Here is the recent case where a man killed a young woman while wearing one of those monitors. GPS is real time, but somebody has to watch it all the time for it to be actually monitored in real time. And it certainly doesn't appear that somebody is sitting there watching all these monitors in real time. So it provides a false sense of security.

"Police said he was wearing a GPS device while committing the killing, along with several other robberies and assaults, in and around the German Village area."

That does not back up your contention that electronic monitoring is not real time.

Exclusionary and inclusionary zones; outline where a parolee can or can not go. Golsby didn’t have any, and that means he could go anywhere he wanted, and GPS data was recorded and not monitored according to Boggs.

They didn't program his device correctly, so he had no exclusion zones. He could go anywhere he wanted. Electronic monitoring uses GPS. GPS is real time. That was human error not device error.

It doesn't matter if he could or couldn't go where he wanted. Nobody was watching in real time where he was going. That is what obviously meant by not being monitored in real time.

OK I will rephrase my statement. He should be released on his own recognizance with electronic monitoring, in real time, which is possible.

Then they will have to dedicate somebody just to watch his monitor all day long. Does he even have a place of residence? He was residing with RD but she doesn't have to keep him in her home.

Pay particular attention to 1:00 in this video. If any rules are broken the officer will get an alert within a few minutes. Millions of people are being successfully monitored with electronic monitoring.

And if somebody really wants to do something, monitor isn't going to stop them. It can be cut off. I can post lots of links of people going on the run after cutting off one of those things.

1:08 in the video "And since there are fiber optic cables in the bracelet strap, if I were to try and cut it off, he would find out right away."

Looking at the Broward County jail inmate search Zachary is not being held jail. My guess is that since he has been Baker Act he is in a mental facility. On the Broward clerks websight thier is a document from the state requesting information information on all of his previous Baker Acts. They are saying there is more than one.
Maybe the state is not doing this to punish ZC, but to help him. Like so many have said, ZC is all alone in this world. If the state doesn't help him who will?
Someone needs to help ZC, and Mayne this is the only way the state can.
All just my opinion.

Yes, he is not showing up on jail inmate search. His brother does. So either somebody posted his bail (<modsnip>), or for whatever reason jail forgot to put him on the list of inmates, or like you said, he has been placed somewhere else.

Pennsylvania school district supplies teachers with rocks in event of school shooter
A new idea has been used in one Pennsylvania school district since last fall

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Penn. - A widely discussed debate over the last several months has been whether or not teachers should be able to carry and have guns in their classrooms in case a shooter attacks the school. But one school district in Pennsylvania has decided to try a new tactic of their own.

The Blue Mountain school district in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, which has three elementary schools and one middle school and high school, has supplied each classroom with a five-gallon bucket of river stones for students and teachers to use to retaliate with in the event a shooter enters the school...

Repeal gun-free zones

Killers continue targeting locations where guns are not allowed. Ninety-eight percent of public mass shootings in this country occur in gun-free zones — the Florida school being one of them.

The U.S. is not even in the top 10 when one compares international death rates resulting from mass shootings.

Florida school wasn't exactly a gun free zone considering they did have an armed deputy on the premises. And pretty obviously Norway got into number 1 spot because they had one but very large mass shooting. We have 5% of world's population but 31% of worlds mass shooters. What it means is that our mass shooters aren't the most effective, but we do have a lot of them.

Gun free zones can have armed police. Look up the law.

There would be more shootings if gun free zones were lifted at America’s schools.

Jesus, look at the gun free school zones act, is 1990 when it passed? Read that first and understand it. Understand it before comparing it to what happens in countries with millions fewer guns.

Guh. Repealing it won’t make us safer.

READ THE LAW FIRST.

READ IT AND UNDERSTAND IT

The person who wrote the editorial was trying to make a point that shooters chose gun free zones because these zones have no guns. And my point was, that's not actually accurate. Just because the school is a gun free zone doesn't mean there are no guns, as armed deputies could be on the premises.

Body cam video of ZC's arrest.

https://www.google.com/amp/www.sun-...ting-brother-reassign-20180323-story,amp.html

Cruz’s attorney Joseph Kimok said the video confirmed what his client had said all along: “Zachary was polite. He was cooperative. He had already left school grounds at the time he was stopped.”

“The officers initially were not even going to arrest him. In Zachary’s possession was a skateboard, a juice drink, a backpack, and some clothes,” Kimok wrote. “He did not say or do anything that would even remotely suggest he was a threat to anyone. This video fully supports our position that Zachary should not be incarcerated and we are hopeful for his quick release.”[/I

So, does this mean they have determined that school shootings are genetically motivated?
Why was he banned from skateboarding there?
