I'm pretty sure it's invitation only, usually high-level media companies and their journalists. I think the companies can invite who they want.

I would think there would be intense vetting given that Trump was planning to attend along with Vance.

I would think twice about going to any political event now. I hope Mrs. Vance is okay, she is pregnant. Getting under a table quickly while pregnant isn't that easy.

I wasn't aware (before) that cabinet members all attend the correspondents dinner.

I was watching because I love Oz the Mentalist.

Thank God no one was hurt.

The gunman opened up by the magnetometers so I’m sure they’ll investigate if he made it through that with the gun, or more likely it was just before he’d pass through.

They are leaving and Trump will make a speech from the White House.

Apparently it will be rescheduled.
