Could this be from leaning against bridge railing whilst dumping a body ?

Davis didn't appear to want to spend too much time questioning the other marks GBC had....

11.21am: Dr Hoskins said it was also unclear what caused red marks on Baden-Clay's right shoulder, near the armpit.

The same photograph showed a yellowing bruise between the patch of grazing and the red marks on his shoulder

Mr Davis went on to question Dr Hoskins about what happens to the anti-anxiety medication Sertraline after death

Having the antid's is a good thing by the way I see it as it shows she was taking her meds. Things can go terribly bad when you dont take them or stop taking them suddenly.

Now THAT is a VERY good point, Bayside. Excellent thinking there. Suicidal thoughts would have been more likely if she had NOT been taking her meds!

EDIT: Sorry Ali - just saw you posted almost exactly the same thing while I was typing this one!

And therefore even more unlikely to commit suicide.....

EDIT: Me too, sorry, great minds think alike lol

I dont think the idea of the suicide theory came to Gerard until later. If he had wanted to go that way he would have said straight up that he was worried about her mental state. At no time did he say that, he said she seemed fine and there were no fights etc.

I think he was trying to make out she was abducted at first then lawyered up and shut up.

Bayside, I agree and the judge in the second bail hearing pointed out that GBC said to police he did not think Allison would harm herself or something like that.

The "suicide" theory will not be going anywhere I predict, nor will the "razor, caterpillar, even coral" theory ... this is how they mount a defence, poke a hole in every bit of evidence, they are not obligated to present a cohesive or plausible story.

not sure how long allison had resumed her zoloft before her death, but isnt the first month of taking certain antidepressants a dangerous time for a suicidal or depressed person, dont some of them cause an increase in suicidal feelings to begin with?
just wondering if the defence will question this?

Prof Wells says about GBD face scratches - I had trouble with the concept that these were produced with a razor blade. #badenclay

Yes I think it was an after thought, he probably wasnt in the state of mind to come up with too much after the big night he had.

Matt Macklin @matty456

Assoc Prof Wells had a hard time believing scratches were from razor blade #BadenClay

New witness (very impressive cv) says Allison's nails were long ie protruding above her fingers. Someone will quote this better than me hopefully.

Prof Well has looked at photos of Allison Baden-Clay and says her nails could have produced the injuries to her husband. #badenclay

Witness agrees no exact time. Would be comfortable saying at least 3 hours had past between scratches and photo. #BadenClay

Prof Well says he thinks face scratches are more than 4 hours old but he cannot exclude possibility they aren't #badenclay
