The road cameras near the house are for traffic control, those don't have cameras. I do not believe there is any camera capture between Monarch Pass and Salida - a big area. @Dave F. will know - I believe he's the one who has mentioned it in earlier threads.

We have no word directly from LE about any cooler - that's AM's statement.

I find AM very credible - more now after his latest appearance on PE. Was always credible, but is ticking all my boxes, linguistically, for "truthful person."

There is possibility of private cameras, business cameras.

It's huge for BM to be saying this, it totally clears him of course because he left for Denver at 5.00 am. I hope we get some info from LE soon about these mystery people, because it changes everything.

Because that narrows the window even more, 4 months to collect tracking log, etc. for one vehicle, one person, seems more than adequate...JMO

Yes it is. One would think BM would have organized a search like this along with SM’s family right from the start, or at least a month out.

I don’t care what kind of family dynamics were in play, I would welcome her family and anyone else willing to help me bring my wife home!!

Barry, being the self proclaimed Christian he is, should put any differences aside if it meant finding his wife- IMO.

This part has always stuck with me when AM was relaying what BM told him about the time BM actually got back home to join the searching for SM.

It could have been a mistake on either AM's or BM's part, but then again maybe it was originally told to him that it was 6pm and maybe that later got changed to 9pm.

One reason this is important is the person that was checking in at the motel Sunday who found BM's insurance papers says he did not physically see BM in that room that day from what I gathered. So if BM left that motel closer to 3pm or earlier, then it means he should have been back near his home by 6pm and that would sync up with what we hear AM say.

If he did not arrive till 9pm then it means he should have been seen by the person checking in at the motel in Denver area because BM should have still been around Denver if he did not leave Denver area till around 6pm.

Its another confusing thing like so much of this case. That has been one of my biggest "tells" from the very beginning. Why is everything always confusing and not clear about BM's whereabouts that Sunday morning, afternoon, and early evening. To me, the fact it has been confusing may point to something not on the up and up about it.
It should have been very clear from day one and not so muddy.

Broomfield, Denver.
Fire training, landscaping job.
Mountain lion, stranger abduction.
Saturday, Sunday.

I can see how those details could all get confused in his head, what with everything else he's had on his mind.
After all, he had to get those guardianship papers filed with the IN court right away, and get that property sale completed, and all.

He's had a lot on his plate.

And I ain't just talking peanut butter burgers.

After listening to AM on PE, I have such confidence in him. He has settled or grown into his role as Suzanne's only on-the-ground advocate. But it's more than that, he really has a strong sense of what needs to be done. I like that he said, in his view, Suzanne is near the house and not all that well concealed (although - how will they search there?)

I wonder if it would be possible for the DA or Sheriff to go to a judge and point out that one particular area was now unsearched - in order to get a search warrant for HRD dogs and all else to go to look for Suzanne.

If so, then AM is calmly playing the long game, at least in his public persona. That takes a lot of strength.

I think that's highly unlikely. But I do think it's possible that someone wanted to attract a mountain lion to the property, to bolster a mountain lion theory.

I also find it very convenient that "road kill" occurred in the vicinity, as hunting season for elk was not in session.

It's odd to take part of the skull of road kill, along with the antlers, even more strange to keep it next to one's house. We don't know how long it was there, but if it was there before Suzanne went missing and if it is true (as AM states) that LE saw a mountain lion in the area...one has to wonder about it.

This is pretty explicit on how it is done and why.

I usually leave plenty of skull plate because once I only left a small skull plate area between the antlers and it split when I dropped it!

I think SM would be so proud of her brother for all of his efforts, and and she would feel so loved. However, IF (and I think there's less than a 1% chance he is) but even IF her hubby was innocent, I think she would be so disappointed in how little effort and love he has shown.

High-tech doesn't matter unless searches are implemented in relevant & correct locations. The trick is knowing those locations, and if you know the locations then high-tech isn't necessarily required.

In the case of Michelle Le, her body was found (by Amber Dubois’ mother, so sad), after LE gave searchers information about where Michelle’s phone was pinging. Iirc.

She was found about four months after she went missing by volunteers organized by Klaas Kids.

I suspect at this point LE is waiting for body discovery to finally proceed in public fashion. This quiet time could be a holding pattern waiting for forensics lab data to return on items collected from the M house and maybe even from remote locations.

AM confirmed in a video interview that one thing he knows “for a fact” was that LE saw a large male mountain lion at the Morphew home. But no, there is no official report from LE on this or much else.

I always discounted the "mountain
lion theory" due to the scarcity of mountain lion attacks on humans in Colorado. However, if AM's statement is accurate, then this will provide a powerful piece of ammo to the defense to argue reasonable doubt if Suzanne is never found.

Whenever the defendant can have a peace officer testify as to something that may create reasonable doubt, it's the boxing equivalent of a strong right hook. The prosecutor is put in a real pickle: essentially, s/he must ask the jury to believe officer #1 but disbelieve officer #2. The defendant can ask the jury to believe both officers and then argue that the testimony of the officer who saw the mountain lion creates reasonable doubt. I've been in this position as both a prosecutor and defense attorney, and it's not a good place to be when you're trying to secure a conviction.

Just for the record, don’t throw stones at my glass house... LOL, we moved into our current house, 20 yrs ago, We were in our forties. It is larger than the Morphews...it enabled us to move my mother in, and gave her complete privacy, later my sister after surgery on severely broken ankle.
We needed “to keep up with the Jones”, because we were last couple to build on property. I’m kinda failing to see the relevance, but perhaps they are similar, we built our home here because it is private, on a pond and surrounded by acreage.
In Ms case, It’s absolutely possible it was one of limited amount of properties available at the time the Morphews were looking.
we do ramble at times, but Neither of us are narcissists...we’re same couple that lived in 2700 sf for 23 yrs.
My hubby knows better than to pick a house out for me.

Agreeing w you. If in their shoes (50-ish couple & kids virtually gone, which I'm not), 3300 sq ft house would be about three times bigger than desirable.

As I said, appears 3300+ sq ft was a personal preference of BM or SM. Or maybe both?
