bbmThere is a 3rd possibility. I don’t have the links but: Remember the elderly woman in the nearby apartment who was woken by the sound of equipment running at that site late at night (11pm?) She only remembered it was on Mother’s Day weekend. It was discussed here on Websleuths and other sites at length.
I speculate that it was Saturday night and it was Barry’s Bobcat making the noise in a failed attempt to bury SM ... scared off by the elderly woman’s apartment lights and/or someone else’s.
I think the above because in my experience, in times of extreme stress, we seek out the FAMILIAR for solutions. BM had graded that lot Thursday, Friday and with Morgan raked the beach part Sat. morning. He knew where the ground would be easily dug, he knew they were going to pour the slab on Monday and her “grave” would be covered in concrete.
Agreed.
Theory : I do think that it's possible the bobcat touched her remains at some point in time --if Suzanne is deceased which I think possible.
Then, if the 'cat was used in BM's other places of work-- the cadaver dogs would've smelled something.
I think the reason LE called it a 'false positive' --if they did say that (I will go and check back in the timeline); is that they dug and found nothing.
But that doesn't mean the dogs didn't pick up the odor of cadaverine.
Yes I know dogs aren't 100% accurate.
