Afaik, LE never pushed the bike theory.

Regardless Andy had no reason not to trust Barry initially. Barry probably told Andy that story and he never thought to questioned it, like the elk antler out front. That may or may not have been a roadkill, could have been taken down by a Mountain lion, which takes on a whole new meaning now.... could play into Barry's story.

According to AM, CBI said there was a strong smell of bleach in the home when LE did the initial search of the home during a “wellness check” looking for SM. For the smell of bleach to be so strong it was noted by LE is worth taking note. That info could have raised LE’s antennae in the beginning. MOO

Also with bleach - it would have to be a HUGE amount used for the smell to still be present if the neighbour checked in at the Morphew house late in the afternoon and said bleach had been used the night before/early hours of the morning or it had been very recently used imo (eta - maybe BM left later than the 5am time he gave?)

Regarding the "two people" who saw SM on Sunday, is BM referring to himself and the friend with whom she was texting? Is it possible SM and her friend were using Zoom, or some other app. whereby they could actually see each other?

The texting between SUZANNE and her friend was Saturday, not Sunday.

IMO, no one saw SUZANNE alive after Saturday. (And I'm puzzled by the Friday comment by AM. No great ideas about that.)

I love that 60 people are coming from Indiana for the search, and the Salida community is helping assist them with food and housing. Hopefully the girls will see how much support is out there, how many people are doing this for them and their Mom. They are in such a tough spot.

So, BM's now saying two people saw Suzanne on the Sunday .... why haven't we heard anything about this before? Who are these people? The milkman? Mr Whippy? It's huge for BM to be saying this, it totally clears him of course because he left for Denver at 5.00 am. I hope we get some info from LE soon about these mystery people, because it changes everything.

They really are in a tough spot. I hope they have the strength to go without their father if he doesn’t want to go.

Perhaps they could go with school friends and their families to help them get through it. I hope they realize these people are coming in to try and find their Mom and how much it would mean to everyone to see their appreciation for all the efforts put forth.

There must be people from their church that would support them if they are afraid and stand by them.

I worry that their father may not allow them to go to the vigil and they must do whatever he decides. Praying for strength for these girls.

That would not necessarily indicate LE suspected BM of anything. Since BM was not in town the day of the disappearance and it was (and still is) not definitively known what occurred and where, it only makes sense that LE would close off the dwelling from everyone other than investigative LE to avoid potential evidence contamination. A stranger could have entered the dwelling or was SM let them in and something happened, etc.

Yes, another possibility.

I prefer to see a report from LE regarding BM and such testing. Same with BM and having been "cleared", although it would not be beyond LE to tell an individual secretly under focus that they've been "cleared"... then cause or wait for a trip-up.

I have difficulty believing LE lied and told BM he was cleared when in fact he wasn’t. Remember, BM said LE was the one screwing up the investigation and ruining his life. (Paraphrasing bc I don’t remember his exact phrasing) MOO

Back to Coolers and Ice Chests for a minute.

Since LE found it unusual that there was not a single "cooler" they could find I wanted to see how many I had. I went out to the garage and counted. I have 5 ice chests of various sizes and my two large ones are quite large.

I can see why LE found this unusual because for a family like the M's, who we now know go camping, husband goes hunting, and also has construction work where having cold drinks nearby is a good thing to have, it seems to me that he should have had at least one cooler for use at his work.

Now the girls may have taken the main coolers with them camping but I would still expect BM should have had at least one for his own work usage when working his job sites.

I used to work for a construction crew where our boss always brought a shared large water cooler with ice every day. It was one of those water dispensers like the large plastic Gatorade water cooler dispensers. So it wasnt actually a regular Ice Chest but the boss always brought it every day for the crew's usage.

So even if BM did not bring one for his work crew, it seems to me he would have had one at least for his own usage at work or when he goes hunting.

Once the girls got home and once BM got home, if there were still no coolers or ice chests showing up, then that would strike me as strange too.

Its little things like this that sometimes becomes important circumstantial evidence to add to the list of other circumstantial evidence. Little things that a perp would not even think about.
