according to this article, not more than 30 minutes:
The trooper found the car, its hazard lights blinking, on the right paved shoulder of eastbound I-4, northeast of State Road 44, about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, according to a sheriff's report.
The car hadn't been there more than 30 minutes because the trooper that found the seemingly disabled vehicle had been patrolling the area, Montes said.

helpful - pull off to "take" something?? Did not know about 30 minutes-- so it kind of fits, casue the car sounded as if it was parked along side "normal" not like a veer off the road
"Honey wanna do some"
The Kelseys were driving back home after visiting the children's grandparents in Quincy.
The couple had recently moved to their manufactured home. Shaughnessy said they mostly kept to themselves.
"They would wave at you, holler at you," Shaughnessy said. "But as far as wild parties, no, nothing like that going on. They were just a quiet family."
Medical Examiner's Office has a backlog of cases and said the Kelseys' autopsy report could be ready by Wednesday.
