Fitz person brow has sweat on it....

State stated Fitz didn't ask for notes and so didn't know what Bowman discussed with MT.

Amen.

Now talking about Colangelo showing up at interview.

  • #1,763
Colangelo said to MT, "you are here because I think you can help".

Sgt. Vetruska says to colleagues, "I mean I don't know your guys thoughts but I don't think she knows and isn't holding anything back".

MT did not perform well in 2nd interview.

3+ hr interview.

At end of interview 3hr 40 min police said she was being helpful when she offered to take them on field trip with Bowman and police.

I bet if you polled all the folks sitting around that interview table on June 6 that NONE of them would have said that MT was simply spewing lies.

  • #1,765
MT said in 2nd interview that Bowman was serving her interests. Fitz person agrees that is what the record stated.

  • #1,766
Aug 27th letter from Bowman to Colangelo - agree that letter is a piece of advocacy on part of attorney for their client - Fitz person said letter was well written - no deficiencies.

Bowman stated that MT would be a credible cooperating witness.

FWIW the Inmate's countenance has shifted. Arms crossed, if looks could kill. I wonder why.

Fitz person has been practicing in CT for 40 years.

Talking about longstanding relationship with prosecutor and the mutual respect and trust impacts the conduct the interactions. Fitz person says yes this is true.

Cross of Fitz person is done. Now doing redirect.

Starting with relationship issue with Colangelo and attorney and the value of this relationship.

Did you read arrest warrants. Yes answer by Fitz person. Were some arrest documents signed after 2nd and 3rd interview? Yes. Last one was for conspiracy to commit murder.

Now Fitz person is talking about inconsistencies in Colangelo statements.

F. Lee Bailey is back. How important were these documents in your analysis. Fitz is addressing Judge and said they weren't super important and just think that they informed his views. Issue of the 'troubles' in Bailey legal career and acknowledged that these issues did occur but books he referred to were written many years before.

Wtnh news8

Only occasional breakaways to the Defense table

  • #1,771
@Megnut You were right - the state threatened MT that if they found the body she would be charged with murder!!

  • #1,772
We now have Fitz person second guessing Bowman but without full info on the substance of the convos with the client, asking for Bowmans notes and then speculating and drawing conclusions about ALL OF IT.

Now talking about reviewing arrest warrant with client.

I am now thinking that we need a NEW EXPERT to determine whether the Fitz person qualifies as a reasonably competent attorney.

Afternoon recess until 4pm EST.

Deep breath.....

It's been awhile since I've needed a break this badly.

Yes, and his Atty Urso was not pleased that PG had spoken extensively to police and Colangelo but he continued to work with PG and the process for over a year PRIOR to getting the agreement from Colangelo.

Like Magnet said above, the DIFFERENCE was that PG was innocent and believed that telling the truth would not hurt him (this for good reason made his attorney uncomfortable but in the end PG was ok and got his agreement).

But, I do believe that BOTH Dulos and MT via their attorneys defamed PG. In a perfect world he would be able to have sued them but the reality is that defamation suits are hugely expensive and PG would never have been able to afford it. The other reality was that neither Dulos nor MT were worth suing as by the time this all happened, they were tapped out financially or any money that they previously had available had long been hidden imo.
I still send screenshots of stuff on social media when they claim that the REAL accomplice got immunity…and yet, they also maintain that Jennifer isn’t necessarily even dead, so, which is it, Troconis bimbos?

The inmate is in a jovial mood today. Very chatty with both of her attorneys and very swivelly in her seat.

Prolly wants to make heart hands for her gallery.

JMO
She certainly is. Maybe she knows something that we don’t?

I am stuck on the fact that neither MT attorneys NOR Fitz person asked for Bowmans notes. How in the world can this have happened and I also seriously question the seriousness of Fitz person that he didn't even ask.

I wonder how much the work he did reflected that he was getting $350/hr now vs. $650/hr during the suppression hearing?

This all seems to simply be speculation done after the fact and with not only incomplete information but an imo lazy practitioner who didn't read the entire transcript, did not read all the judge Randolph orders and didn't even request the Atty Bowman notes or even ask to meet with Atty Bowman.

This is judge, jury and executioner imo and its making me quite uncomfortable watching this and trying to understand how this constitutes justice of any type.

Yes to all of the above! The part of the trial that never achieved closure I thought was the MT timeline as she must have for once left her phone at home or turned it off. MT has gaps in her timeline and I do agree with you that she was instrumental in the entire process of 'cleaning' as her fingerprints were found on bags that were dumped on Albany.

What I still wonder is how Mama Troconis can well know who her daughter is and what she is capable of AND YET still support her through all of this and even going to the end and supposedly speaking in this trial under oath. Given the history of Mama Troconis testifying under oath in her own federal proceeding for medicaid fraud, I'm not optimistic we will hear anything having any relationship to the actual truth of the matter.
They all know what Michi did-they just don’t care, because they think Jennifer ought to have given Fotis everything he wanted so that Michi could be happy. What did he (they) want? Full custody of the kids and their trust funds, a divorce, the house, and regular installments of Farber money to support all of it. That’s all. Imagine not being appalled that your daughter could be, in any way, involved in a gruesome murder of the mother of 5 children!
