Yes... color me confused o_O
Dang! The texting stopping at 8 am is confusing. Indiana is 2 hours ahead of Colorado time. I'm confused now too. Do you all think that BM was texting as Suzanne from the beach job on Saturday morning? That would have ended abruptly when he told MG that he needed to go home and make the wife happy.

I just pray that the searchers find Suzanne.

Shifting the timeline back a day....

What if..

What if the first messaging was Friday night, in anticipation of the wedding the next day? And THOSE messages ended abruptly?

What if the batch of friend suggestions went out Friday night? Or not until Saturday night, the day he may have used his phone to log onto her Facebook?

What if the Salida noise was Friday night?

What if the messages that seemed "off" were Saturday morning, around 8 am, but weren't from Suzanne at all?

What if Suzanne was murdered Friday evening, causing Barry to have a very bad night?

What if the friend from Indiana, worried that she couldn't reach Suzanne, who'd then miss the virtual wedding, contacted Barry, compelling him to access Suzanne's Facebook, to send a message, as if her?

That would fit with Barry at the Salida site Friday night, possibly late. The lady couldn't pinpoint WHICH night of Mother's Day weekend she heard noise. It also fits with Morgan's impression of him on Saturday morning AND his insistence she rake the beach area (to eliminate any trace of his activity the night before?).

So.... Suzanne did get takeout on Friday. For one? Or two? Where were the remnants of that meal? Any trash layered atop them?

I'm beginning to think that Suzanne did text until 9pm, when the conversation ended abruptly. Just not on Saturday. Friday.

Ok. So it now sounds like Suzanne’s last phone activity was around 8am on Saturday morning. This begs the question, was it definitely her?

That seems like a strange time to have a major argument, or even commit a premeditated murder.

This of course would explain Barry’s alleged strange behavior at the construction site, as he knew he had a body to dispose of and an alibi to build.

I don’t know though.
Maybe the 8:00 a.m. activity were the texts that didn’t sound like her. They had allegedly been on a rather lengthy text series discussing the bff’s son’s wedding among other things. How early did they start this lengthy discussion?
OR.... Maybe the texts ended unexpectedly the night before and the 8:00 a.m. texts were BM impersonating SM.

I sure as hell hope LE's timeline is better than the on we seem to have going, no wonder they didn't want to get involved with this search.
This is all over the place.

I don’t think he dumped her body in broad daylight.

If the body had already been disposed of, then it doesn’t make a lot of sense for Barry to leave at 5am on Sunday morning. I think getting rid of Suzanne was the purpose of that (I also think he left earlier, so he’d have plenty of darkness).

If this wasn’t planned, then it probably would have taken Barry time to figure out what his next steps were:

How to conceal the body for transport.
How to dispose of the body.
Where to dispose of the body.

So I don’t like that particular 3 hour window.

I guess I interpret the 5am departure could mean two different things
1) the purpose of it could have been to dispose of the body and create a timeline that lines up with the hotel camera check-in time
2.) I also think he just could have just felt he had to be out of the house for the entire day to further assert “I left her and she was sleeping”. What if Suzanne’s bike rides were normally in the mornings? Barry would need to be gone before that time in order to play dumb when the neighbor called him or whatever.

so yes, she could have be disposed of on the way to the hotel. But I still think she’s in the concrete, somehow.

It’s going to be. We’re playing a game of telephone here, and we don’t know if something is being lost in translation, or was wrong to begin with.

I don't see how anyone , ie LE, could mix up text messages and FB activity like friend suggestions/requests. They should be able to tell when the "texting" stopped, unless he faked that and we just haven't been told yet, and texting stopped more than once, but I doubt that. Backing up, do we even know if the texting was on fb or right on phone messages? I would use whatsapp for normal texting instead of opening fb.

MG said he picked her up in the morning and thought they were going to work all day but stopped at 11:00 because he had to make the wife happy.
Exactly. And we know he had no intention of doing that which leaves much more time available.

Might be time to rip up my timeline and start all over again.....

I thought he had been working "with" MG. Ie having her rake sand, and he was around long enough for her to notice he was acting weird. Did he bring her to work that morning?

Or maybe he just showed up at 10 or 11 to say wrap up the work, the wife and I are going on bikes, whatever. Somehow I was thinking they worked together that a.m. ???? Hmmm. MG must be a key time witness if he really did murder SM at 8 a.m.
Not sure. He could've called her and said 'wrap it up'.

I'll have to go listen again (tomorrow) I could have sworn they were there together at the site when at 11 he took off and told her to wrap it up.

Exactly. That's why there was so much time to run around on Saturday.

Let us know, I do miss some things. I think MG did a second 'interview' that I meant to listen to. Thanks!

I will listen and post what she said. It's way late here and I (really) need some beauty sleep.

I hate it when all we've been puzzling out over months suddenly seems silly. But AM sure sounded sincere when he was discussing that 12:30 in Colorado time data point. He couldn't have known differently, then, imo.

By mentioning SM to MG that kept her "alive" in BM's timeline.

Don’t rip it up yet. More often than one would hope, MSM gets some details wrong and it may be that this most recent report is incorrect. Perhaps the reporter had messy notes and mixed up the time searchers will be meeting every morning with the time SM abruptly stopped communicating with her friend.
