How brilliant of Lauren Scharf to ask Barry what his last words to Suzanne were. What a great question. And Barry couldn't/wouldn't answer it. Wow! That's very telling.

Also, BM getting emotional and asking LS if she believed in God, leads me to think he's carrying a burden of guilt. If so, he may soon confess and lead LE to Suzanne's body.

This week the stress and strain are going to be even harder than ever for BM. When Andy and all of the searchers arrive with the intent of finding Suzanne and bringing her home, I believe it's going to be too much for BM. I hope and pray he ends his charade and steps forward to tell Andy and his daughters where Suzanne's remains are located. MOO
Amen!!!

BM had created a narrative and expected LE to give credence to it. His anger blazed when they didn't.

What he didn't expect is his brother-in-law acquiring the backing of a military force, one bent on finding SM.

My heart just breaks for AM.

“ I don’t think from the time this was committed til the time she was hidden there was time to get her very far. I think she is in a 30 to 40 mile radius of Salida.”

9:00

Since BM won't "step up to the plate," AM will do it himself. I love this large army he has backing him. They will devour that 40 mile radius.

I wonder if Andy feeling certain she is close to home has anything to do with what was specifically found by the searcher from PE interview MOO

Ok, so BMs statement about the Sunday eyewitnesses (and the fact he is emphatic LS share this info) is beyond strange.

Any chance he is trying to apply public pressure on two people to lie for him? Maybe it is a veiled threat? That's the only thing I can come up with, short of him just thinking people are complete idiots and will believe him. JMO, MOO.

BM seems to create a new lie or narrative at every opportunity to see what sticks.

Can you imagine the 30 hours of FBI interviews? What a train wreck those must be.
