I actually disagree that she went out that night, or at least not that night to send out the phone. I see that she used the term "overnight," but then told Travis he'd have it in a day or two. To me that means she planned to send it out the following day for him to have in a day or two following that. I think the term "overnight" is used widely in general when someone is using express delivery, but I don't think it necessarily means she meant to do it that night overnight. I also don't really think her nightclothes would have been on the bathroom floor or her outfits laid out on the bed prior to her going out somewhere. Although I guess it's possible she could have been in her nightclothes picking out what to wear the following day and on a whim decided to redress and go send the phone. Has anyone heard whether her clothes she'd worn to work Monday had been found in the condo?

I think it was on Gretta, where her bedroom was shown, and her mom stated, the clothes which were over the chair, were the clothes she had worn to work on Monday. They looked folded and draped, very neat.

You could see other clothes, outfits on her bed. It appeared to be 3 or so outfits. They were line up across the bed. I don't remember noting if the bed had been made. However, the way they covered the bed, seemed as tho they were untouched, there didn't seem to be room for an outfit to be missing.

Maybe someone else saw the picture and can give their description.

Have we established what time she has to arrive at work? Its still dark in Orlando at 6:30 in the morning. If there is an a.m. pick up at a box close too her its possible she did go to a box before say 8 a.m. Are the condos where the car was located on her route to work?
Was there any evidence in the apartment that she had been packing something? The peel off back from the label, scotch tape, etc. Was the paper she jotted down the boys address on left in the apt? Did she make a habit of stopping off for coffee enroute to work? Did she need an item from a convenience store, cigaretts, tampons? Does her own condo have a mail drop off box?
School children are on every street corner at those early hours of the morning, its difficult for something to happen, out of the ordinary, without them seeing it. I think this was a carjacking/mugging. I think the abductor was on foot and lives within the 1 mile area of her condo.

I'm glad we're not playing "Jeopardy" - as I'd lose hands down. <lol> I'm sorry I don't know the answers to any of them.

However - I'd be willing to bet LE has the answers to most of them. They're just keeping it 'close to the vest' and aren't releasing any more to the media than necessary.

You may be correct that the perpetrator(s) were "on foot" when Jennifer was abducted. Her car may very well have been conveniently "dumped" at the apt. complex 'a mile away' a day or so later. That particular area area of Orlando is a fairly high crime area - well known by LE for much 'drug dealing'.

Can't explain why, but right from the beginning - I felt that Jen left her condo to 'overnight' the phone and was abducted, robbed for drug money & probably sexually assaulted while carrying out that errand. If there was evidence of 'rape' in her car - LE isn't commenting. Hopefully, the forensics team has DNA.

I agree with you. In an earlier post in this thread it says that her work clothes from Monday were draped over a chair, there were 3 outfits on the bed that she probably had thought about wearing on Tues., and her nightclothes were on the bathroom floor. Also, I believe the boyfriend said that when he talked to her at 10 pm on Mon. night, she was in bed. It really seems like she disappeared Tues. morning on her way to work. Maybe she left early to try to drop the package? (Although I really think she probably could have sent it from the office. I could do something like that really easily at my office.)

My brain keeps picturing her coming home, the refrigerator empty, nothing to drink or eat. I can see her heading directly to a grocery store or a fast food place. Mailing the cell phone could be done from work with ease.
Maybe she made it to work but didn't make it from the car to the office.

I can't believe i didn't think of this sooner. She probably has an answering system for her work phone. I wonder if she checked the messages and went to meet someone early Tues. morning.

Mellon, I was thinking, even if Jennifer was in bed and Travis called her after she was in bed, she could've decided to go out and the nightclothes could be on the floor when she decided to get dressed to go out. Either way the nightwear could be on the floor.

I think there is a lot we don't know. Hopefully LE has a clear picture.


Beyond Belief, you mentioned the possibility of DNA in the car.

What comes to mind, Jennifer's mom saying, she never wants to see that car again. There again, there is likley info we haven't heard which her mom might be aware of. just guessing here

Does anyone else find this just a little odd? I am not implying that her parents had ANYTHING to do with her being missing, I just cant understand the rush to get rid of the car. Unless, they know something about that car that we do not. I find it odd also that police would let them get rid of the car also. I would just think they would hold it until they know what has happened to her. What if something comes up later and they need to recheck the car? You just never know. I just think it is odd to get rid of the car so soon. It is like they are mad at the car. They (her parents) think she is alive, and I hope she is, but what if Jennifer is found and she goes "why did you get rid of my car? This is just striking me as odd for some reason.

But there were clothes laid out on the bed. She wouldn't have laid out clothes if she got up to send the phone.

About the parents selling the car...maybe it's a "setup" to see if someone comes to buy it right away...maybe some thinking they hid something in the car and it might still be there. The article doesn't say what dealership, but someone might drive around until they found it. I would bet that whoever buys it will be watched.

My friend works for a car rental company and they find a lot of instances where renters have sliced carpet, or made hiding places in their rentals (apparently to hide drugs.)

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Channel 9 has learned some of the clues investigators might have uncovered from Jennifer Kesse's car. The 24-year-old disappeared almost a month ago.

"Something happened there and that's my daughter, a living being, and she was taken from that car," Jennifer's father, Drew Kesse, said.

He said, even with the splashes of processing fluid used to check for evidence, his daughter Jennifer's car is cleaner than she ever kept it. Detectives likely have most of the items of clutter that used to be there, hoping for clues.

"I'm sure they took everything they possibly could out of it and I hope they pulled something off of something in that car to give them a direction," Drew Kesse said.

Fingerprint dust lines the steering wheel, gear shift, door handles and anything else a suspect might have touched. The seats and floors were likely vacuumed to collect hairs and fibers. Soil tests could show where the mud caked on the bottom of the car came from.

I was thinking on this. They used bloodhounds to track the scent from the car and it let them back to the condo, but did they use hounds to track her most recent scent from the condo to wherever? I don't remember seeing or reading about that, but wouldn't that possibly provide a clue as to whether she even made it into her car that morning?
