Do we know for a fact he was on the road to Denver when he was madly texting? Or could he have been texting from someplace closer to home to make it appear he was doing something normal.

The texts Chris Watts made while at Cervi burying Shan’ann come to mind.

Seems to me LE determined BM was hitting cell towers at 4 AM which is said impossible from his residence.

I believe the theory is that BM did not leave home at 5 AM to travel to Denver because he was texting at 4 AM. Morphew residence is said to have no cell coverage and they are dependant on their internet for fb messenger and/or imessages to communicate from home.

And begs to the simple question I wish that AM had shared. What date was the hotel room reserved? It is SUCH a simple question and I just cannot figure out why that isn't known/shared to her brother.

I'm now questioning if BM specifically asked JP about working at the Broomfield job Sunday when they allegedly met on Saturday afternoon.

I think it's possible that JP was looking for work for the upcoming season and MG was trying to help JP out and put him together with BM. It's my impression that MG knew nothing about going to Broomfield on Sunday until she was contacted by BM to put a crew together where BM allegedly gave her the OK to contact JP. I understand that JP also contacted BM on Sunday to confirm this job offer.

At this time, I believe BM was texting MG at 4 AM Sunday. I'm also giving MG an ounce more credibility on her interview with LS than I'm giving JP's story to the DM.

I’m having problems buying into any sighting of SM on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. Wouldn’t LE have her cell location data showing that she was there IF she was actually there? I could be mistaken about this because I’m a tech idiot so forgive me if that’s incorrect. Just don’t eat me alive . Chances of her shutting off her phone when her girls are off on a camping trip out of state is highly unlikely.

Additionally, MG stated that Barry was acting really weird at the Salida job site in the morning, stated that BM said he needed to go home and go biking or hiking to make the wife happy (a dead wife?) and then says he was spotted in town all afternoon by himself.

Colour me confused But I bet LE is NOT confused. They are just missing a few pieces of the puzzle they need to find before they put the hammer down!! MOO.

I think that is wrong - I don't think she was seen on Saturday - didn't AM say her phone was dead at 8am or something? on Saturday? this timeline is all over the place -

We assisted our clients with several - the amount of paperwork you submitted to get the money was enormous - small business owners had to also provide their personal tax returns and disclose any and all assets outside of the actual business they were applying for - forgiveness applications are on hold until they get the requirements straightened out.

So if he needed Gene’s signature for the guardianship papers, did BM forge his signature or was it not needed to get the papers prepared and approved by the Judge? Cannot wait until we can see this document and so many more .

One line of thinking might fathom BM has no idea what happened to SM and in case she abandoned him (and the daughters) he was concerned she might do something regarding their property and the guardianship move is to avoid such a sideswipe. Or it's an innocent legal move to transfer SM's bill responsibilities to himself so that he may (continue to) pay off her debts?

IANAL, anyone want to chime in?

I'm not suggesting all this is the case, just tossing odd ideas in to the ether. Of course, it could be he's planned to use this move as a tactic to 'prove' he doesn't know what happened to SM and he was only attempting to protect their interests.

Moving on from the odd theories category, let's ponder this:

In what assets does SM maintain a legal interest in Indiana that involve her father and requires his signature for a transfer of guardianship from IN to CO? Business or real property or something else?

Trying to remember the timing on the gimme fund change from Mom to MM? Did that corelate to the legal filing of the guardianship time wise? I could see him spinning that to MM in a deceptive way.

Even if he destroyed his own phone or a burner, MG’s will tell LE a lot that they needed to know. She turned her phone over either Tuesday or Wednesday and had at least one interview with LE. When BM found out, he fired her. Imagine his rage when he realized this woman might be his downfall?

Content of text messages might not be available, but times and numbers called or called from would all be available, which would prove times she and BM were in contact. It would appear to be in his truck because he said BM's account of leaving at 5am didn't match with his EVI (electronic vehicle information)

Fortunately, MG gave authorities consent to search her phone without delay which definitely would have expedited this information in the hands of authorities versus waiting on a search warrant (required for tracking location) and court order for cell records. I believe information from MG's phone probably helped secure search warrants for information about others!
