Maybe so, but in my opinion, the M's home will likely be known in the future as "stigmatized" property. MOO

Agree. The home will "haunted."

I'm half way to Salida, stopping to rest for the night. I teeter between annoyed and determined. Annoyed that me, my hound and my husband would drive 16 hours, pay for a week of lodging and food to help a stranger find something to bring the family peace; peppered with being annoyed that the proven horrible husband and father cannot be bothered to do anything remotely close. As a matter of fact, he's buying property, cars, dirt bikes (speculation), condos and out elk hunting. At the very least he should be everywhere and ecstatic that so many strangers would come together to help his family.

I hope we find some closure for the family, I also hope we find the missing link for an arrest and later a conviction of the terrible party(ies) responsible for taking this beautiful life.

What you, and your husband are doing is great.:):):)
To help someone, you don't know, putting in so much effort, speaks to the type of people you are.
The WS searching, I hope, identify each other, and have a bond.
Your dog is so lucky to have you both, as I bet he/she has a terrific, loving life.
I wish you were my friends.
Hope this enormous effort finds SM.:)

Exactly... Just like when there were rumors of a suitcase missing from Gannon Stauch’s home, and poor GS is found stuffed in one months later in Florida. Little details perps don’t think about get them caught.
I bet the girls know if dad had lots of coolers, and if he had lots of them, I think the youngest should go live with her sister, MOO

I believe it. I was wondering how he was going to weasel out of this, and now we have our answer.

“If they asked me to help, I will help,” Barry told FOX21 News. “Nobody has contacted me because Andy’s doing this for a publicity stunt.”

No one should have to ask you to search for your wife Barry. A 500 plus person strong “publicity stunt.” He’s dumber than I tell people.

Wow. Just wow. So first, it was LE who displeased Barry. Then, his employees. Then, his BiL who wants to find his missing wife.

Publicity stunt. BM must live in La-La Land for real.

Your post summarizes everyone's frustration - but you are a hero. I needed to cry a little about the world, about Suzanne - and your post did it. Not sadness, entirely, but also some kind of sad hopeful feeling - because people like you and your husband and your hound (also a people IMO!) exist.

BM needed to put aside the gym, the property buying...at least long enough to do what Andy is doing. What you're doing.

I guess the engraved invitation to search for his missing wife did not get forwarded to his change of address.

He has absolutely zero self awareness, and is about as tone deaf as they come. He just declared war on Andy.

If this were true, it would be a bombshell, imo...He would have to have gone back home, back to Denver, back to puma path, I don’t need names, I just need the time she was seen?
Because that narrows the window even more, 4 months to collect tracking log, etc. for one vehicle, one person, seems more than adequate...JMO

I'm not sure you're right.

One thing that's done early on in most investigations is to obtain cell tower pings from every tower within miles of the incident. In this case, there would only be a few - but the timeline is fuzzy, so several days. The pings will show whose phones were nearby and in what direction they were traveling (and probably at what speed).

It will be a mountain of data, as it was a nice Spring weekend - and people were out and about for Mother's Day.

No reputable LE agency would go without this data - but it would take time to obtain and then analyze. Pattern recognition software would help - but nothing helps like actual human eyes.

Are you actually part of any investigations, past or present? Because it's my experience in forensic work that it takes about 2-4 months just to call in someone specialized, like an anthropologist or a linguist or an information scientist or an underground radar specialist (who could be from several fields). It can take longer.

What are you basing your estimate on? There's no point in putting someone on the clock (experts are expensive) until the basic data is collected.

Most cellular providers take at least a month. I'm hearing that during CoVid the time is tripled or quadruped, as workplaces are social distancing and it takes more time in general for things to get done.

Instead of walking down the hall to consult with the local expert, one has to set up Zoom meetings. It's complicated right now.

Anyway - can you let us know how you came up with that estimate? I'd say that it wouldn't be unusual (right now) for it to take 4-6 months to get the cell data, investigate every single phone that was in the area for that time, record the data in spreadsheets, get together in teams to analyze the data, etc.

Then...that probably points to other needed data (cell tower data from a broader area). Or, perhaps, some suspects emerge and are being investigated (at about the 2-3 month mark, right now). Sure, BM was a suspect due to his relationship to Suzanne, but if the ping data further indicates that BM was involved, that goes in the hopper - but the other ping data (that strange car by the side of the road, people from Salida who happened to be up there but didn't contact LE), all of that has to be put through the works.

Well once again we got Angry Barry on the telephone.

MOO.

I'll close tonight with a statement about Andy. I hadn't listened to all his interviews until last night.

He strikes me as a solid critical thinker, a man with a mission. He is practical and steady in his approach. He's in a really hard position, grieving his sister, but also the only family member with the means and the mindset to try and find her.

He's brave and true - the big brother we all wish we had.

Yes, everyone needs to listen to that. He’s rattled and angry. I love it.

“If anybody out here can find anything, I am all for it. I will help him behind it 100 percent,” Barry said.
“I want to bring her back home”: Hundreds plan to join search for Suzanne Morphew this week | FOX21 News Colorado

Can find "anything"? Barry still can't say it can he? In case you forgot Barry, your wife's name is Suzanne.

I wonder if the news there was some sort of evidence found and the CCSO came out to collect it is really getting to BM? Add Andy's comment last night about "three or four earth shattering tips a day" coming in. I think someone's getting very scared.
