Ohh no that one that has been laying there.. looks like it's head is stuck or something.. i saw it's little wings flapping but it's head wasn't coming up..

I'm pretty sure that's Sassy. WE've been watching him for a while. I haven't seen him eat the past two feedings. He was practically hanging over the side for the longest time but then move back towards the middle then back there. We've gatherd he may just be too tired to move. He was doing this earlier as well but finally picked up his head.

Sassy wants under... I'm worried about Finally, too.

eta: Okay, for clarification-- who's who? Is that Finally face down on the right?

They all ate really well earlier this afternoon...including Finally. They all looked great! Then, Sassy moved to the very edge and we thought he was going over. Then, during the next feeding he looked too tired to eat. TL thought was exhausted from trying to get back to the middle of the nest and we were hoping with some rest he'd be lured into the center for the next feeding, but instead, all the chicks seemed to move to that outside area.

Yeah, if you look back about a page, you'll see the whole thing unfold. It's been a tense afternoon to say the least.

When it gets so intense, I have to turn off the laptop for a while...then return to find that all my prayers are answered and they all are safe again.
I want to thank everyone who takes time to post so that those of us that do have to be 'cam free' for a while, can quickly know what's going on!

WHEW! Glad to see that no one is stuck in the sticks and all are tucked up and warm. Weather Channels shows storms coming through in about an hour.

Yes they do look healthy!! It appears that the chest down is starting to turn to quills more...or they just got really messing eating today!!

Mom is trying to feed babies with the fresh fish, but all of there crops are full. Its amazing how attentive she is.. They are all in a food coma now!
