He has a 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination, but he voluntarily sat down for that interview. In fact, his lawyer solicited it. There was no force, no coercion, he wasn't in LE custody. It was "freely, voluntarily and knowingly" made by FD. IMO it comes in and it is a damning piece of evidence. With the mountain of evidence LE will have, it will be very interesting to see how Mr. Coangelo constructs his case, though. He may not view the impact of that statement in the same light.
Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it.

I want to see the latest picture of him in an orange jumpsuit, with the popped collar and jauntily placed zipper. Please, please!

Wonder how it feels. May never be free again. But hey, at least he's not a psychopath.
Hahahhahaha! Guess who is laughing now!

Tampering = “Whoever knowingly alters, destroys, mutilates, conceals, covers up, falsifies, or makes a false entry in any record, document, or tangible object with the intent to impede, obstruct, or influence the investigation or proper administration of any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States or any case filed under title 11, or in relation to or contemplation of any such matter or case, shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both". jmo

Right now Fotis Dulos is here at CSP in Bridgeport. His attorney Norm Pattis is present. It is unknown yet if Fotis will post bond.

If the new charge was in connection with something in the civil court would we know that by who arrested him and where he was taken? Is the troop G thing a jail?

Wow! I’m just catching up.

I’ll bet good ole FD thought he was about be be arrested for murder. It annoys me that he’s probably slightly relieved at this point.

My guess is they’ve found evidence somewhere, and they’ve been able to link it to the crime.

Hopefully we get some details soon.

ETA: It could be regarding that mat they were looking for, but I’m not sure how that would open the door to new charges.

It's all gonna come to a head before long.
He hasn't scored any points despite his attorneys efforts.
In fact, I think it will prove to be harmful.
There is a little consolation in that he still has that dreaded ankle bracelet irritating his skin.
I suspect he feels like a caged lion right now.
Angry, frustrated, restrained.
MOO.
Little did I know that when I wrote this he was on the way to Bridgeport. :D

Whatever was tampered with is a record, document or thing, not a person, so the charge does not relate to a witness, but a piece of evidence IMO. Another brick in the wall!

Troop G =

Connecticut State Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection.
It includes the following divisions:
The Commission on Fire Prevention and Control

Connecticut State Police
Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security
The Police Officer Standards and Training Council

The Division of Scientific Services
The Division of Statewide Emergency Telecommunications

So...it looks like State Police and Forensics - for the WIN!!! jmo

I certainly was taken by surprise by this and I'm ecstatic! I hope they can keep him there until the next charges come. Hopefully soon rather than later. Hoping he can't come up with bond money this time around. He's right where he belongs. Anxious to hear what old Norm has to say. Wish I had a haha button! : )

This is where I am at-not sure why each piece of evidence is a new charge. I mean, it makes me happy that he is locked up, but I am not sure how this works.
