*Teal* bolded by me.
Good point.
A description made up by a (particular) man ??
I agree with you. With Barry’s possible narcissistic traits along with his lack of empathy, he is unable to behave any other way. I am sure that if he did murder Suzanne, he felt completely justified in the act.I dont think he goes out of the way to look guilty, I think he just has a total lack of self awareness about his behavior, because to him its perfectly logical to do things like lie to your missing wives family about passing a polygraph or netflix/get some me time in while a 6 day search is going on for her. BM doesnt understand socially appropriate behavior nor does he care how he comes off because hes never given a second thought to anyone but himself
I'm drawing a complete blank. Go figure. Now let's make a list of everything that he did that makes us think he is innocent.

Great post! Let's take it from the very beginning of the case....
1. BM's 27 second Facebook video
pleading for help in finding SM
2. Not talking to the media...BM said
It's too soon
3. No posters, flyers in search for. SM
4. Only speaking to media when it
was to defend himself
5. Not participating in the searches
for SM
6. Patrolling his property, armed
while others searched for SM
7. Filing for guardianship over SM
8. Financial moves...house up for sale
9. Saying that the search that AM
organized was a publicity stunt,
anybody credible as a witness were
jailbirds or methheads.
And there are so many more. Anyone else?
When we pigeon hole criminals into categories as a way of explaining their behavior, are we not giving them an out? Saying that Barry is “unable to behave any other way” because he is a narcissist, makes him less responsible for his actions.I agree with you. With Barry’s possible narcissistic traits along with his lack of empathy, he is unable to behave any other way. I am sure that if he did murder Suzanne, he felt completely justified in the act.
With the narcissists that I have known, they could justify nearly anything. Their pathological lies, wrapped up with their selfishness, lack of self awareness and total lack of empathy; anything that they view as being of benefit to them is justified in their mind.
I never said he wasn’t responsible for his behavior. When we pigeon hole criminals into categories as a way of explaining their behavior, are we not giving them an out? Saying that Barry is “unable to behave any other way” because he is a narcissist, makes him less responsible for his actions.

bbmLet me put together a different timeline.
Perfect love affair
5 am, Mother's Day, BM leaves
For Broomfield
Where he finds himself without the right equipment
Requests MG to assemble a crew before he gets there
Naps, showers
Some time in the afternoon realizes daughters are running late
Connects with daughters/neighbor
Requests call to LE "just to be safe"
(If her bike is missing, wouldn't everybody be RELIEVED? That's why she's not home, she's biking! It's a stretch, no, to jump to "we better find her bike? Because... Cat.)
9pm get home
Take time to be upset with LE
Settle in at house to the rear of family home
Monday, things to do
Tuesday, search. Too soon for a statement, but the right time to leave a helpful list at Poncha Market
7 day mark, 26 second video
2 week mark, ask father in law to sign guardianship papers, "looks like she's not coming back"
Probably Cat. Or abduction. Probably someone known to her.
Oh, well. It happens.
Back to business.
Get temporary guardianship.
Sell Indiana home.
Buy Longhorn lot.
Achieve permanent guardianship.
Acquire condo in Poncha Springs.
Buy a new truck.
Buy a dirt bike.
List family home.
Guard property, make sure no volunteers breach perimeter.
Reverse stance overnight.
Keep a low profile. Avoid most media.
You see that when there's a missing person. Best just to move on. Must'a got herself in the river or lunched on. Or taken by someone known to her, who doesn't want my reward money. Guess mystery abductor can just keep her then?
I wonder what happened to Suzanne's things, when PP got boxed up.
The neighbor who had footage of CW loading up his truck, the day his pregnant wife and two little girls went missing told LE, "he's not acting right."
Gotta say it here, the primary agent, he's not acting right.
Sure, there's a range of normal but ...
My loved one's been missing two weeks so Imma just gonna close the door on that SAID NO INNOCENT PERSON EVER.

@10ofRods - you had replied to the post that included that headline, that is all. And as I believed you were referring to that article, I responded with my thoughts about the lying you mentioned, the lying which I believe is within the headline. Again, that is all. I feel the headline is misleading and poor journalism, a lie. I wanted that to be brought into conversation. This was that opportunity, nothing personal.
I got NOTHIN'.I'm drawing a complete blank. Go figure.![]()
Capable versus responsible are gravely different!I never said he wasn’t responsible for his behavior.

MOO BM carrying a shotgun on property is no problem. His right and would cause no comment ordinarily.I agree he was carrying the gun as threat. I also think he may have had it for protection. I think he’s afraid of someone settling the score for Suzanne. I don’t mean Andy or anyone in particular, just someone bent on revenge. A person who uses violence to solve a problem might expect to be met with violence. I’m sure that, in his mind, he was very threatened by the search even if Suzanne was nowhere near any of the search areas. And in case it’s not clear, I’m not condoning violence as a solution for anyone.

Add:
Buying a new truck
Buying land and acquiring permits for said land
Hunting trip
<modsnip>
Greeting searchers with a gun and cameras and a stern warning
Not speaking to Suzanne’s family
Not joining any organized searches nor attending the vigil
Not speaking to media or actively speaking out to garner attention for his wife
Not providing a reward with the assistance of LE and/or Crimestoppers
New dirt bike
Not ensuring security cameras were working, yet now there are cameras on the property
And so all of these things that BM is engaging in that confirm in our minds his guilt, and yet not enough to warrant an arrest?? For someone who was innocent, we wouldn't have been able to come up with anything showing guilt. What a shame that he is still walking free. Although I know LE is doing thier job and greatly. It's just frustrating.. MOOAdd:
