According to Jefferson Co Mo property assessor site Teresa and her husband still own a condo in Fenton, Mo. http://jeffersonmo-assessor.devnetwedge.com/ ...When searching you will have to put in his first name. Both are listed as owning condo.

OT, but with a point - - - this homicide happened in my old neighborhood yesterday. I woke up to the 5am news that there was a "manhunt" for a suspect that had killed a woman in my old neighborhood, and wounded another......the media at the scene didn't know much and then the Sheriff's office asked all media to leave. That was odd.

It continued to be odd, and basically a media shutout for 6+ hours yesterday. Locals here were reasonably upset - the area this happened in is within a mile of a subdivision that has about 100 homes, a decent river area where people boat and fish...a suspect on the run could have easily decided to venture down the river's path and either confronted people out on that river (a popular area), or ended up in the backyard of one of those subdivision homes, hiding, etc. For you "Fixer Upper" fans on HGTV, Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Farms is maybe a mile away???

So the public knows there is a "manhunt" for a suspect, but NO info was released! I can't remember a time like that........by the end of the afternoon, it starts to come together...this was an ex-BF of the female, and he had been charged with stalking and harassing her, as recent as June 30th...........there were survivors in the house that were able to run to a neighbors house and identify the man, so the local LE knew who they were looking for. Unfortunately, this lady had a restraining order against him and had recently had security cameras installed because of this guy as a threat. The cameras captured this animal AFTER her murder, going out to the cars parked outside, allegedly looking inside the cars, searching for the children who ran out of the house...he was still trying to hunt them down. Ugh.

My point...LE knew who they were looking for and knew it was a targeted killing (oh, "allegedly")...but the guy was on the run and who knows what he could have done in desperation on the run...carjackings, other break-ins, etc...but LE never let the local community know a suspect description, etc. A lot of unhappy people around here. I think the Sheriff got a lot of rotten tomato votes (LOL) for his lack of PR yesterday. ////////If LE knows something in this case, you would think they'd want to get a statement out to ensure the community somehow - Lord knows, they can do that without divulging investigative details.

P.S. But our Sheriff deserves some kudos at the end of the day, as they did find their guy by the evening, up in Burleson, TX (near Ft. Worth).

I'm just going to throw some links up on probably a hodgepodge group,of issues:

"Sievers failed to show up for work Monday morning, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said, prompting someone to check on her welfare. That individual, who has not been identified, found Sievers' body inside her home and called police at 9:45 a.m."

"She just didn't show up to work. I got the phone call from the secretary," Lanka Spiska said.

That's how Dr. Teresa Sievers' closest colleague and friend said she got the news of her death."

News video of her nurse describing how they came to find out the doc was deceased:

http://www.nbc-2.com/story/29475659...bonita-springs-doctor-speaks-out#.VZwYMHA8KrU
From July 4.

Very interesting...so her office wasn't notified till after 9:45..because LE has incident report listed as 9:43. It will be interesting to know who notified the office and LE. The nurse said nothing about anyone from the office going to check on DR .. nor does she mention anything about calling LE to check on the DR. This case continues to be more
puzzling.
The alarm not set or not functioning
Family still in CT
Donation fund
Door broken

I am caught between two scenarios.

I can see how this could have been a break in with intent to rob the house.
Someone could have known the family was away and assumed the house was still empty
Panicked when he/she found Dr at home , grabbed the first available thing and bludgeoned her to death.

I can also see how it could have been a planned attack, given that Dr was home alone after just returning from a vacation without her family.

The neighbor said when she heard the shrill, it was not light out
I wonder why no alarm was set.
Was the home not equipped with one?

If this was a planned attack , then , IMO, someone knew a lot .
They knew she was home and alone in the house. No husband , no little daughters

If it was someone she knew, why break in the door?
For appearances?

Dushi LE had an alarm company come out to the scene so there must have been some kind of alarm on this house. Don't know why it was not functioning.

Are the nurse and intuitologist the same person. I know the nurse said she had worked for Dr.for 7 years.

I find it strange that if her colleague was worried that she never said that she got concerned after calling her. Did the office try to call her home and her cell?

Thanks, I finally found it, " General Hospital " was on so I got behind:blushing: At this point, I think the LE's thoughts, hunches, gut feelings, etc are the same as ours. I just think if this was a burglery, the perp had quite a few days with the whole family gone so the burgler wouldn't have to murder an innocent woman. I'm starting to wonder if the LE is being so tight lipped is to put the heebie jeebies into someone. Have they even brought anyone in for questioning? Why did the hubby feel the need to go to the office the day after his wife's violent murder, looking so distraught? Oh Yeah, to discuss the "fund" raising with the friend. :waitasec::rolleyes:

Attention please

There's absolutely no reason to be sleuthing any of Dr. Sievers colleagues, friends or family members period.

You can discuss the content of an MSM article but beyond that is off limits.

Please remember to link also.

Thank you

Probably a good number of patients knew the doctor had been out of town before the murder.
