This article might clear up things. Looks like once the allen charge is given and they still can't agree a mistrial is declared.I don’t disagree. And stated IANAL. What is the rule in FL? Anyone here that could definitively help? TIA. MOO

In the case of a deadlocked jury, the judge in a criminal case in Florida can read an "Allen Charge." This can be read once during deliberations and must be read word for word.
