GUILTY CT - Jennifer Dulos, 50, deceased/not found, New Canaan, 24 May 2019 *ARRESTS* #71

Back in session. Fitzpatrick claims that he was not paid for the NBC production "Inside the Trial of Michelle Troconis". Oh my, Shannon Miller is under discussion from NBC CT (she is the one who cried when MT was sentenced to 14.5 years - it was an unreal thing to see a reporter not only sit on the Troconis side of Court but cry at the conviction).

Video of interview of Fitzgerald by the infamous Shannon Miller of NBC CT being played in Court.

Yes to all of the above! The part of the trial that never achieved closure I thought was the MT timeline as she must have for once left her phone at home or turned it off. MT has gaps in her timeline and I do agree with you that she was instrumental in the entire process of 'cleaning' as her fingerprints were found on bags that were dumped on Albany.

What I still wonder is how Mama Troconis can well know who her daughter is and what she is capable of AND YET still support her through all of this and even going to the end and supposedly speaking in this trial under oath. Given the history of Mama Troconis testifying under oath in her own federal proceeding for medicaid fraud, I'm not optimistic we will hear anything having any relationship to the actual truth of the matter.

The irony here is that IF MT was suckered by FD or even if she wanted to present that cohesive front, then there'd be no parallel need to suggest she doesn't know what happened to JFd and she still could mebbe be somewhere, gone girling. There would only be dead, dead at FD's hands and she was a blind victim to his violent coercion.

So why didn't her own attorney, the glorious Schoenhorn present that angle at trial? Because he couldn't sell it.

This really is an attempt to retry her case without all of the evidence against her.

Topic is use of deceptive practices by police during questioning.

Det. Foley is back on the screen explaining the use of the practice of 'ruse'.

Shannon Miller is putting out MT narrative where the claim was MT knew nothing.

Shannon Miller was second guessing Bowman even way back when as she had bought into the Troconis narrative hook line and sinker. She imo was NEVER objective or a journalist. Miller questioned if Bowman should have stepped in at points of the interviews.

Judge is demanding that only one question be asked on cross at a time. Unreal way to treat State but now its a total pile on from MT attorney and Judge AND Fitzpatrick.

So Fitzgerald hypothesiszes in the interview that Bowman didn't stop the interview because he thought his client could handle it and ultimately her answers would be advantageous to her.

This video clip is gold. Attorney Fitzgerald defended AB's practice in allowing the interviews, because they would be advantageous to MT.

But now that he's a paid expert for the Defense.....

Lawyers getting cheeky with lawyers.

Of this weren't deathly serious, it might be funny.

So much posturing.

None of these attorneys would enjoy another attorney dissecting their lawyering.

Fitzgerald is claiming that 1.5 hr initial interview with Bowman and Troconis was insufficient. Move to strike by Brown.

This state attorney is not very precise and efficient in his questioning. He objected a lot during Fitzerald's direct exam last week and got overruled many times. He annoyed the judge last week and may be annoying him again today.

I wish Bowman could return for rebuttal as this entire process seems to be a charade and frankly at this point is nothing more than a 'circle jerk' by the participants - Judge, Fitzgerald and MT Attorney.

Discussion of Stoddard letter - putting police on notice that you don't want them interviewed. Twice Bowman told police twice that MT would not submit to interview is the point made by Atty Brown.

Fitzpatrick didn't know what was clear to Bowman as to WHICH area of CSP or local police (NCPD) was handling the case.

Isn't this an important issue to figure out for purposes of analyzing Bowmans performance?

Point made that Fitzpatrick didn't request the Bowman notes and YET was opining on Bowman process. Fitzpatrick said he just used the Bowman testimony at this trial for purposes of his analysis.

Discussion of the MT timeline and the initial meeting.

The expert is arguing that Bowman should have put protections in place for MT. Just telling her she doesn't have to talk to LE but that if she did she must absolutely tell the truth is not sufficient by itself.

This state attorney is all over the place. He seems nervous. The expert is completely relaxed and that's not a good sign imo.
