Oh snap, it's a violation for anyone to work on holidays without a permit, which SM did not have. Loads of wall info from Lauren!

The bobcat was NOT at the wall that, and they absolutely needed it.

Lauren's source said the Broomfield wall was NOT checked by the dogs or searched, to this day, and in his opinion, they need to go back if they haven't.

I attached a ss of the wall blueprint, as well as the company (contractor and sub-contractor) that hired Barry for the wall job.

Barry never invoiced for the Broomfield work but paid Morgan and Jeffrey.

Good question.

Underwater body location and recovery is a completely different ball game than looking for sunken "stuff". I'm not hopeful here and doubt LE has requested this resource (I'll gladly eat my words). I know, I know....Debbie Downer here :)

MrLeisek's Adventures with Purpose

Being realistic about it is not being a Debbie Downer. We have been disappointed so many times by now that we are scared to get our hopes up again. I’ve watched a few of the AWP videos and was very impressed with them and their capabilities. Maybe they will finally be the ones to find Suzanne? Anything is possible so I’m keeping hope alive! And if they find something on their sonar or whatever equipment they use in the mine & BM’s hunting grounds then they will call in LE. That’s what they did in other cases where they have found a car with a body in it. They didn’t remove the body themselves. And if LE refuses to assist or send resources then we will definitely know something is rotten in Chaffee County!

I kind of got the impression that they do what they do, based on donations from subscribers to their YT channel. IOW, if the resources are there, they go and do what they do.

In any case, I do hope they're welcomed by the CCSO.
Most importantly, I hope they find SM.

Oh, and yes, BM must be absolutely delighted that these guys are coming to assist in the search for his beloved wife. I mean, whatever it takes, eh? No questions asked. I wonder if he'll be available to consult with them when they get there?

jmo

BBM:

I'm sure he'll be more than happy to help, and by help here, I mean go back on yard patrol with his shotgun.

Perhaps BM's friend who knows more about this stuff than anybody (400 tours of Iraq/Afghanistan, hello) will offer to take the team out to all of BM's familiar hunting grounds.

JMO.

BBM:

I agree that the fact searches are continuing to happen is a very hopeful sign.

We should all take encouragement from that.

To your bolded point, though:

There's nothing to indicate that the CCSO is anything other than fully committed to pursuing justice for SM.

Whether or not LE is actively involved in this upcoming private search shouldn't be the benchmark for measuring their trustworthiness.

Either way, I'm confident that LE's official investigation into her disappearance remains active and ongoing.

Contrary to concerns I've heard expressed, I'm certain that this case is not cold.

Would it be easier to find a body if it was sunken inside a large cooler? Maybe with some cement mixed in to make it sink?

SUZANNE MORPHEW MISSING: Private dive team comes to Colorado to search for Suzanne Morphew

SABBM:

And now, nearly 6 months after Morphew went missing near her home in Salida, there’s a renewed effort and a new focus.

“One of the things that people keep coming back to is Barry, you know, he was very wet. He had the hotel room. There are three ponds that are near that. We’re also dealing with the mine shaft, also dealing with some of the hunting grounds.” shared Leisek.

This is intriguing.

The article didn't make it clear whether this dive team is coming out at the request of family, or at the invitation of LE, or at their own initiative.

There was an implication that LEAs across the country are aware of the group and ask them to come out to assist in searches.

Is that the case here, I wonder?

What is particularly interesting to me is the reference to dealing with, "the mine shaft," as opposed to "mine shafts" plural or even the general description of "a mine shaft."

"The" mine shaft would seem to indicate there's a specific mine of interest that has been identified.

Also, it's really good to hear that BM's hunting grounds are going to be a target of searches.

Hey, BM, did you hear that?
Such encouraging news!
The searches for your wife are continuing, this time by a private team with a proven track record of success.

There's even talk of "a new focus" in the searches!

You must be thrilled.

JMO.

Imagine BM reading this line...
“One of the things that people keep coming back to is Barry, you know, he was very wet. He had the hotel room. There are three ponds that are near that. We’re also dealing with the mine shaft, also dealing with some of the hunting grounds.” shared Leisek.
Nothing subtle about that statement. I'm just waiting for BM to accuse "Adventures with Purpose" of being a bunch of meth-heads.

I know what you mean, but if she is underwater, she isn't staying down there without some "stuff" attached to her. ( I sound cavalier about that scenario but don't feel that way)

Per Lauren:

"There was a job in Broomfield Co...I learned where the job was"

"NW Parkway in Broomfield, CO" + "Broomfield

"Less than one mile away from the HI Suites that Barry and his crew stayed at"

"No permit for work on Sat/Sun/holiday"

This video from LS is chock-a-block with BAM, BAM, BAM

Trying to put Lauren's new information together, maybe BM was planning to repair the wall on May 11, with just Morgan. So what made him go up suddenly on Sunday? Why DIDN'T he leave the Bobcat for them? If he'd left a Bobcat and ordered some materials, it would've been a titch more convincing as alibis go....

So.... he put himself at the hotel and at the wall. Why?

He didn't bring or didn't leave a Bobcat. Why?

How many different places did the Bobcat go between May 9th and 10th?

So many new questions.

JMO

Thanks, @OldCop . I've tried that with mixed success. I'm on an ipad and I bet there are settings as to how to save an edited photo into various file formats, I'm just not up on. I think last time maybe I screenshotted a screenshot and that finally reduced it enough to post. I'll figure it out eventually!
I have the most trouble with screenshot maps in satellite view that I’ve added text to. That seems to make large files. When I open them, I use the tool that looks like a wand on the edit page. I’ve had good luck with that. It’s a general “auto” edit. Otherwise there are some apps to convert files, but I don’t feel like buying one.

There's a filled trench below the wall that the repairing company did not unearth, when they removed the backfill.

Things that make you go hmmmmmmm.

Beginning 12:53 of Lauren’s report, BOTH contractors BM being a sub contractor were in delinquency (assuming permits) with the State.
BM did not clear his delinquency until May 25 . So BM’s crew were not only working illegally without a weekend permit, BM’s Sunset Farms LLC was working with a delinquent permit with the State. Another $$
bind . Indiana contractor being the delinquent main contractor.

I just watched Lauren’s video and my takeaway is this:

LOL.

This solidifies that the wall job was used as an alibi, and that Barry’s business is a joke.

I really should say “was a joke.”

Shady, shady, shady.

BM never submitted an invoice for the wall, a $30,000 project.

I wonder if he found another way to get, well, about $30,000. Lost wages and all.

JMO
My understanding that he had been paid in 2019 for the retaining wall job that was not done correctly, and this redo was on the house. IMO he would not have been invoicing .

I know we've been over this a million times... but if a person drove a diesel truck down to a shoreline, that had conveniently and recently been raked smooth, providing a nice solid surface to drive on, how loud would that truck be, say across land and water? A truck such as that was loud enough for MG to hear and identify... what if a truck such as that were used primarily as a light source, for swapping attachments? An oddly timed mechanical thing..... how long would that take? Not stealing, trading.

There's a vortex here and I can't stop the swirl. Elk. Coolers. Bobcat. Water. Bleach. Jobsites. Mines. Hunting grounds.

Correction: mine, singular.

Oh, Bob, what have you done?

JMO
I’m loving this new search. I’ve been suspecting some water element ever since the TD video and his comments that BM was soaking wet.
