I've never heard of just telling the teacher that your kid had a doctor appointment. Every school I attended required a note to the principal's office, because that's who kept track of whether it was an excused or unexcused absence.

Hi all,
I am a new poster (Candyland), but found Websleuths from the second day Lacie Peterson went missing. I FINALLY figured out how to get registered on Websleuths!! I want to say that I TRULY believe that Kyron WAS NOT at school on Science Fair Day!! I think the picture of Kyron with his science project was most likely taken the evening before. I think in all of the excitement of the science fair that EVERYONE got very confused thinking Kyron was at school when, in fact, he was not. That, my friends, gave TH even more time to get rid of Kyron!!

I never had to give a note. Maybe it depends on the school. Age of the kids might be a factor too. Older kids, teens, may more frequently require notes.

I am sorry if this has been explained before, but I can't an answer to my query.

How did TH post of FaceBook at 9:03 on June 4th? Telephone? Maybe an automatic post to her account? (I don't use Facebook.)

This seems like a small kink in her timeline...????

TIA

She posted on FB at 9:03? This is something I haven't heard before. I thought she was on during the afternoon hours, when she posted Kyron's science fair photo. Can you give us a link that shows Terri posted on FB that morning?

It sure is not at all clear to me. If Kyron's teacher thought he had a doctor's appointment, why did she respnd as she did when the chaperone, who was referenced by TP, noticed Kyron was the missing child from her group of 6.

Yes, these statements of what was said by the sub/helper and the teacher has always bothered me.

According to TP after returning to the classroom from touring the SF the helper said "Oh no, where is Kyron, there is only 5 " leads me to believe that Kyron must have been present and put into her group of 6 for the tour or why else would she think Kyron was part of her group. I wouldn't think the groups would have formed until after the bell rang just prior to the tour beginning.

Also the teachers reply that Kyron must have went to the bathroom or to get of drink of water also seems strange if in fact the teacher was of the belief that he had left with TH to go to the doctors.

This video was taken in the very beginning. IDK but I tend to believe it is more credible than other statements not made until weeks after the fact.

I found a copy of her facebook postings on another site. Is it okay to link to that copy? I was afraid that we couldn't post FaceBook pages.

You can probably do a Google search for Terri Horman Copy Facebook page.

Let's see if I can put the item into my own terminology.

The time is directly under an entry for "fast cash" and says something to the effect that it is "via Family Feud." Is that an automatic entry from an advertiser or ???

The time of 9:03 is not correct. Facebook shows the "real time" in a person's time zone. For example, I am in Pacific time. If I do something at 8:00 am, a person looking at my facebook entry in Salt Lake City (one hour ahead) sees a 9:00 am time on their facebook. A person in New York (3 hours ahead) sees that I did that entry at 11:00. Whoever pasted what you are looking at, is one hour ahead of Terri's time zone. When I saw her facebook the first few days, it showed 8:03 (or whatever it was) on my computer. We are in the same time zone.

Any time I had paperwork from a doctor, the date of the appointment was clearly written on the page. If this is true of Kyron's paper for doctor that the teacher had to fill out, there should be no confusion on the dates. If it says the 11th, the teacher should not have thought the appointment was that day. if it said the 4th, Terri is toast. If there is no date-? Do we know if there was any date at all on that paper?
The only reason I have any question on the doctor appointment story is the comments about Kyron being in the bathroom. It sort of indicates to me the teacher thought two things: He was in the bathroom, and he was at the doctors. My logical mind says it should be one or the other. Also wondering if the teacher verified with the office that Terri had signed Kyron out? is that a requirement at that school-to sign children out when they leave during the day?

We have too many threads where the doctor's appt. is being discussed. I'm going to close this one.
