An oddity to me: Mr Duncan was reunited with his finance during the time before his illness was active. (Were they sexually active?) He remained with her and her children for 3 days, and after he went to the hospital they were left in the home with his sheets and towels and clothing. Despite not taking any precautions they did not become ill.
Yet two nurses wearing some protective clothing became ill right away.
Is it just me or is that odd?
No, not if you look at what happened with him on what days. When Duncan arrived in Dallas, he was not spewing bodily fluids everywhere.
He went to the ER because of a fever and abdominal pain. No vomiting or diarrhea then either. Second time, there is anecdotal evidence that his vomiting was a new symptom of his illness, not present before perhaps the night before he was transferred by ambulance to Presby.
When Vinson and Nina took care of him, he was having copious diarrhea, vomiting that was projectile, and they were ace to elbows in infectious bodily fluids because their isolation gear was not correct.
What this timeline regarding Louise actually does is to reinforce what the WHO has been saying all along about WHEN Ebola Virus becomes transmittable.
It is the best learning example for all of us. We SAW that a woman and possibly other family in very close proximity to him didn't get sick when his body fluids were contained. We SAW that people did get sick when they were in close contact with contaminated body fluids that contained a high viral load of Ebola Virus.
