Terri might have been "involved" with him because she was Desiree's friend, but Terri did not become full time stepmom to Kyron until he was a toddler. A small detail, but I think it's important to know that while Terri was "involved" in Kyron's life as a newborn through her friendship with Desiree, Desiree was his full time mom until 2004 - a full two years after Kyron was born.

To further confuse things, when Desiree was asked on 6/25/2010 (when her and Kaine did the rounds of shows) if she knew TH before Kyron was born she said "No".

Desiree is a strong, brave, classy woman. She handled herself with such poise today and it is beyond tragic what has been done to her and everyone involved.

I can't imagine the anger I would have towards Terri if I was her. Knowing someone in my life had hurt my child-the betrayal of that.

I know, right? It it were my son I would be the first one to have been arrested in this case!

And, I would like to point out that Desiree said from her own mouth that she did NOT know Terri before Kyron was born. Her involvement with Kyron must have been through Kaine. It took her no time at all to move in on that target.

Do you think it would be "normal" to call the other parent who is going to be meeting you halfway before you start out, when the trip is going to take not less than 2 hours, and with Friday afternoon traffic, maybe much more.

And from Medford to Eugene, about the same? I'm not sure, but halfway is halfway. Yet whenever she called DY to start the trip do we know what time that was, but it was obviously before 3:30?

I guess what I'm saying is I'm not sure why they would need to be called in the first place as this was likely the norm, meet at ??? at ??? o'clock.
So why call?

KH's talking about putting his daughter's shoes on to go meet the bus didn't give one the impression they were preparing for a four hour drive, two one way.

Then there's that "they aren't sharing" remark DY made,
who exactly are "they?"

They couldn't possibly think that KH and TH are in cahoots to keep Kyron from them, could they?

And then there's that "Kyron is afraid of the police" statement made at the very beginning, could this be a custody dispute on steriods?

She would have never made the comments about Kaine talking to investigators and wanting to be there. It's clear from her statements that she doesn't believe Kaine is involved. I honestly think Kaine wasn't there because LE advised that Kaine should not be seen if they are pleading with Terri. Terri must be pretty ticked that Kaine would divorce her and keep her daughter away from her. So in order to make more headway with Terri they decided to use who they thought would tug more at Terri's heartstrings (if she has any).

I give the woman credit as well. There's no way I could remain composed. I would lose it totally.

Me as well. I'm sure she has lost it in private many times. But sometimes you find strength from deep within when you need it. I really have a great amount of respect for her.

Good grief. That's more like my experience with schools. Don't count on them for accuracy. Sorry. And mine went to a really pretty legendary great school, BUT THEY ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Yep, I think this is the final plea before the cuffs go on. They are giving her an out before it gets ugly.

Respectfully snipped. At this point, though, if LE had hard evidence against her, why wouldn't they arrest her? We're a month out from Kyron's disappearance; time, at this point, is only on Terri's side and Terri isn't talking. If she's guilty as sin for all of this, not talking is the only thing working for her. For three weeks, without a lawyer, she didn't talk. LE tried to bust her undercover, and not only did she not talk, but she called 911, which sadly, makes me laugh. Now she's retained one of the best criminal defense lawyers in the state, and I doubt he'll advise her to confess or to say anything incriminating. He may not even know whether or not she's guilty. Most defense attorneys don't ask.

And btw, playing WOW doesn't make your a murderer before anyone goes there. I haven't played it, but my husband has and we're lifetime gamers. Don't blame the game.

Playing video games does not a murderer make, so I agree with you on that point. =)

It's my opinion that the THEY Desiree refers to is Terri and her legal team. I'm guessing it's the language has changed to "us" (3 parents & LE) vs. "they/them" for LE & these 3 parents ever since Terri lawyered up. IMO

I don't think she's talking about Kaine. Kaine may not be sharing with the press, but he's likely come clean with LE and thereby Desiree & Tony as to any ups & downs the couple has had. He's had to share - this is part of the study of the "realness" of looking for a hitman, looking for a way to hurt Kaine. My guess is Kaine has had to overshare and get real about what the heck went wrong in his relationship with Terri to send her off seeking revenge.

If there's truth to Terri's 1st husband using meth at some point, Terri may not have to look too far for criminal friends.

And my final thought is that if Kyron's disappearance is for revenge, she will have left Kyron to be discovered in a way that is particularly hurtful for Kaine. He needs to be thinking places that might be happy and meaningful to him. Places he might return to. Because you can bet she would head straight for it, just to destroy one more place for him.

Connect the dots. Last seen - perfect storm school event - murder-for-hire - cell pings - lies and more lies. And the ink connecting the dots is made of a deep dark hatred and the need for revenge.

IMO. at least for today.
